What’s going on with my oak tree?
My wife got me a potted oak tree (quercus robur) for my first Father’s Day, on behalf of my new born daughter. The leaves were already showing some brown, dry spots when I received it but I didn’t think much about it. The brown spots are now also showing on the newer leaves and I’m concerned about the health of the tree itself.
What’s happening to my oak tree, and is its health in danger? What’s the current?
Thanks a ton!

What is dripping on my car
Hello Arborists!
I parked my car under a very large red tree. I'm in Minnesota.
It's early summer. Every morning I wake up in my car has these tiny droplets they're very sticky.
I would assume they're sap, but of course, this isn't a maple tree. I believe these are coming out of the small openings on the leaves, is that correct?

Deer damaged oak
My apologies if this channel has answered a similar question. We moved 4 years ago and the previous owner started this oak tree. 2 years ago, deer rubbed it really bad. They hit several of our trees, but this one took the worst of it. Will it heal or will it pose a threat to our house which is within 30 ft?

This is my but oak I planted about a month ago and it seems like it’s not growing much. Unless it’s rooting

What is this oak?
This oak popped up in my yard in Northwest Houston, TX USA & doesn't look like the others around. The iNaturalist app isn't narrowing it down easily. Any ideas what oak species this is?

Can anyone identify this newly planted tree?
I already know what kind of tree it is. I just want to see if anyone is able to correctly identify it

Help identifying please
Hard to get good resolution with at detailed distances, but I have all these little black …”turds?” all over under the oak in my back yard. Rotten pollen strings that didn’t fall? Bugs? Poop? They are soft and appear over night. Outside of Houston, 60(ish) year old tree.

Acorns
I obtained 2 species of acorns from Yosemite, and one from Knott's.
California black oak on the top
California white oak in the middle
And canyon live oak on the bottom
My only question is, did I slrt them correctly? I plan to plant them and from what I read, they require different preparation, so I just want to be sure

Is this tree okay?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Not sure if this is a sign of distress, or normal, or from insects?

Oak trash
The oak tree on my side of the street absolutely rains trash; pollen, acorns, etc. The identical oak tree across the street doesn't and neither does any other that I know. Why?

Books about oaks
Hi, I want to recommend this book. I've not finished yet, but is pretty interesting. Any other recommendation?

Anyone wanna help me grow trees?
I want to have a large collection of living oaks for my pa’s 8 acres of land. My family loves trees and I wanna try and experiment where I have people send me acorns to grow. (I’ll have a P.O. Box) I wanted to see if anyone would be interested in helping by sending some acorns? Pine trees are also welcome.

How often do I water a 12ft red oak?
I was told to water it daily for a year, but the internet says everything from every other day to every other week. I cut back to every other day but the ends of the leaves are getting crunchy.
I'm in Oregon and don't know what I'm doing.
