Usually I completely cannibalize an outpost when I leave. I did not realize that they could continue to harvest and make resources for research! And so I decided that this time I would have an outpost crafting in the background for my research tiers. Defenses were nuked though, I needed some of the resources back.

Is there anything super obvious that I'm missing here?

I'm asking this because i'm scared of underestimating any sector after I had to restart twice in Biomass Synthesis Facility.
