Besides adding textures to the walls, what else can I do to improve this build? I'm trying to add a lot of detail, but I've run out of ideas. Also, what do you think of the overall structure?

I tried to fill this empty space across from this dock you see in the video by adding a bunch of custom trees. I only started doing them about a week ago, so this was nice to work on and get the hang of. I want to add in a bunch more birch variations across the other side of the river, so I'll post an update of that when it's done! I would love suggestions if anyone has any.

P.S. Daytime videos are definitely better than nighttime in my opinion. And I've never thought lanterns look good in shaders.

I needed a nether portal themed build in my hardcore and was messing around with ideas.I wanted to use the new blocks. Keep in mind I don't really find inspiration from real world architecture. I just build what I think looks cool. but I feel like its missing something or something is wrong.

Hey everyone!

I've been building a large Gothic cathedral completely from scratch, and I'm pretty happy with how it's turning out so far. The front has a large rose window, tall towers, pointed arches, and I'm planning to add flying buttresses and a detailed roof.

The problem is the back of the cathedral. It has a massive flat wall, and I'm completely stuck on what to do with it.

I don't want to add another rose window because there's already one on the front, and I want each side of the cathedral to feel unique.

This is my castle! It’s supposes to be on top of a moutain with a thriving village surrounding it. As you can see the village isn’t done in one of the photo. But thought I’d show you guys my castle anyways. It is complete interior and I added in some photos of a few of the rooms. It is also complete with an automatic storage system that holds every item in the game😊

Added a small medieval house to my world today. This turned out greater than expected so figured I’d share it with you all. Don’t mind the terrain around the house, I will terraform it😉

I made this build. It's a tiny watchtower. I used walls as pillars and they dont look that good. So, does anyone know how to make these pillars look good. And I also used spruce fence at the top and it also doesnt look that good. Can you guys help me by giving some ideas for pillars.

I don’t know how to expand into new rooms in a natural way.I’m in early mid game
Haven’t gone to the nether yet iron armor some diamond tools.Things any later on that I don’t have yet will be considered for later.

I need some help! I like creating builds inspired by real-life structures that look as authentic as possible, but I’m stuck on the style for the Great Wall of China. Initially, I planned to build it entirely out of stone (since mud is a hassle to gather), but it looks too flat. The second photo shows a build I’ve already finished and the style of the smaller towers. I really like the "pale oak" pattern (I placed the blocks there so you can use them as a reference), but I’m worried it might clash with the towers... yet, on the other hand, I fear that using just stone for the larger towers would look terrible. I’m completely stuck.🤒
