Question Car photography lens

Hi I have an Olympus ep1 and I really like shooting cars with it but I’m having a hard time due to the wrong lens, I know you can get adapters to put other lenses on, so what kind of lens are you guys running for car photography or what recommendations do you have??

Answered Help with flash!

I’ve been trying to use a fl-20 flash with my Olympus e-m10 mkiii, but for some reason it won’t work. As you can see in the pictures, it recognizes the flash, but when I half press the shutter the flash icon turns red and it doesn’t fire no matter what settings I change. The flash isn’t broken, I’ve tried it on an old fm2n and a PowerShot g2 where it (somehow) works with no issues. Does anyone know a way to get this working?

Gear Showcase Thumb grip for my wife’s E-PM2

I found very few premade options on eBay and it was $20USD for a piece the size of a MicroSD card. Before her old grip completely disintegrated I was able to roughly trace it.

Will probably scale up and cut another one ~5% larger but not bad if I say so myself!

Answered Lens for EM1 for Safari

Hi, I have an EM1 and am deciding what lens to bring on safari in Botswana.🐘🦛🐆 I’ve been disappointed with my 40-150mm F/4-5.6 (partly bc of low light).

After some research which said a 12-100 f/4 pro should handle my needs (landscape and not too distant large mammals), I bought it and am second-guessing that decision after being disappointed photographing eagles not to far away.

Reviewing Reddit comments it sounds like the 40-150 F/2.8 pro is popular but pricy.

Appreciate any suggestions and insights.

Edit - I should add that I’d prefer to bring only one lens that will cover the best range and avoid changing lenses. Also, I’d return the 12-100 if it’s not the best choice ($$$). Considering renting.

Relatedly, I’m reluctant to change lenses so am considering whether I should bring a second body. If so, should I consider buying an EM1ii or renting a different body?

Thanks!

hi! my olympus x-42 is on and working completely fine, apart from the the fact that even though the lens is open, the screen and images are black?

just before the camera starting shooting blanks, the images were showing lines on it which probably has something to do with it?

if anyone knows if and how it can be fixed please let me know, would be greatly appreciated!
