I can finally say my little Mercy shrine is finished...

( at least for now. )

Mercy and Overwatch have been one of my biggest special interests for years, so I've always dreamed of creating a space dedicated to them. I took a lot of inspiration from weeb/otaku, oshikatsu, and kawaii room setups, and wanted to make something that felt warm, cozy, and unmistakably Mercy.

I've always loved Mercy not just because she's fun to play, but because I think she's such a beautiful character. From her design and skins to her personality and what she represents, she's been a character I've connected with for a long, long time. Every figure, print, and little decoration in this setup is there because it reminds me of why I love her as a character.

Being part of the Mercy community has also meant a lot to me. As someone who's neurodivergent, this community has helped me step outside my comfort zone, overcome some of my fears, and grow as a person. I've met kind people, shared thoughts and laughs, and found a place where I feel like I belong. I'm really grateful for that. And I know a lot of people here feel like this too!

The whole setup only takes up about 140 cm (55"), I've always preferred smaller, cozy spaces. I wanted to show that you don't need a huge room to create something that feels personal and full of love.

This setup is honestly everything I imagined when I first started collecting, and I'm so happy to finally call it finished... at least until I build a PC and (hopefully one day) and bring home the 400€ Mercy statue.

I hope this little corner brings you even a fraction of the joy it's brought me. Thank you to everyone in this community for making Mercy such a wonderful character to love, and thank you for taking a look at my little shrine.

I've always wanted to make a repeat badge ita bag, and Mercy was the obvious choice.

I kept the design pretty simple so it's practical enough to use every day while still showing off my favorite character. Really happy with how it came together! I might still add or move some things but it's pretty much done for now :3

Guys, as a mercy player, what are some movement tips you guys have for avoiding big CC ults from enemies, like say . . . Hmm . . Zarya or. . hazard! I watched some mercy clips and everyone's moving so randomly, it's so hard to keep up, I'm like "oh moons!" Haha u know us Mercy mains~. So, can you guys give a lil ole mercy main some elite guidance into the thought process behind the movement on maps like watch point, Dorado and r 66 when escaping ults, (d+ especially on the 2nd points with a hitscan that's way in the back,) Ahah

Piggy backing off another post asking about how much dmg boost charges valk

My thought has always been (for the 12 months I’ve been playing lol) that dmg boosted should charge valk more than it currently does.

Because valk is one of the weakest ults in the game, I figure it charging faster isn’t that big of a deal. I understand valk charge was needed recently but that was to compensate for flash heal

I also think mercy should be rewarded more for her damage boost. This could be gross when running into ekittenuwu#6969 and her hitscan duo, but I think it encourages/rewards flicking beam between allies doing burst dmg

Obviously, this isn't a game-breaking bug, and I know it might sound a bit nitpicky—especially since this skin came out seasons ago. However, seeing them fix Anran’s nails made me realize it was worth bringing up Mercy's Pompompurin skin as well.

(Just for context, I play on PC with every single graphic setting maxed out on Ultra, so performance scaling is definitely not the issue here.)

It’s a paid cosmetic, and in first-person games, our hands and weapons are literally the only things we see while playing. The nails look completely different in 1st person compared to Hero Select, the Gallery, and even Replays (where the higher quality model is clearly visible). Right now in 1st person, likely due to a bug or oversight, they look much less detailed, shorter, and just off.

I completely agree that major bugs and gameplay balance have higher priority. But feedback on paid items still matters—if we stay silent and get used to these visual downgrades, lower quality might easily become the new standard.

Apparently me giving the enemy mercy useful advice is a HUGE insult now? (She was in the air all game without cover and kept wondering why she was ‘getting targeted’)

Hiii!! So, my mom's making me custom shirts, and I really want to have one with something mercy on it. However, I dont wanna do something thats suuuper obvious its her. I was thinking something like putting the spray of her wings on the back of a shirt but I also have long hair and usually have a jacket on.

Would you guys have any ideas? If it helps any, the shirt can be any color.

I feel like I have major potential to rank up to Diamond this season as my highest was Plat 1 last season, but I placed silver this season. Not sure how; it’s like I am getting worse now lol.
I’ve been playing mercy since OW 1 so I have very good movement/slingshot rez/positioning as well as pistol skills. I ALWAYS get at least 20 kills as mercy, which I see a lot of mercy’s not do and get 0 damage a game. Because mercy famously doesn’t add a whole lot to team composition, as in she isn’t usually capable of changing the course of a fight, I wonder how to rank up with her. Sometimes I do get shitty teammates but I’m past blaming other people and want to understand how I can personally improve. Is it shitty teammates or my chosen support character just not being able to enable those teammates?
I’ve seen mercy’s who get to T500, I want to know how they do it.

I just want to see how much damage I mitigate with this perk on the scoreboard so I can see how effective it is. I have no idea why it doesn't already show that. Junker Queen shout shows how much damage was mitigated by her overhealth, why not this?

i just have a hobby of editing and had some mercy echo clips from like 2 years ago and made a edit with this song (I stuck diamond/masters for 2 years) its nothing impressive but im hoping too make one with res techs. Also ive never seen a mercy echo edit. Im now gm and main both echo and mercy, I have been wanting too make a streamer reaction mercy montage since I already made a ton of those with echo, but we will see. Just wondering what I should prioritize improving on.

One thing I know I could’ve done better was keep track of my teammates’ ult charge so I could damage boost anyone who was close to getting their ult. I’m usually on top of that, but I had trouble focusing on it during this game.

Two instances I would especially like input on:

1. I believe it was toward the later half of the match, and the enemy had pushed the bot underneath the bridge. We won the fight, and my tank and other support began walking it back.

However, there was still a Soldier hanging around near the middle area of the map with the fountain, and my Cass and Widow stayed behind to finish him off. I stayed with them because my other support was already with my tank, and I could get back to them fairly quickly once the Soldier was dealt with. I figured it wouldn’t take long since it was a 3v1. But it ended up feeling like a big waste of time and caused my tank and support to die alone.

2. At the end of the game, I used Valk to stall the bot and then went for a somewhat risky rez, but I’m unsure whether that was the right play.

I’d especially appreciate advice from players who have climbed out of Gold themselves, since they may have a better understanding of the challenges at this level than someone who has never been placed in metal ranks. I still appreciate anyone taking the time to respond though. Thanks!

Out of all the heroes mercy is by far the most clunky and outdated. Even lifeweaver feels smoother to use. Your teammates are your only source of mobility (at least let her use enemies/enviorment now that hellspawn cat is in the game), shes only support that has to switch weapons (for the worst damage in the game), her biggest value comes from hard pocketing with damage boost (which is super toxic and unbalanced) and her ultimate basically just gives her a worse version of jetpack cats basekit. If this hero is so popular how has she not been modernized yet?

Is this spray a reference to something? I know the devs like to do that a lot with sprays, and this just gives me major reference vibes but I can't think of anything.
