Hey guys,
I´m currently looking to buy an Insignia but I´m honestly really torn on which gen to get.
I like both the Insignia A before and after Facelift and the Insignia B right after,
I´m looking in the same price range for all of them but I don´t know how I want to prioritize which one I should get because they all have their pros and cons and they all look good
Although the post face lift insignia a looks the nicest but the insignia b has the most potential

Hello good afternoon, I have an Astra J 2015 1.6 CDTI which I got for the first time a check engine light after revving at 2500rpm, which I felt like something went wrong and then the car lost power, had to use maximum 5th gear for it, this problem has never happened to me, even yesterday I was able to do 4000rpm approximately on 3rd and 2800rpm on 4th (this to enter the autobahn, you either wait or hurry up if there's a truck behind), but today which was normal (I usually change between 2000 and 2500, the car did that abnormal thing and the check engine light lighted up, idk what could be, after letting it park for 3 hours I feel the car reacting like nothing happened, but the check light engine still on, on Friday since I need a oil change I will tell the mechanic to check what happened via OBD2, but anyone has faced the same issue?

It is a 1.7 cdti. I’ve had a stage 1 remap so it performs a bit better than standard.
Loads and loads of mods both inside and out.
Let me know what you think.

Hello everyone - this is just a nice-to-be-here post.
After driving my 2006 Mazda 3 (1.4, 84hp) for 20 years and 290k kms, I bought this 2011 Astra J 1.4 140hp (180k kms).
It is in good shape for a 15 year old car, it already has a good LPG system installed (saving me the trouble to fit it myself) and I can only hope it will last me the next 5 years as well as the Mazda did... :-)
The next few days I will be adjusting to the differences between the two cars - right now, I can sum it up as "snappier, snugglier, more complicated electronics" 😋

Bonjour à tous, j'ai une Opel Astra GTC (J) 2.0
(165cv)

I had crash today due to bald tires which led me to crash into a hill, i was lucky to land into soft dirt.
After coming to my sense i saw white smoke coming from under the hood and it stoped.
We pulled it from earth and saw Antifreeze(coolant) coming from under the car.
How do i check if it is radiator or simply a hose and also what is this part.

Hey guys, I need some help identifying the screen on my Astra K 2019. The screen is completely dead; I can't even see anything when I shine a flashlight on it. But the radio works, and so does the navigation, which means I can see the compass. I need to find the right replacement screen size. Here's a photo of it. I'm located in Germany. I would really appreciate it if you could send me some links to where I can buy them. I don't want OEM; aftermarket is also good.
Thanks for all the help.
Have a nice day guys.

Hi!
For the past few weeks maybe months, my Opel Astra Sports Tourer K (2016, petrol, automatic, 144000km) has been making knocking noises whilst driving. This happens more often when driving over bumps in the road and only whilst driving – not when the car is stationary. My mechanic reckons it might be the stabiliser links. He’s not entirely sure, though. Have any of you had experience with this? Could it also be a total write-off?

Hello everyone,
I am trying to diagnose a persistent 6-degree throttle position bounce/spike on a 2014 Opel Corsa D (A12XER engine, Bosch ECU/Throttle system).
The Symptom:
Tests Performed So Far:
Current Hypothesis: Could this be an air dynamics/pneumatic backpressure issue inside the intake manifold (high vacuum pulse pushing the plate), an alternator voltage regulator ripple during sudden RPM drop, or a known Bosch ECU dashpot/anti-stall routine bug for this engine?
Has anyone encountered a similar TPS bounce or MAP spike on the A12XER / Z12XEP engines? Any diagnostic tips or logging parameters you would recommend checking?
Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone,
I have been searching for a service manual for my car everywhere, however I can not find it. Free Web sites like lemon-manuals doesn't have it. I would be super happy if someone send it to me or direct me to how to find it.
My car details: Opel HatchBack Astra J 2015, 1.6 Benzin, Motor model: B16XER

Hi everyone, I have an Opel Vectra C 2005 with a 1.9 CDTI 110 kW engine. I have a problem with coolant disappearing, but I cannot find a clear external leak. Sometimes I notice a small amount of coolant leaking on the ground. There is no big white smokes. When the engine is cold and I open the coolant cap, sometimes I can hear a small "psss" There are some bubbles in the expansion tank. I am wondering if this could be a head gasket problem, EGR cooler, thermostat housing, water pump, or something else. What would you check first? Is a CO2/block test the best next step?

Hi! I’m considering buying a 2004 Opel Astra Bertone Cabrio 1.8 Z18XE with 174,000 km for €1,800.
It’s had one owner from new, has a good service history, the engine and gearbox work well, the clutch feels fine, and the body/interior are in very good condition for its age.
The only real issue is that the electric roof doesn’t work. Everything else seems to be fine.
I’m looking for a reliable weekend/daily car that I can maintain myself and maybe improve a little bit with the time.
Would you buy it for €1,800?
Is the roof something that’s usually an easy fix, or is it likely to become an expensive headache?
Any common issues with the Z18XE or the Bertone Cabrio that I should know about?
Thanks!
