Guide Interactive Recruitment Checklist in web format

Tool: https://tools.diegogliarte.com/digimon/world-next-order/recruitment-checklist

I know I am a bit late to the party, but I played this game a year ago (chapter 4 completed) and just now decided to 100% it. I just reached the postgame and I was having trouble with the recruitments, since most of them have many conditions and the guides I found were not interactive enough.

I decided to create a web tool where you can input your current progress, and it will tell you the available and blocked digimons you have. When clicking a digimon you check it as "recruited", so some digimons like Darkdramon will remain blocked until you recruit Bancholeomon.

I got the data from FAQ and this excel, but I had format it myself so I might have some errors.

Just wanted to post it in case someone might find it useful :)

Help thread So, do i need to focus on Vigor or something?

I've done some battles that are absolutely bs, BanchoLeomon takes the crown, even with 2 megas and using ExE evolution, i had to spam healing itens because he taunts my digimon, and i can't block his 10k attacks.

And then i fought Paildramon, which literally used 3 attacks of 3 - 9k damage by the time my character was done using a single item that heals 5k damage..

I'm only in chapter 2 and my digimons haven't passed away yet, so this is my first generation, what should i do now? I run into a point that all maps are either a waste of time and gives no exp, and the rest just destroys my digimons in 3 seconds

EDIT: My digimons are PlatinumNumemon and MetalSeadramon

Guide This is a guide for the best foods and cooked foods for stats requirements

We allways had that issue of having a digimon and not being able to evolve it specially in the mega or ultimate levels because it lacks certain stats to unlock its key points.

this guide is to help in finding the best food to make the stat requirements easier.

lets start with the first category weight:

+Weight:

Meats can be quite good early on to gain weight but if you need a lot of weight with limited time the chunk meat givining +3 weight but if you need more than that you can find the baby strawberrys who gives a +5 weight increase wich can be found in bony resort and onihudo wasteland a lot.

you can also opt to buy food from ogremon in the enteratiment district and buy a fruit crepe wich gives +4 weight

once you have the tent with cooking skills you can use a welldone meat combined with oily fruit to create "Junk food" this food gives a +10 weight increase with saciety of 60.

or you can also buy from terriermon the "Multi-burger" who also gives a +10 weight increase and -5 dicipline if you have restaurant at level 5 for more convenience if you have the extra coin

-Weight:

early on theres not much options to lower weight aside the green digistalks who give -1 weight but once you unlock wizarmon in bony resort wait until it can warp you to absolute zero and in the frost catedral you can find lots of frostcutmushrooms wich lowers weight by -3.

once you have restaurant level 4 you can buy from renamon the colorfull mushroom soup wich can lower weight by -6.

the second category is Dicipline:

+Dicipline

theres a lot of foods that can raise dicipline specially in the restaurant , most of the foods sold by renamon like the "marinated forest veg" , "local udon" and even the "Colorfull mushroom soup" , all give a +5 dicipline.

from those 3 dishes the one that has the lowest saciety is the marinated forest Veg with 30 saciecy if you only want to focus to raise dicipline thats your best choice.

but theres a food even better than all of this.

first get a celestial chestnut found in onihudo wasteland and also bony resort and a quick fruit drop from veggiemons as well as bought by woodmon in the farm to create the "Chestnut glace" in a tent with wich gives a +12 dicipline and has a saciety of 30 making it the best food in the game to raise max dicipline.

-Dicipline

if you want the oposite and make some mean digimons then fishing for fish is your best bet.

the black digitrouts gives the most negative dicipline if consumed , but it can be better

if you use a black digitrout combine with an infinite water bought from the vendor machine in fauty ex machina or by sakuyamon but its a bit more expensive there. to create the "Dark drink"

the dark drink gives a -10 dicipline with a saciety of only 25 meaning you can feed it multiple times in a row making it the best food in the game for negative stat raising.

but if fishing is not your style or you can also opt to create the "Dark pot" wich is made with an Unlucky mushroom that can be dropped by the greymon blues in bony resort + infinity water

giving a -10 and can also reduce weight by -3 but with the only downside of having 40 saciety but it can be a great alternative if you have no access to high tier fishsing yet.

and laslty the Bond category:

while some resaurant foods can raise bond by a lot giving a digimon their favorite foods can also give a big bond boost specially with tamer skills.

to know wich food your digimon likes you can ask wormon.

combine all previosly with grankuwagamon daily powers in the dojo and you will get that digimon you desire in no time.

if you have any more questions share in the comments below.

Help thread Is farming really necessary when ExE death event is a thing ?

I'm at chap 2 and killed Titamon with 14k health >2k stats thanks to save scumming to get the ExE event after your digimons are defeated. The thing is I feel like it is too overpowered to the point where I could beat most tough fights with it ? What's the point of grinding then if I can reload the game to get it ? Besides it being random it doesn't have any cons.

I really feel like it isn't rewarding and even want to go back to the save file before defeating Titamon to grind and win the fight with an honest battle.

Help thread How Long Does Life Boost Add?

So, I'm on my third (well, maybe second and a half since I never finished my second go) playthrough after I finally got the PC version like I've been wanting to (even if I still never got anyone on Discord to watch and choose the eggs).

I reached the end of the game, just got to the Infinite Zone, and my second reincarnation's are at 21 days.

I'm surprised how far I got, I mean this is the first time I've ever gotten a Mega on my first partner's and will probably finish the story at 3.

But like I said, they're 21 days old, I've got the two standard skills and also fed them a few rainbow mushroom soup's, I plan on going into the final zone and getting a few more recruit's but I also know that I'm not finishing it until a month or so later when I have two mega's again.

So, do we have an approximate amount of time the skill's actually add so that I know how many days I have with ExE and am able to do some more stuff? I thought they were gonna croak after I took out Zwart-D.

TL;DR I have the first two life boost skills and have fed a Rainbow Mushroom soup or two to my partner's, they're 21 days old, there an estimate how much longer I have with them?

Discussion My thoughts and what could be improved in the future

Hi there,

Been wanting a Monster Taming game but mostly focused on Pet Simulation, Pet Raising, Bonding with Monsters and tactical battles. I have found it. Bought Digimon World Next Order Hard Copy from another Country. Although the battles are real time and more observed from the sideline. I use to play an Old Digimon World game but vaguely remembered it well. Mum hired it from the DVD/VG shop when I was a young bloke. Now Playing this magnificent game as an older person, which brings back good old memories. I'm in shocked that after all these years Digimon is still... This dam good!

The Recent Digimon game I played was Cyber Sleuth and Hackers Memory. I compare these two games quite close and yet they are completely different games. They are both good in my opinion. Both not super amazing. I still feel the developers could work on some of the design. Bear with me. I am still new to Digimon World: Next Order and playing it on a casual basis.

Gym/Training
-I love the way you train in the gym, it's nice, simple and fast as for someone who is locked into other time consuming games i.e. 4X Strategy, CRPG, Other Monster Taming games etc.

-Would be more helpful if you can gain a little bit more stats during combat, I don't mean a huge amount but erase the 1-2 points.

Who Stinks?
-I think the Poo mechanic is quite fun but a bit too constant. It usually happens after every time I eat. They could improve this by once a day.

Extend Life
- I would like to Extend the Life before death Mechanic over a few days, 2-4 RL(Real Life) etc, so it feels a bit longer. Thankfully you can extend this through TPs but I think it should be standard. Then, increase it even longer through those buffs.

Double Raising/Double battles
-I think the Idea of raising 2 Digimons together and battling using both is an excellent design. It's very fun and requires a bit more thinking involve, because of 2 complete different types, movesets, raising needs, focusing on different stats etc. The Battling system commanding style while observing how they are fighting could be improved not changed because I love this idea. Something a bit more engaging from a Tamers Perspective.

Visuals
-The 3D Modelling, designs of these Digimons are fantastic and are super clear to me which is a big bonus in my books. The Textures of the World building could be improved since we are coming to a more visually modern appearance society. Depending on their budget. I mean if they ever do a sequel.

Pet Simulation
-The Bonding, Friendship, Discipline, injury, sickness, praising, scolding. I love all these mechanics. Being able to communicate with your Digimons really shows how from a Real life Human like myself actually feel more connected with my Digimons. Which is why I like holding onto them for so long. Am Happy when they Die and then reincarnate to repeat the process. I would love to go even further. Better to discuss in another topic as this requires a huge amount of research.

Communication
-It would be if they could go even more deeper with communication or some sort of socializing mechanic where you can hear, observe their attitude on how well they behave or how horrible they interact with their tamers or towards their Digimon partner. Causing to increase/decrease happiness, bonds, but also to gain Respect, improved morality or loyalty. They do this but would love the idea to go even further, where I could manage it more.

-An example, maybe their personality trait affects their battling system, the way you train them, they way they behave or interact with you and their digimon partner. Lets take ''Compassionate'' is a trait that solely cares about their Digimon partners and their Tamers. Offering gifts, cheering other Digimons through gym training which encourages better stats or increases happiness value twice more when receiving a Praise after. I don't think their is a ''Bully'' Trait but this one could make your Digimon come off quite aggressive to your other Digimon and makes it harder to want to fight along side and they start missing their attacks or they stand their feeling alone and not participating. But you can increase their bond together which nullifies the frequency. Lol sounds silly.

Though I am not sure if Traits are random since born. That's where Tamer skills come in which improves the chances of keeping your personality trait which I think it does do this. And while keeping your Personality Traits stat buffs in combat still remain the same too.

Tamer
-Finally we have Tamers with an actual levelling up system, skills, passive traits. The Tamers feels just as important as the Digimon. In fact it feels like I am taking care of 3 at the same-time but one is a human. I like how the Tamer improves the quality of training, Communicating and improve their bond. The only thing I could think of is doing more with the Tamer for their Digimons from Socializing, Grooming, Washing, cleaning, Petting, physically and mentality, spiritually interacting, engaging. Maybe Tamers have their own personality and you can shape it the way you want to train your little mons through discipline, abuse or love them to guide Digimon Evolution to their rightful pathway. Although they do have a pretty solid system as is.

Conclusion
While I'm still learning and figuring things out. Next Order is a pretty fun game and really touches that nostalgia.

I am looking forward for another Digimon World game hopefully with something more Improved, enhanced, Even more visually improved, trying new things, and taking a risk in adding some new mechanics from a Pet Simulation. I Think the Battles and Levelling up system are fine but can also be improved.

It's cool how I think both Digimon World and Monster Rancher have really deep Bonding and training mechanics as suppose to just being a monster collective and actually raise them to reach milestones with actual goals. A Bit like training your real life Pet if you love animals.
That's why Digimon World Next Order remains a True Gem and deserves a Golden Star!

For Viewers
Open to all opinions, thoughts, Ideas. All welcome here.

Thanks to everyone who was able to read such a long post.

Help thread keyboard question

Alright, so I've been playing this game for a while, I kind of used to play on the switch, but I've become more of a PC gamer in the last year or so, and eventually got this game on sale and I couldn't resist. The controls were a bit of a learning curve (curb?) but after knowing, it's been fine. The thing is, I just realized, as the city became, well, an actual city, is that I don't seem to be able to actually know which key works as the "fast travel" one, as in, let's say I just came back to the town, and I want to go directly to the farm, or to a restaurant, etc. In switch, and even in playstation, there was a button (can't remember which) that would pull up a little menu and would let me go from any place to the other. That, in the grand scheme of things, saved a lot of my time which ofc is very important in this game if I may say so. It's not game breaking exactly, but I'd love to have that back, so my question is, if anyone knows which button it is. Now, I know that I can play with a controller, but I don't want to, I enjoy playing with a keyboard and if I can't have that button anymore, so be it, but if anyone knows, I'd appreciate the help. I also apologize since I imagine others have asked similar questions, but I've looked it up a few times and I only found a couple of posts that have been helpful (for instance about training with the keyboard) but none have covered this one. Maybe I get the option later on and I'm too eager? But either way, thank you and sorry.

TLDR: what's the button that pulls up the menu in the city so you can instantly go from one place to the other?

Discussion Am I the only one who knows about this when comes to exe digivole

When both of your Digimon are wiped out in battle in Digimon World: Next Order, they occasionally trigger a special emergency fusion called ExE (Extra Evolution). This "anime moment" happens automatically as a last-ditch survival mechanic if the bond between you and your partners is very high for context I found this out when playing myself it happened a bunch just wondering if I was only one

Help thread Questions about the game (beaten it working on achievements)

Why are some of the English names of digimon different? Samudramon? Gaiomon! Lordknightmon? Crusadermon! It seems Kaisergreymon and Emperorgreymon are interchangeable? Just wondering why this game used different English names.

If i dont feed my digimon, do they lose life? Cant seem to find a straight answer for that.

Is there a way to speed up the manual grind of some digivolutions? I know we can use crystals but im trying to do black war greymon and black metal garurumon. I have the ultimate forms but no crystals. They are age 3 and 5 (though im not sure hkw that happened as they were much closer in age as in training with only 1 day apart but could be a time thing)

Is the maximum prosperity 199 or 200? Im at 198 and im only missing Darkdramon.

As title states I (F 33) have been playin Pokemon since Ruby came out. I have never touched a digimon game (or seen the show) no interest in it until the switch had it on sale for $10. I figured sure what have I got to lose right? Well I’m dead wrong 😂 I like the game I’m not very far in it I am tamer level 4. How can I shift my mind out of Pokemon and jump into the world of digimon? Anyone have any guides or beginner tips? It’s all so overwhelming. Thank you.

Help thread DNA Evolution and Omegamon Zwart

Hiya! Been playin the game for quite sometime, almost finishing it for good, but got the whole field guide to work on.

I would like to raise an Omegamon Zwart, but you can't get it through the Extra DNA from the dojo since neither BKWargreymon or MetalgarurmonBK are recruitable. This leaves me with either the DigiCore (stupid Garudamon and his so-so items) or the partners DNA evolution.

My question is, what are the accurate side effects for the DNA evolution? I heard one partner de-ages and one becomes the evolution, which is all too vague but I know that it'll definitly cause them to de-sync. Can the deaged partner evolve again normally? How do their lifespan are affected by that? I honestly do not want them to de-sync.

Discussion So I’m playing the Next Order randomizer mod, and
 what is this?

Post image
16 Upvotes

So there’s a randomizer mod available for Next Order on PC that randomizes the species of enemy Digimon (but not their drops, stats, or moves) and, more importantly, randomizes ground items. While in Nigh Plains, I came across this item called “V Jump Big Meat.” I’ve literally never seen anything like this in this game.

It doesn’t have a page on Grindosaur, and looking the name of the item up on Google gives literally nothing. Does anyone know what this item is and where you’d usually get it in base game? Is it possibly an event item of some kind?

Help thread What to do in Post-Game?

So, I now have WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon.

I beat Armageddmon with Omegamon.

I have Digimon with stats in the 4100+

I have to go around and do the boss battles that remain.

I know there's VenomMyotismon and Ophanielmon in the church at Bony Resort.

I know there's a DLC extra story, so how do I access it?

Or did I do it already?

Help thread Goblimon refuses to move?

[THE ISSUE HAS BEEN SOLVED]

Firstly, I got the name wrong—it was Shamamon, not Goblimon.

Secondly, apparently the Meicoomon event in-progress prevents the storyline from continuing.

I'm not sure how or why, but okay, weird interaction.

---

So I've been trying to continue the Meat Army vs. Veggie Army quest and... Goblimon just refuses to move.

"Sorry, there's reports of a suspicious person!"

What do I do? I destroyed every veggimon I could find.

Attached Help Thread in case that is the thread meant to ask questions. If it is not, I would appreciate it if a mod could correct it.
