Fishing in this game feels like it's in a bizarre proto-rewarding state. Sure, you get a lot of loot like high tier schematics, but the pool of pals you can get from fishing feels absolutely awful with literally all available pals being available elsewhere.

Low tier holes are fine, they're an intro to the mechanic

You move up to holes around the volcano, you get Kelpsea Ignis(which already spawn on the very same island)

You hit Feybreak, and you STILL fish up Kelpsea Ignis, with the occasional Ghangler(also spawns on volcano island in the north) or Whalaska(spawns north of the desert, with an Alpha north of the snow biome)

You move up to Sunreach, and you have exactly three(four if you count subspecies) pals in the fishing pool: Solmora/lux(spawns in the overworld), Gloopie Primo(spawns in the overworld, and even on the mainland in dungeons), Scutlass(spawns in the overworld and on the mainland)

Even when you hit the World Tree, it's STILL Gloopie Primo and Solmora Lux, with Scutlass swapped out for Whalaska Ignis(again, spawns commonly in the overworld)

I don't know if it's a me problem or what, but it feels unsatisfying for fishing to be purely a means to get loot or passives to put onto OTHER pals. All Pocketpair really needed to do is make a few pals exclusive to fishing and it would feel more reliable

I moved on from my Giga Palgoda in the previous update and started a whole new 1.0 playthrough. Finished the last boss and started focusing on building this thing. Always wanted to build a boat in palworld now the new update made it possible! I hope to see more updates on the building in the future.

So here are some shots, the basement is not yet finished. It's where the crops are grown and future storage will be transferred there.

It's really wasteful and kinda annoying when you have something like a cryo pal like Bastigor for example ignoring everything just because you assign him to cryo cruncher, but if you remove the assignment he'll either spend all his time cooling something or just endlessly mine etc

The priorities of the work pals could use some work still in general imo, but assignment should just be priority work rather than the only work

Also I feel like maybe quarries and logging sites should have some kind of internal cooldown for pals so they don't exclusively work on those when they have other work availabilities, it feels very underwhelming when you get a pal that has a lot of potential to do a lot of things but the reality is that they're only ever gonna operate one or two facility and even then they probably need you to deactivate some work manually at times

Clean structures used to color the entire structure when you painted them, but they no longer do that instead opting to keep the black bar at the bottom, it makes builds like these look far worse and there’s not really a good alternative for them.

After 70 wonderfull hours it is time to say goodbye. 10/10 game.

Croajiro (Noct) perfect 100/100/100 is my absolute goodest boy. The only issue is that his trust level still is not fully maxed out. Honestly, perhaps that is for the best. For all I know, I am not his beloved tamer at all; I might simply be the prey he is patiently waiting to stab in the middle of the night. Sleeping with one eye open is worth it tho.

After finishing the game, I saw a beautifully designed megabase on this sub and got super inspired. Despite having zero architectural skills, I spent hours trying to build a layout that fits 4 bases side-by-side.

Yes, I know it looks like it was designed by a 3rd grader, but I promise I'm 30. Please be gentle with my masterpiece! 😂

So... I don't know how many people knows about this but in Brazilian Portuguese Palworld is the target of many jokes just because of its name.

It's super soft and friendly to call monters your Pals. But in Portuguese it has a COMPLETELY different meaning.

You see... Penis is the main name, but Pau is the slang term for it. Pau would be the direct translation to Dick. In which, it has the same pronunciation as Pal, specially if you're not using English accent for the word.

So, if your Brazilian friend starts to giggle on a server because they've seen Pal Fluids... That's why.

Last week, a friend of mine asked what I was playing and I've replied Palworld. He then immediately returned Dickworld.

It is a recurring joke. Just think about all the many different applications. There is Fire Pals, Flying Pals, Big Pals, Small Pals, Spiky Pals...

And it gets hilarious to say it out loud "THAT IS MY PAL".
