Hey everyone!

I've been building a large Gothic cathedral completely from scratch, and I'm pretty happy with how it's turning out so far. The front has a large rose window, tall towers, pointed arches, and I'm planning to add flying buttresses and a detailed roof.

The problem is the back of the cathedral. It has a massive flat wall, and I'm completely stuck on what to do with it.

I don't want to add another rose window because there's already one on the front, and I want each side of the cathedral to feel unique.

Besides adding textures to the walls, what else can I do to improve this build? I'm trying to add a lot of detail, but I've run out of ideas. Also, what do you think of the overall structure?

Just a world tour of my Friend Groups Lightly modded survival multiplayer! more updates to follow!

I needed a nether portal themed build in my hardcore and was messing around with ideas.I wanted to use the new blocks. Keep in mind I don't really find inspiration from real world architecture. I just build what I think looks cool. but I feel like its missing something or something is wrong.

I dont know has this same desing been used anywhere else but i came up with this myself. What do you guys think?

I made this build. It's a tiny watchtower. I used walls as pillars and they dont look that good. So, does anyone know how to make these pillars look good. And I also used spruce fence at the top and it also doesnt look that good. Can you guys help me by giving some ideas for pillars.

I tried to fill this empty space across from this dock you see in the video by adding a bunch of custom trees. I only started doing them about a week ago, so this was nice to work on and get the hang of. I want to add in a bunch more birch variations across the other side of the river, so I'll post an update of that when it's done! I would love suggestions if anyone has any.

P.S. Daytime videos are definitely better than nighttime in my opinion. And I've never thought lanterns look good in shaders.

He says the leaf layer is complete and there's nothing wrong with it, me and my other friend says it looks like someone gave it a buzz cut.
