Is that you never actually get gear as gifts, only schematics. Beating a boss and in return getting a schematic for a weapon for which I need a computer, for which I need another thing, and another thing, and an hour to set it up all up, and in another 10 levels it won't be relevant anyway.

I know some people enjoy the base building and technology stuff probably a lot more but I wish I just got cool stuff sometimes

Why the hell is my musket taking like 10 minutes to make? Everywhere I looked online, I found no comparison to this shit… is this a bug?

Starting a new save and I’m running default egg incubation this time. I’ve always played with instant egg hatching on and I wanna try to not be so cheesy with hatching… but how do yall do this shit for real like I just unlocked the incubator and already have SO MANY eggs from exploring, on top of when you start breeding and you come back to base with 10 eggs sitting your breeding farm plus grintale doubling eggs…like that has to take forever!? 30mins plus per egg?! Yall fr sit around with a stockpile of 50 eggs or something waiting their turned to be hatched? Or do you just got like 20 fkn incubators around your base or what? Like their isn’t really ways to speed it up other than making it the right temperature correct? And even then it’s still what like 30 mins for a huge egg? Whats the secret to be pumping them eggs out !?

In short, they have been and are awful. Buggy terrible ai, no collision, no effort. 20 human enemies that not only see you through walls, but melee you through them as you attempt to crawl through narrow corridors. Half spawning high level pals that will nuke you with a laser through these same walls. Accompanied by your own AI, which wont even be able to walk through the place cause it gets stuck on corners. Unable to target enemies through walls, you are royally f'd.

Its just a buggy shitshow in these things. They shouldve listened to feedback years ago but ig they dont care. Here I am still hoping.

Breeding dummud gilds will net you gold to buy a surplus of whatever pal materials you need aside from horns and cotton candy variants, kind of takes the fun out of ranching, but it feels like there is no reason too when dummud gilds are worth so much and so easy to make

I've heard a lot of good things about palworld from my friends, but I just never felt particularly excited for it. I came to ask if anyone would genuinely recommend it with the knowledge of the other survival games I play. Predominantly, the most time I've sunk into a survival game is Terraria/T-Mod, followed by Conan Exiles, and while I haven't sunk as many hours into it, I really enjoyed Sons Of The Forest. The big thing that pushed me away from it was just predominantly the designs, which feel a bit less interesting or inspired than some other games

Still fun still love building but is anyone else an elitist? I don’t want to change to many settings in my server. So my question to everyone is, has anyone effectively ran a base with only 20 pals

I mean it’s just so much to do at a base at any given time that it just doesn’t seem possible to me. And I’m definitely referring to like mid late game I need atleast 10 pals in a ranch just to keep enough batteries up to progress. If anyone has made just the 20 pals work plz help me to understand how thanks

I'm playing on ps5. Exploring the map feels a bit disorienting and I feel like some stuff is missing that could be a huge plus for those who love exploring:

- Area names. I have no idea where I am or where to go because there are no names.

- Area level indications and better level distribution. I don't actually get why some areas far away from the starter area are very low level with really fragile pals, and also why are there lv 20 pals mixed with lv 50 pals? The same for bosses, it feels all mixed and weird. There could be a better distribution but also an indication in the map of the average level of that area.

- Minimap. I'd like to see where I'm heading and spots of interest without having to constantly open the map.

- Markers. They could have other qols such as tracking them.

I'm midgame and I really need oil for the ingots but everytime I make an oil extractor it uses up all my electricity. Any tips?

It was a hell of an experience, 259.9hours in fact lol, and it took 330 in game days, I don’t know what to feel lol been playing live service games for so long, that this feels like a genuine accomplishment, I guess Ill move on from now, find new Games to play but Palworld will always have a special place in my heart.

The default setting is too low to actually automate everything you need to automate, leaving you with a lot of manual grinding that takes up too much time. And the max possible setting of 50 pals per base seems too op, unless you want everything on a single mega base.

Does anyone have a sweet spot inbetween? So you still need specialized bases and have enough pals to do the work?

So does everyone else’s coal sulfur and quartz mines feel useless? Made a mining base specifically for pals to go at these builds + an ore mining site and the amount of ores im getting are never going to be enough to keep up. Worth tearing down the base and building near natural spawns?

New to the game. Loving it. But Daedream can't be recall to the Pok3b4ll (DON'T SUE ME N1NT3ND0) and they are clogging my screen constantly. It's annoying. Wish there was a way to zoom out cammera like in monster hunter. How do you guys/girls deal with this?
