For some context, this was in my original playthrough of p5r, and I was already in a relationship with haru. So I had to make the unfortunate choice to reject ann, at her lowest point too. 😭

I actually feel bad now. Maybe in a future playthrough, i'll do her romance arc. Still this is really sad :(

I've never even been to Japan IRL and I know about it. Why doesn't Joker?

This dude says absolutely nothing of value in his monologues and every citizen is like "holy shit this guy is a real politician he must lead our country right NOW"

Just constant vague phrases "Our country must change!" or "Crime must be punished!" that don't lead to any solution or real strategy to actually make a change.

I haven't seen his palace yet and he hasn't been a major character so far, but judging from his actions in the flashback he's clearly not the wisest guy around. For now I'm assuming that his speeches are intentionally meaningless to show how easily people will gather behind a leader as long as they're eloquent and charismatic.

I can't wait to see his demise because he's looking like an absolute clown right now. Hopefully I didn't jinx myself and he turns out to actually be a super competent mastermind...

Sumire might go to useless bum tier because I cannot remember if she was actually a part of the PT going after that dude who wanted Joker gone or not, rest I think is self explanatory.

Never played a single Persona game. Always thought they looked/played weird, and never thought it’d be my style. Gave this one a chance off recommendations, and I REALLY took my time with it.

10/10 game. Don’t even know what to do with myself now that it’s over.

Persona 5 essentially gives you two trios:

Shujin Trio: Joker, Ann and Ryuji
Royal Trio: Joker, Akechi and Yoshizawa

(Morgana comes either way so no point mentioning him)

So, which one do you prefer? I don't know if this counts as a hot-take but I prefer the Shujin because they are close friends with better internal dynamics while Royal Trio were never friends in canon beyond Atlus marketing.

Finally finished and Platinumued P5R and idk how but I managed to do it under 70 hours damn I was fast boi I really had fun playing it I think I cried a little bit in the end I got the true ending btw I had max stats 99 lvl party members 6 mil yen and fully maxed confidants. It was a blast to play this journey im omw to download persona 5 strikers rn see you later

Not sure how relevant/interesting this is, but for any other freaks out there like me who find this kind of stuff interesting, I've recently come across an european ps4 promo disc of Persona 5, and from a little bit of research, I couldn't find any mention of this packaging across the internet. I've found images of the disc itself, but not of the case, so posting it here for posteriority. If you've been losing sleep over the existence of this, rest assured it does exist.

I read somewhere DLC personas are personas of previous protagonists, so maybe Persona 6 will have Arsene as DLC persona

So i'm like 3 dungeons deep into this fantabulous game! but one question has been itching away at the back of my mind, Morgana! the loveable walking talking feline compadre we all know and love by this point in the game! Does he eat cat food? does he use the bathroom like a person? while in the normal world he looks like a cat, he does talk and claim for the most part he is in fact a human, in additon to this we know he likes sushi and makes comments on the big bang burger! and no litter trays are shown, therefore is everyone just ok with the fact this cat is using the bathroom in the coffee shop and eating like a regular ol joe

Since each character is limited to only two other characters they can have a showtime attack with (with akechi and sumire only having one) which characters would you have liked to have seen perform a showtime attack together?

Followup, what would you have wanted the showtime attack with this pairing to have looked like?

My curiosity about this first started when I was thinking about why Akechi didn't have a showtime with Sumire so that all the royal trio had a showtime with one another
