I just don't see why they had to add a romantica element to Carter/Reese right before she dies. It was so contrived and unnecessary. There wasn't anything leading up to it and was just jammed down our throats at the last second to make her death seemingly more impactful.

This is the first time I watch POI and currently watching S03E03: Lady Killer. It cracks me up to see how excited Shaw to show her pistol and Carter also admires it, even Shaw tells Carter she can borrow it anytime, LMAO. I think this is the first time I see Shaw being not so serious 😂

Looking forward to see how she integrates with the team!

I finally finished Person of Interest, and I'm so glad I gave it a chance. The series keeps evolving and gets better as it goes. I was really impressed by storytelling, and how well everything was planned across the entire series. Definitely one of the best show I've watched behind (BCS, BB, Ozark)

I forgot that this episode starts with Johnny Cash's version of Hurt. Such a powerful song. As it played and we watch Shaw and Reece tracking Simmons, I couldn't help but also see in my mind the images of Johnny Cash in the music video. If you haven't seen the music video I encourage you to go to YouTube and watch the video for this song It is such an impactful song with a very moving video.

I've been grieving Detective Carter's death since it happened, and I'm a complete newcomer to this series. The show felt so heavy after her demise that I even stepped away for a few days, convinced they'd pull a cheap stunt and make it a dream sequence. For a while, John's screen time was reduced until he was fully operational again, which, if I recall correctly, was after Harold found him in Italy and get him a new suit. That's when I felt ready to see him back in action. But then Samaritan went live, and during their undercover work, I was stunned BECAUSE John ended up in Homicide, at Carter's desk, partnering with FUSCO. And then, in S4:E5, this particular line brought back my grief, aching for her absence. I don't want to feel sad alone. 🥲

I am starting season 3. As I said it’s first time watching. But I was just wondering right now, why did the machine not give out John’s number when he was shot by the CIA? 🤔

What happened to the Ordos Laptop after Greer and Decima acquired the code inside it? Did they hold onto it in case they needed to utilize it or the embedded code to aquire data or did they just destroy it after aquiring what they found and or needed?

Edit: I am also working on part 2 for my fanfic of the HR vs Decima storyline. Should almost have a plot written up for it soon.

Last month, I watched POI for the very first time. I was completely in awe and started my rewatch right away. I'm obsessed with this show, and it's all I can talk about 😅

So obviously, I recommend it to everyone I talk to (to be fair: I haven't talked to a lot of people these past few weeks, because I'm too busy watching this gem of a show 😍)

But to my surprise (or should I say: dismay), all I get are very underwhelmed responses 🤔 "I watched three episodes, but I don't understand why you like this show... it's so boring" or "how can you watch this TWICE? It's really bad tv." 😳😧

I just don't know how to react 😳😂 It makes me rethink my friendships... (jk).

Just finished watching POI. One thing I couldn’t understand how the machine managed to create its own clone in the last episode and contact Shaw. They didn’t show it had created like Samaritan or they just showed it for continuity. Really hope they come with a new season :)

Just like the last time this happened a few months ago, and a few months before that, every now and then someone in this community appears to buy a Bot wave of some sort.

For the genuine new comers in this Subreddit, this Subreddit is long dead, it's quite an inactive Subreddit and every now and then I suspect dedicated fan or mod that runs the show here seems to buy some sort bot package.

If you click your post insights or comment insights, you'll see the majority of traffic is coming out of India this month, very unusual for this Subreddit but there's a ton of bots based out of India swamping this Subreddit

The whole method is to produce the fake appearance of an active Subreddit, an active community, because then it naturally brings in others that think there's more activity here than there actually is.

Make no mistake, this is a dead Subreddit, kept alive by life support, that seemly gets bursts of bot waves.

Am I the only one who loves the way Greer says, “My dear Sameen”? John Nolan’s delivery is just perfect. It’s calm but sinister, and oddly charming at the same time.

In my pursuit of finding the real name of Harold Finch, I found out from the episode 11 of season 3 that Harold is his first real name because his dad called him that.

HAROLD - real first name.

Real mystery is in his last name which are all derived by bird names, none of it is real. HAROLD himself says in s4e21 that "I go by many names. All derived from species of birds." I stumbled upon his dad's death certificate when machine told him sorry for his loss on 25th Death anniversary. But turns out name is hidden and mostly it's too blurry. I made out the last 2 letters of his father's last name is "*AS" from certificate, photo attached. Iowa has many families of German, English, Irish, Scandinavian, and some Greek and Hispanic ancestry, so surnames ending in -as that we might encounter include:

Thomas, Pappas, Karas, Rosas, Arenas, Costas, Vallas, Kallas

Since this is a 1981 Iowa death certificate, Thomas is probably the most common surname. So..... drumroll ......

Real name : HAROLD THOMAS

Rewatch this episode again and tell me if it doesn't have the best one liners. All the high school talk, and the shoot out in the chemistry lab.
