Advice Nothing phone 3 - oppo reno 16f

Maybe is weird question, got an Nothing phone 3 and until a month or so didn't have any complaints. But has turned off randomly at least 4 or 5 times, reset it, now sometimes doesn't show the notifications properly, the glyph matrix button doesn't work very well, and more little bugs. I can access the guarantee but idk if I should get just s other or the money, but for the money the option I like is Oppo and in that budget could be oppo reno 16f.

I know the cameras could be a bit worse that the nothing.... But apart from that what you would say?? Thanks in advance 🙏🙏

iPhone 17 Pro or Pixel 10 Pro

At home: iMac, iPad, and a Fedora laptop mostly for streaming.

At office: Windows PC and Ubuntu Server

Personal phone history:

- OnePlus 3t

- OnePlus 5

- OnePlus 7

- Earlier this year when my OnePlus 7 gave out I got a Furilabs FLX1s linux phone but its not cutting it for me.

I'm used to Gmail, Google Calendars, and Google Maps and despite not wanting to admit it I use Gemini pretty frequently while I'm at work.

I prefer doing any real work on a desktop. I can't stand using a phone, when I can be using multiple monitors and mechanical keyboards. Its just a shitty experience overall.

  • My concern with Google is two things: Privacy, Video Quality, robustness especially water protection and knocks. I am often out in the elements even in very bad weather.
  • My concern with iPhone is primarily the iOS file management system and keyboard.

I am starting a nonprofit at the moment and need to manage my schedule better. But I also need to be creating content for it.

Both options go against the core values myself and the nonprofit have but like I said - Linux phone isn't cutting it. And no, I do not want to deal with installing Graphene on a Pixel either as I just don't have enough time to be tinkering around these days. I want to open up a new phone and have it do what I need it to do.

I would love to hold on to the Linux phone until the iPhone 18 comes out to get the variable aperture rumored but I have some trips coming up before then so its really between iPhone 17 Pro or Pixel 10 / Pixel 10 Pro (im also trying to figure out if for my needs there's any benefit to the Pixel 10 Pro).

TL;DR

For starting up a nonprofit that will require a lot of content creation work, scheduling, staying organized can iPhone 17 Pro keep up with the Pixel 10 Pro or will I regret not having a more open file management system and Google's AI Assistant?

I am looking for a phone (A one that could work in the middle wast and in europe)

I looked for a phone and I couldn't find noraml one but Ithen I strtedthinking about buying a Honor 600, I had a google Pixel 8a, and it went downhill with it because of the build qualitey that couldn't sustain some "not so high drops"

(it literly had a case and a screnn protector and it fel down from a hand height and I tried to save it my leg and just cracked down (I would mention that, the case wasn't the best qualitey dho)

and the phone it self didn't have the best battery and etc.

Please tell me the Cons of the Honor 600, even cons like: we can't find a case for the phone, it is a con for me , I would like to hear as long as it's true,

(By the way it was also not easy to find a case for the google pixel 8a I ended up buying a case for a very expensieve price, and it didn't hold much time)

If you can find a better phone for the same price range and for maybe a screnn size around 6"0 - 6"3.

Could be awsome thanls ahead everyone!

Honor 600 pro vs S25 plus

Both are similar price, around 600 euros in new condition in my country.

Currently I have S21 plus (snapdragon), and battery is bad. Also, my screen is little broken (vertical pink line), so changing screen and battery is not an option.

I am using phone mostly reddit, play some games, youtube (in background).

On new phone I would like to make more videos (with selfie camera also), filming my family. I am performance type guy, I like device to be smooth (I was going for oneplus 15, but is too price here).

With the S25 Plus, I have a pretty good idea of what I'm getting since I've been using Samsung for four years. I’m interested in your opinions on Honor, specifically its software and camera.

Also, I like "compact" size more on Honor

Best plan for International traveling/working for 1 person?

I travel most of the year, all over. Mostly in South America this year. I have ported my number so I can receive SMS text messages, but my phone can't receive calls. I paid to make calls on an app, but looking to change to a real phone line. Some apps don't accept VoIP phone numbers like Google Voice.

So I'm looking for a phone plan with a good international plan. I tried Mint, but they only offer packages on top of the monthly subscription price. T-Mobile is good, except I'm only one person on one line, I don't want to buy the 4+ line option. US Mobile is the best one I've seen, but I'm still unsure if it will provide international coverage that I need.

I've been using eSIMs and not purchasing data to save money. The only reason I'm searching for a real phone line is I'm hoping to get a remote job and make/receive calls without hassle. Any advice?

Edit: If staying off a phone plan is possible, that would be ideal. I just have not found a way to be able to send/receive calls on the same number internationally. I do not need a bunch of GBs, I need an affordable and reliable way to make/receive phone calls while abroad.

Looking for a Headphone Jack in the Big 26

Hi Reddit!

I'm in search of a new-ish (fine with used) CDMA model 5G phone that comes with a headphone jack. All of my searches have led me to a Motorola...

...but I already have one. It's a 2024 Motorola Moto G Power and it's been my workhorse; but I've noticed it's slowing down, the battery's draining faster, it's stuttering, and I don't get reception in ~80% of the places in my small town. My mother's been pressuring me to get something that latches onto more networks, but I'm unwilling to part with the ability to use wired headphones. Wireless charging with a dongle in the USB-C slot is a non-starter.

So if you have any recommendations, PLEASE let me know! Thanks!

TL;DR: Want new-ish phone with a headphone jack.

Need advice in changing a phone

Hello everyone, i got a poco f7 some days ago to change my Samsung a33 with, performance wise its been perfect but i dont really like the camera even tho i can see a slight improvement, i got It for kinda cheap so im considering selling and i was eyeballing the mi 14 or the 15t as a replacement w Better camera without sacrificing performance too much. The problema u have w the 14 Is the kinda small screen but mostly the fact that Is 3 years old and in planning to keep It for some years at least. The 15t Is newer but i saw that the camera Is not as good and that i should go for the old flagship anyway.

I have not considered other phones mostly because i dont know where to look ad i have a small budget( i can get both used for around 280 for the 14 and 30 for the 15t), so im open for suggestions in that range given i Will have to sell the f7 for a good price to get It and so i have to evaluate the convenience of It.

To give context I'm not a particularly heavy gamer I bought the f7 because a grew tired of the slowness of the old phone and maybe I got biased in my searching, and disregarded the camera situation too much, but it is what it is.

Any suggestion?

New phone needed! My Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 is coming to the end of its usefulness (my banking app won't work soon). I take photos and use the usual apps (no gaming). What's my best option in the UK for under 500 pounds?

Phone recommendations, please :)

Hey! I currently have a 5 year old Vivo Y36. Everything is great for its age but the camera is awful. It's gotten so bad over the years and I don't know if it's because I damaged it because I have dropped it a couple of times, or if it's becusse of updates. I bought an iPhone 16e to try but it was awful, it got so hot the first week (I exchanged it again and the same so I returned it).

I'm going on student exchange end of September and would really love a new phone, mainly for the camera, to capture good memories but I also need it to have good performance and battery becusse I do use it frequently.

I have gown down a rabbit hole looking at all kinds of different phones. I've looked at different iPhones, and high end Androids (Samsung Galaxy, Vivo x200, etc) but I'm still unsure because there's always some negative comment. I wanted to try the Google Pixel 9a (or maybe 9-10) for its good camera but I've seen many people complain about the battery and performance, especially after updates. So I'm just lost at this point.

What I need is:

- Good camera for pictures and videos (iPhone level if possible, if you also have Android recs)

- Good battery and overall performance

- Physical SIM slot

- Ideally one that doesn't go too bad after updates (if such a phone exists)

- Budget 600€ but I could maybe stretch to 700€, even though I find it ridiculous paying so much for a phone.

- Will last minimum 4-5 years

Is there such a phone? I really would appreciate some guidance. You can recommend Android or iPhone, even though I'm not very happy with iPhones at the minute but I'll take any advice.

Thank youuu

Moving to iphone

Ok so I’m 16 and I sound dumb but for christmas this year what would be a good iphone to ask for? I can’t find a job near school so christmas is the only time I get expensive-ish presents. I’m currently using an s10 which while bearable isn’t equipped for daily use especially charging fully twice a day. I’m used to ios devices as I have an ipad for school and 3 ipod touches (2, 4, 6,). I’m lower middle class so I need something that will last a long time and not require upkeep, lasts a whole day, has a good camera and is durable. I’m looking into the iphone 16 mainly because It’s recent and relatively cheap. Are there any other models I should look into?
