Found a (subjectively)drippy commander's uniform of the underrated Burma Independence Army. It was a major Axis ally during WW2 being backed by Imperial Japan and was key in kicking the British out of South East Asia, but then would also become disillusioned with the Imperial Japanese, eventually allying with the allies to kick them out too to ensure Burmese Independence.

This is a picture of my great grandfather who was from what is today Slovakia what was then Hungary. I don’t know much about him at all or what role he had in the war. I’m assuming this is an early war picture, I have a few more pictures of him but none with this specific uniform. If anyone knows anything about this uniform and what role he may have filled please let me know. Been trying to find info on and off for years and haven’t found really anything about it.

Did the Vistula legion have the czapka or a shako thru-out its years as a regiment in Napoleons Grand Armee.

All info I have is that it’s in the interwar period, possibly Dęblin. I would like to find out as much as I can (formation etc.)

A photo from the officer's graduation ceremony at the Land Forces Academy. We can see several variants of (mainly) land forces uniforms. The individual formations are distinguished primarily by their headgear. The basic headgear for men is the rogatywka - four cornered cap. The band colour indicates the branch: navy blue for mechanized forces; orange for armoured forces; yellow for the 1st Warsaw Armored Brigade.
A maroon beret is worn by airborne troops, and red by the military police. A felt hat and a cape denote the mountain infantry.

The 2025-style People's Police Uniform was officially adopted in December 2025 upon approval by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council. This marks the first comprehensive uniform change for the People's Police force since the beginning of the new era. The adoption process does not involve a one-time distribution. Starting from 2025, the current 99-style police uniform items will be replaced gradually and as needed within the annual fiscal budget. For uniform items not yet replaced with the new style, the corresponding current police uniform items will continue to be worn, implementing a "parallel use of old and new" system until they are naturally phased out.

I recently just bought this Chinese WW2 uniform but unlike the usual blue, tan or dark green this is like a lime green and idk if this colours existed and ofc this is way too bright to be grass yellow

Looks like the uniform of a "Gefreiter", but has the Reichsadler placement on the left arm above the chevron like on the uniform of a "Sturmmann" but not the usual collar insignias, so i dont know which one it is now. And its pre 1942 in that helps

My great grandfathers battle dress jacket. The badge on the lower part of the sleeve cuff is a training qualification for the Royal Canadian Engineers. The Ribbons are the Commonwealth Korean war medal, UN medal for Korea, and the Canadian forces decoration.

It’s possible this specific outfit wasn’t directly during a war, but this relative of mine DID serve in a war and I’m trying to figure out which one. I’m hoping this uniform could give clues though. He was born in 1929 if that helps at all. Thank you!!

Sorry for my not optimal english, belonged to the grandfather of a friend of mine. My guess was Luftwaffe but I'd rather leave it to the Experts. He survived but didnt speak about his experiences. I know this Photo has a low Resolution but maybe someone can see something I'm not able to. Thanks
