FormName = Mega NidoKing

Types = STEEL,POISON
BaseStats = 90,125,110,125,100,95
Abilities = CORROSIVEARMOR: has a 30% too badly poison any Pokémon on physical contact
Height = 3.0
Weight = 295.0
Pokedex = Mega NidoKing is known to attack Aggron's for their Harden Armor and use it too secrets its Highly Corrosive fluids and tough claws.
The back sprite was somewhat harder to do other than the spikes the shiny version grew on me after a few finished touches. The ability i could change it but i think it's subtle for the mega considering it feels like a powerhouse.

Had these up on a different site but i'm tired of managing it. I'm more tryna just get my stuff into people's games. I put so much time and [redacted] so much [redacted] doing it my mustache smells like a skunk.
The purple freighter and the ferry have bridge entrances so you can walk right onto them. The ferry doesn't have an interior but i'd be down to make one. The Yacht has an interior and i imagined it'd just be walking into the back tile of the ship and fade to black and back and you're inside. i broke up the interior for like, diy parts so you can make a bigger cabin.
The building and vehicles are also original but just kinda edited versions of other vehicles and the building is just a rectangle with lines so it looks *corrugated* lol.
Some sump rat stuff in there, more on them at my deviant art.
totally ready to be edited however you want, recolor, revise, recycle, idc, just lemme know when you do so i can see!
Link to the DeviantART that has the full res tileset
it's a huge tile sheet. not compatible with any png tile map maker. but it's easy enough to break it up and take what you want and slot it into your own tilesets. you'll probably wanna touch up colors to match your own stuff anyways.
all tiles are public and free.

Starter selection with moving NPC and player boundaries active
I'm trying to have two different NPC's moving while the player can start the starter select. Also, to limit where the player can go while starter select is active there are events that prevent the player from leaving the room. I'm using parallel process to do so, but after the first set of movements it prioritizes them in a left to right order.

First NPCs move pattern, left most one.

Second NPc's move pattern, right one.

Preventing player from moving event. This one is not parallel processed, but I don't know why the players move route would be effected by what either NPC is doing.

Hey, for the past 6 months I've been creating (through word) a sequel to Pokemon Sword and Shield, however I just yesterday decided to actually make it. First time ever using RPG Maker and Pokemon Essentials. Any way I can block off the back side of the two hills to stop the player from walking there. There isn't anything in the base that looks good. It there a different tileset I should use?

Glaciost & Saberrime (ICE/GHOST)
When enough kids wish something existed bad enough, and that thing wishes it existed too, you get the egregore called Glaciost. It's the manifestation of the will to survive. Originally descended from the same line of large felinid-like pokemon that eventually branched into the species that became Raikou, this pokemon went extinct long before any substantial changes were made to it's fellow members of it's lineage. When kids read about prehistoric pokemon, such as Shieldon, Arhceops, or Aerodactyl, they often find themselves fond of Glaciost and Saberrime. Glaciost is not one to be left out. It manifested itself back into existence and now occupies the snowy mountains and icy caves of the world.
- Intended to be a ghostly wall that can chip away at the enemy while the user figures out what to do. Though by the time Saberrime is fully grown, it could definitely find it's way into an E4 lineup if paired with the right mons.
- Front/back/icon sprites with shinies
- PBS scripts for the pokemon
- Design document

Just a few screenshots from Chapter 3. I'm hard at work on it! There's plenty of new story content and some visual improvements, so much to look forward to!
Sadly I do not have a release date yet. Please stay tuned!

Because you know, the best course of action when you have tons of uni assignments to do is to boot up RPG Maker. Tried to mostly stick with the base FRLG tileset where I could, but it didn't work as well as I'd have liked it to, so I ended up making a red variant of the house (with colours picked from elsewhere in the tileset) and a darker variant of the trees to fill up that empty space without it feeling too random. I made the map with Snap Edges in mind, so I haven't accounted for the buffer. To be honest, I'm quite the fan of Snap Edges, I feel like it makes maps feel quite cozy and more standard RPG-style.
I was thinking that the gate wouldn't actually be a gate with an interior and everything, but just teleport the player to the Route 1 map. I experimented with using the water cliff tile things as really short cliff tiles and I think it worked out. The collision might be a problem, but I tried to place things where you'd otherwise be able to move above them to stop it. It isn’t that faithful to the original, even if a lot of that’s from the tileset, and I’m not too proud of how I did the flowers and other decor to the south, not to mention the map could definitely use a few more finishing touches, but I figure it still looks passable enough. I reckon it'll look better in sunset or night lighting with the rays (probably not for nighttime) and the fireflies. Recently, I've been thinking of making a short, 1-Gym-long demake of some region as a short game/proof of concept/vertical slice/way to hone my skills a little/whatever you want to call it. I might do that, idk.

Seasons, moon, sun sprites have be scaled down by half because Reddit doesn't allow smaller pictures. Feel free to use.
Second layout is used in debug mode while creating the game as there are more icons.
Important note: This layout does not include a separate icon for the Pokégear.

Hey everyone! I'm working on a Fakemon evolution for Marowak. I'm still developing the concept and sprites, but once it's finished, I'd like to make it publicly available for anyone to use however they want.
I'd really appreciate some feedback and help with a few things:
The front sprite's pose is heavily based on a sprite I once saw in a fangame, but I can't remember which game it was from. I've pretty much copied the pose itself. Do you think that's a problem? Would it be okay to keep it if I found the original artist and got their permission?
I want to be transparent about the use of AI. I only used it during the early brainstorming stage to explore a few rough sketch ideas. The sprites themselves were created and adjusted manually by me, pixel by pixel, and no AI-generated image is being presented as the final artwork. Since the subreddit prohibits AI content, would even this kind of limited use during the concept stage be considered a violation of the rules?
I'm thinking of calling it Phantomb and making it a Ground/Ghost type. Its weapon is based on a fossilized arm bone from Kabutops. What do you think of the name and concept?
I also feel like the sprites are still lacking some consistency. My main issue is the overworld sprite, the aura animation doesn't move very naturally. Does anyone have any feedback, know how to improve it, or have a good tutorial on animating a pixel-art aura?
If this breaks any subreddit rules, I'll remove the post. Thanks!

Decided to take a crack at making a game. I started a discord as well where i plan on giving updates/taking suggestions/finding people to help. https://discord.gg/P5DQmbJst
Included are a couple photos from most of the areas ive started creating.
The game is still very early development, it's taken a while to teach myself not only how essentials works, but also how to recolor/design tiles to look like they fit. Although it's my first game im not trying to cut corners, i'd rather take the time to make a polished game. I'm beginning to make the town with gym 1, add in all trainers battle/encounters thusfar (already planned what to put where) and give it it's first test run!

I use different types of grass on routes that may have too many Pokémon so the process of completing the dex won't be that grindy. As well as little sprites behind the Pokémon to check if they are able to be caught at night/day or both.
+ Also the region map which includes 16 badges. Gonna be fun trying to balance the game.
+ All 721 Pokémon of the first 6 gens will be in the game
Wish me luck
PS: The encounter overview has a second page with all the water encounters

Indicap Line - Design Concept:
A Fairy/Psychic line rooted in real mycology and ancient warrior culture. Indicap draws its name and dual-color palette from the indigo flower. Inspiration for it's coloring is also drawn from the *other* plant used to create the same color dye, creating an economic crisis in europe during the renaissance period, the "Woad Leaf", historically used to create woad dye that adorned Celtic warriors who consumed psilocybin before battle, believing the altered perception freed them from fear and pain.
The evolution line reflects the timeline of a hallucinogenic experience and the fairies and entities you may 'see' during your evening. Indicap spreads vivid dreams through spores, Psiloxie represents the come-up and oncoming chaos to ensue, and Woadriate becomes the embodied entity itself, a battlefield manipulator that thrives when perception is twisted.
Rather than traditional psychic attack power, this line prioritizes control, sleep moves, stat manipulation, and leverages it's unique type advantages to gain the upper hand. It can either weaponize the hallucinatory effect or provide immunity to mental manipulation entirely.
- Great against fighting types
- Biggest threat is likely to be Steel-type moves
- A B+/A- elite four contender if raised properly, tutored the right moveset, and sits alongside complimentary pokemon in the lineup.
Documentation includes deep and detailed explanations of the design choices along the way, so a dev can be sure this isn't just "ooh cute mushie mon" but a thought-out attempt at a balanced, usable fakemon.
(all sprites and documentation is public and free to use)

As the title suggests, Im currently working on a Pokemon X & Y demake inspired by the story of the manga.
The game is intended to be challenging and will include Pokemon from every generation up to Gen 9. To make the world feel more alive, detailed, and unique, Im looking for someone who can create custom tilesets for Pokemon Essentials/RMXP.
This could include anything from small details like tree stumps, plants, and decorations to larger buildings and recognizable locations from the Kalos region. There is a lot of room for creativity, and the goal is to make the environments look much more polished than what can currently be seen in the screenshots.
What you can expect:
-Work at your own pace. No pressure or deadlines.
-Feel free to contribute your own ideas and discuss them.
-You will, of course, be credited for your work.
This is a voluntary fangame project, so Im mainly looking for someone who enjoys creating Pokemon-style pixel art and would like to help bring this version Kalos to life.
Interested or questions? Feel free to contact me on Discord.

Map overlay of the first area of the Region.
PBS files done, new items implemented, maps are starting to add in by the day! Happy with the progress, looking forward to playtest until the first Gym. Just some more sprites to do, and an extra recolor/redo of the UI.
As you see, Alphamon has the Light-type, more fitting to the Digimon-style instead of the Fairy-type. This also changes around some type matchups, creating a fun, new feeling while battling as well!

I started to make a game of my own, just for fun, but I soon got overwhelmed by the sheer amount of things to learn.
Beside the great Thundaga tutorials, is there a site, like maybe a discord server, where more experienced people can help me or at least support me since im doing this solo?
I don't want to drop everything just because of this. Thank you all

WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF RUBISS** **
Explore the vast lands of Rubiss in this new Pokemon Fangame created with RPG Maker XP using Pokemon Essentials Version 21.
Hello! I'm Hiro and I am finally able to release the 4th Chapter of my game, Pokemon Shadowside. This game aims to capture a more traditional RPG experience, it completely removes the Gym Challenge that is present in a lot of Fangames and every single battle is in the Triples format.
CHAPTER 4 NEW CONTENT:
Travel through the isle of duality, split into two sides:
Sanopolis, the Land of Golden Sands
Galentine, the Cradle of Moss and Memory
Additionally, a new single battle option has been added for players that aren't as keen on triple battles.
A new achievment system has also been added to track your progress around the region of Rubiss.
OVERALL STORY:** **
Twenty years ago, the world was plunged into darkness by the most feared Trainer in Pokemon history, starting the Great Pokemon War. Many years later in a land filled with secrets, powers and visions, a new generation of Trainers rises.
Explore dangerous lands, create unbreakable bonds and uncover the truth behind the shadows threatening the world once again.
TRIPLE BATTLES:** **
With every battle being in the Triple format, there are a lot more strategies and ideas to think about:
Focus on Positioning as certain Pokemon can't hit others depending on their position in the battle
New Moves & Abilities that make support Pokemon more useful
Rotating your Pokemon around the field to avoid attacks
FEATURES:** **
All battles are in the Triples format
Terastallization
Overworld encounters
Pokemon up to Generation 9
Multiple Save Slots & Autosave
Raid Battles
BW Medal System (Achievments)
Crafting & Wild Drop Items
Sidequests
Speed Up
Several New Moves & Abilities
Several other QoL features

It would have all the sprites except the overworld walking sprites for the 3rd stage. shinies included. obviously everyone uses different border styles but i mean, instead of whipping up a new one you can just recolor these?
it would come with a full, like, explanation document, with the reasons for all the design choices and what role it serves and where the concept comes from and how the concept is reflected in it's playstyle. The whole shebang.
i mean, i'm gonna do it anways, but i'm wondering if it's something fangame devs actually look for. like good quality resuable fakemon that feel like they belong in any world.

Description from DeviantART:
"I think this completes this Relic Hunter pack. If i do more fossil related stuff i'll find a different angle.
Included:
- Map tables, Adventurer's tables
- Rope (gotta love rope sprites)
- Boxes and crates with treasure, pottery, random stuff
- Pottery
- A raised firepit (it's set up so you can animate the flickering flame in the order as it appears on the tileset, but that's on you)
- Totem with Xatu standing on Natu
- Rack with random vague tools
- Nautilus/Omanyte Flag
- Tent
- Articulated Skeleton (to me, it looks like helioptile or totodile but enlarged to show context)
- Lileep (not animated but it's a unique overworld sprite so if you wanna animated a bobbing effect, have at it)
- Sheildon (not animated but it's so simple)
- Some museum fossil pieces. Anorith, Kabuto, a vague dino looking thing, and a large piece of some toucannon bones.
- Huge rampardos skull, also likely a museum piece.
- unrealistically large squirtle skeleton that looks too cool to leave out. Might use it again in a spooky pack.
- Seviper/Ekans statues that look nice crammed together along with the little table next to them.
- Vague bone (one of them is for an item sprite if you want, and the other is for overworld that has shadow)
- A temple archway and a guardian statue (positioned to be like nicely fitting on either side of the arch.)
- Some big ole rocks.
- An artifact pedestal with swappable lamp, and gems. (ruby, sapphire, emerald, diamond, pearl) for a plug and play side quest hook.
Public and free to use, all in 32x32 at 2px density so it scales fine. If you use it, lemme know so i can play your game."
