I’ve only played the game in Japanese, so I’m curious to see how the following parts are phrased in the English version.
(How is the "grand finale" of the hot pot—the final dish prepared using the remaining broth—described in the story? Hot pot is a very Japanese concept, and in the Japanese version, Yusuke is incredibly particular about this final stage of the meal.)
(I wonder how that’s described. It shows up in Ryuji and Yusuke’s "Showtime" segment, too.)
If there are any other parts that made you think, "Huh?", please let me know.

Any Opinions on presentation of teachers in anime.
Kawakami and Kamoshida are fitting examples for teachers.

One of the biggest things I’ve noticed people point out about 5’s awakenings is how painful most of them look in comparison to 3 or especially 4 but I think this makes sense when you consider what the characters from the former games go through and realize those are pretty painful too.
4 is the easier of the two to understand. There is a very much mental pain of being confronted by ”your true self” or what effectively devolves into an accumulation of your dark thoughts. None of the characters with shadows want to accept them at first and are all clearly mentally hurt listening to them. Every party member goes through this, and Yu himself also has to in the anime. in game he’s given his persona earlier intentionally.
im 3, Personas are effectively scared out, as evokers are meant to push the user over the edge into summoning them. however every character naturally awakens to a second persons through more pain. the pain of losing a loved one and then needing to learn how to move on. Only then does their Persona seem to more naturally evolve in a way.
in 5 they are much more visually painful because the user awakening is dealing with both a lot of pent up anger and what’s implied to be a shadow all at once. Futaba appears to be noticably much less so than the others because she naturally accepted her shadow self. the others seemingly had to do so in the midst of awakening (hence the same glowing yellow eyes shadow self’s spot) so of course it’s gonna be a lot harder to do at first
a lot of rambling but presuming this was the intention I find it pretty neat

Found it a bit off putting.

It took me months but I'm really happy with how they all turned out! The torsos, legs and heads are Lego pieces with UV printed details. The hair/mask pieces are 3d printed, painted with Army Painter miniature paints, then sealed with UV gel nail polish.
The most difficult part for me was painting the masks that aren't just solid colors. I simplified the designs of them because I just couldn't paint those tiny details. If I were to make them again I think I'd try to paint them with the base color and then use UV printing for the details.
There are a few things that aren't quite right. Ann and Futaba's gloves aren't the right color because I didn't have any minifigures for that on hand. I struggled to get Haru's feather to stay in place and put excessive amounts of nail polish on, masking the feathers details.
But I'm largely happy with this project! If anyone wants further details on how I made them, I'm happy to share.

It’s honestly crazy to me how hypocritical people are. So many players completely ignore the fact that you can literally romance your high school teacher (Kawakami) or a literal adult journalist (Ohya), but the moment someone chooses Futaba—a girl who is only a year younger than Ren—people start throwing extreme labels around. Even Kasumi is a first-year student, yet no one loses their mind over her.
Personally, I chose Futaba because I deeply relate to her character and see a lot of myself in her struggle. Her growth, her loyalty, and her bond with Ren feel genuine.
Why can’t people just let others enjoy their romance choices in a single-player game without turned-off brain moralizing?

Apparently it was found in the game files and honestly I’m excited. Fortnite have done well with collabs recently so we should hopefully be getting items that actually look accurate.

Saw this on my NG+ merciless run. Apparently before you enter Kamoshida's palace, this is how it looks.

11 days left and saved right before shido's boss fight. Made it through to the final stage of the fight and he finishes me off right before I could land a finishing blow. My persona heavy hitters are Raoul, Izanagi Pic., Gabriel, and Kaguy Pic. Im wasting too much SP and gradually ran out of healing items. Any recommendations for making it through this battle of attrition? Izanagi Pic, raoul, and Gabriel all have someone form of repel or null physical.

I've been stuck on Sae Niijima's fight for a while now, and after finally figuring out the whole gimmick (affinities and such) out I died whilst I was one hit away. I just need overall suggestions, what persona's to use, what party members to use, etc.

I can't stress enough how much this game has changed my life literally peak and probably the best game I've ever played. I just finished the platinum and wanted to know.
Is new game plus worth it? This game is peak trust me, but I don't think I'll ever re-experience what this game has to offer, what do you guys think?

Persona 5 essentially gives you two trios:
Shujin Trio: Joker, Ann and Ryuji
Royal Trio: Joker, Akechi and Yoshizawa
(Morgana comes either way so no point mentioning him)
So, which one do you prefer? I don't know if this counts as a hot-take but I prefer the Shujin because they are close friends with better internal dynamics while Royal Trio were never friends in canon beyond Atlus marketing.

I’ve been trying to defeat Okumura’s palace all day and eventually just gave up and finally switched my game mode to safe. I was wondering how much different this will affect my gameplay. I know it just makes the battles easier, but does anything else change?

I've never even been to Japan IRL and I know about it. Why doesn't Joker?

I’ve made it towards the end of Maderame’s palace for the first time and I really haven’t felt a need to use Yusuke once, his persona abilities are pretty bad considering I mostly use Saki Mitama on Joker and he has the same frost attack with a hell of a lot more, Morgana is stacked with wind spells which really dissuades me from dropping him, Ann is also way too valuable to drop, and Ryuji has more health + the one electric ability. Am I doing something wrong or does he just become more useful later?
