I have a PS5 pro, managed to grab an edge today for £122 (38% off RRP) brand new from a reputable retailer (box just damaged).

I just purchased this on impulse as there were just 2 in stock. so wanted to know people who have them or have used them, it is worth the extra £? Or should I just sell/return and keep using my standard controller?

Given the recent news on all digital. PS5 Pro could likely my last, or if not, going to try get many years out of it and finally get through my back catalogue before upgrading to a Pro in like 7 years.

So excited to get to play it on PS5 pro. Walmart still had launch editions available so I grabbed one.

Running balanced mode for sure.

Not official PlayStation cover cause they simply dont exist for the Pro for some reason, but ive been wanting a coloured cover for a while now and found a 3rd Party that sells them in this beautiful red. And yes, it has a disc drive as well.

Pair that with my Volcanic Red controller, and it looks like a matching set.

What route did you end up taking?
Did you sell your PS5 yourself (Facebook Marketplace, eBay, etc.), trade it in at GameStop or another store, or even sell it to a pawn shop?
I’m curious what worked best for you and how much you were able to get back for your standard PS5 to help pay for the Pro.

USwalmart.com- Walmart is selling brand new pulse explorers as “open box”. Not sure why they’re doing it this way. But if you missed Walmart $99 sale on these don’t hesitate now! As of this am there are 3left and most likely will have more! Edit: paired super easy to my PRO. I like that it can be connected to my phone and console simultaneously.

I only played for an hour with the original in the ps3 era and stopped because it was giving me horrible motion sickness. Apparently the ps3 version had horrible frame pacing, that dipped regularly to 20 fps. Now we have this glorious version of the game, 60 fps, beautiful RTGI and HDR and I’m kinda glad I waited to play it this way. This game is on the money.

This may seem silly, but BF6 has proven a great showcase for the Pro's capabilities. I barely bought the Pro to play shooters on, but felt compelled to share, as it's really pulled me in.

The crispness the new PSSR affords fast-moving visuals, alongside the GPU's strength in rasterization geometry-wise lands the Performance mode's framerate in a real sweet spot for me.

I had imagined genuine competency at BF6 as something more attainable for PC folks, but I've actually felt myself improve skills in crossplay in ways I hadn't on lesser consoles. Today's naval map update was a cool reminder - despite a ton of detail & size, it frankly played without a hitch.

I guess I'm reflecting on the nice intersection of the Pro's sleeper build & the gameplay "simplicity," which have made an otherwise uncompelling title pretty accessible. The game is far from perfect.. but there's enough depth in this context I've found myself putting hours in.

I have been playing on the base PS5 since 2021. I recently got a PS5 Pro. I've seen many people say on this subreddit that if you don't have a 120Hz TV, that you can barely notice the difference from the base PS5.

Let me tell you that the difference, even on a 60Hz TV is day and night.

Obviously the 120Hz TV makes the console even better. I will upgrade my TV on Black Friday most likely.

I haven’t played on a PlayStation in 10 years. I recently bought a PS5 Pro, and I’m having a hard time aiming smoothly with the analog sticks in FPS games. My aim feels jerky and inconsistent, and I struggle to make small, precise adjustments.

Are there any recommended PS5 controller settings.

Finally back in the PlayStation ecosystem! Just snagged a PS5 Pro for GTA VI release day. I’ve been rocking an Xbox Series X since week one, but my heart never forgot how much I loved my old PS3. Broke it in with AC Black Flag: Resynced—so hyped to be back!

I’ve been wanting a ps5 pro for over a year now. I have the base model which was good enough, but I wanted to upgrade since I bought a 4k mini led monitor. I was fishing around for a secondary console and almost spend 800 on a ps5 pro with no controller until I broaden my offer up radius miles and low and behold I found this deal a hour away he agreed to meet me halfway for 760! It came with a ps5 pro, two controllers, atrix dual dock, black shark V3 X Hs razor headset , and to top it off I check the storage and there was seagate firecuda 530 1tb applied to the console so I have a little less then 3tb. I can’t believe how much this guy hooked me up for only 760!! A ps5 pro alone is 900+tax. How much did I save ? What games do yall recommended to take advantage of my new system!?
