When someone passes, if they decide to reincarnate does that mean you’ll never see them again? How would that work?

I would love to see my love again but I keep fearing he’ll reincarnate before I do. How does it work would it be like on earth and we would just spend time together? Would you still feel pain?

I experienced ghosts, clairvoyance, and what many folk, I’ve learned, call shadow people since childhood to early 20s. One shadow man reoccurringly and specifically.
I had an experience in my early 20s where (now I know) I did a dumb thing, and opened myself up to everything.
Terrifying experience.
(It wasn’t the reoccurring shadow, it was a different thing entirely)
It made me shut Everything down, block it all.
The certain entity that followed me, hasn’t harmed me from what I know, but scared me . They would still show up from time to time but I shut it down harder. Haven’t seen that entity since.
I’m starting to feel more things now releasing my tight hold block and am being more discerning like I wasn’t when I was young. I want to explore this arm I cut off awhile ago—but am scared of the reoccurring shadow man I saw throughout my younger age.
My question:
1st how to discern whether something is harmful, or is just scary to us.
2nd in the getting back in touch process, what specifications and practices would you suggest to block the harmful energies while still remaining open to others. Or. Books to help me along with this journey.

I never knew her. My grandmother never knew her much. But she came to my reading as the first person to say she was spiritual and that we in the family should trust our gut intuition, that we see the world different and we should tune into that. My medium didn’t say much about it afterwards, but what does that mean? I do not know anyone who has had the same before in a reading.

Hi !! Thank you to whoever is taking the time to read this and respond. Recently ive had a encounter with some haunted items, along with a interesting series of events afterwards. It would be a lengthy story but since these series of events I've been interested in Mediumship.

Ive had encounters for my entire life although I never had much thought into it. When I was in middle school, I remember being in a deep sleep and suddenly someone started to shake my by my thigh, telling me to wake up and I did. A more recent one is that i dreamed about having 3 pimples directly under my eye (ew), when I woke up I saw nothing but the next day they were there. Most of these events involve me predicting things in my dreams, the most memorable one is how I predicting meeting my partner 2 years before I even met them. Another good example is how I see shadows time to time. Its never in my room, normally something scurrying across the hallway infront of my door or peeking in and disappearing once I fully notice- sometimes i am scared and other times i am not. The paranormal does interested me alot although I feel too paranoid to ever deep my foot too deep, at most I pratice manifesting and light witchcraft.

I would also say that i have a very strong intuition, with places and people. Sometimes it does get mixed in with my own anxiety but ive been right most of the time. A good example is when I was job searching, I found something perfect and it was a easy apply aswell. But during my in person interview, I felt like something was extremely off with the business. Everyone was very kind and friendly but something felt wrong, I signed my papers but backed out before the week I worked and I was right. Even with people, I have moments were I feel something strongly even if I cant describe it and I am normally right.

Since these recent events with the haunted items, ive ran into 3-4 mediums just by coincidence. I find it interesting how things just happened lol but ive been very interested in learning more and wondering if I can do the same. Not speak to spirits exactly but feel the energy on objects/places and being able to describe how I feel.

Hi, I’m new here and I’m looking for some guidance. I think I help souls cross over? I’m not sure at all if I’m a medium (I’m trying to get in touch with my intuition at the moment), but Im very good at sensing energy and emotions and I tend to feel and carry other people’s emotions. But I realized this ability of mine is not exclusive to living people.

Recently, I had an energy cleanse with my therapist, and in soft trance, I told her that I’m carrying energy from several people, two of whom were dead. I didn’t know one guy, but I did know the girl. It was my friend who has taken her life recently. I was confused why she would be in my energy field because we haven’t been in touch for so long. When I reached her in trance she, didn’t know she was dead, and I had to tell her that. She was afraid, she wouldn’t want to go, and insisted that I walk with her to the gate. She felt so alone, so I had to walk with her, and I had to hand her over to her spirit guide but she was so scared and confused. When I came back to full consciousness I couldn’t stop my tears from falling, and my therapist told me I was shaking. I felt this girl’s emotions. My therapist also showed me her goosebumps, and told me she could feel her soul leaving. Oh yeah and the other guy told me he died in a car crash and he was just “hanging around”, and that watching me was fun. I made his babushka come pick him up and drag him through the gate.

Also few months ago, my grandpa with very aggressive cancer passed, he was very afraid of death. He was literally refusing to die, he lived more than a year longer than the doctors predicted. Nobody understood how he stayed alive for so long. The same night he passed, I had a dream with him, literally giving him a pep talk about how it’s time to leave, and I was reassuring him that there’s nothing to be afraid of on the other side, there’s just love. And also I had to calm down my grandma’s soul (still alive), that she will be okay when he leaves and she needs to let it happen. I woke up in peace, knowing he left, no longer afraid. I kept checking my phone during the day to get a text from my mom, and indeed, I did get the “grandpa is in a better place now” text.

It’s not my first time that something like this happened. My mom told me that when I was a kid, I informed her about two of my great grandmothers’ death before she received a phone call that they died (two separate occasions). I don’t remember this. But I do remember when I was a pre-teen I had a dream about walking my great grandpa to the gate that leads to the “other side”, and the same morning we got a call about his death, and rushed to the nursing home.

I think I brushed those childhood experiences off because my family is religious (I’m not, I’m spiritual), and they gave me some Christian-style explanations. But I don’t that’s the case, and I also don’t think it’s random because it happened multiple times. Does anyone have any advice for me in terms of how to explore and get in tune with this ability? I’d also love to hear about your experiences and how you started understanding your abilities. Thank you for your time :)

I'm not sure if this is possibly a place to post this. I help my husband with genealogical research and cemeteries. Typically, he likes to stay within the area. I love to travel and sometimes, I will stop at random cemeteries along the way. Usually, I have to feel drawn to the cemetery and I can't always explain why. I'm still working on learning to manage my abilities and understand what I feel/hear. I typically hear short phrases or single words in my head that aren't me or I feel something. Any suggestions on how to improve my abilities?

I've considered making a blog documenting the travels that my husband/man-child do while visiting cemeteries (history, relative information, etc.). Considered including things that I've felt or heard within a cemetery while we were there. Could this be a bad idea?

I’ve had some strange experiences over the past year and a bit. Mostly in that I ‘know’ things that I shouldn’t- as in I’ll be going about my day at work or something and then out of nowhere, completely unrelated, I’ll get an image in my minds-eye of a sequence of events.

Almost as I’m in the room with the person and watching what is happening.
I’m able to reflect/meditate on it later and from there I am able to ‘feel’ into people’s emotions and understand the context of what I saw

Has anyone else had anything like this, by any chance?

I am a 42-year-old woman who is currently going through some changes in my life. During this time, I have felt drawn towards spirituality and would love to learn more about mediumship and connecting with higher beings.

My intention is entirely personal and comes from a genuine desire to support the people around me. I work as a support worker for people with disabilities, and I truly love helping them in whatever way I can. Sometimes, I feel that the physical world and ordinary communication can only take us so far. My favorite friend in the world died when we were in high school, over 12 years ago. I still miss her dearly and still feel so connected to her. Even when she was alive our connection was quite telepathic. Some of the signs I receive from her spirit are so on-the-nose I can’t help but laugh. I always let her know that she is more than welcome to stalk me from the other side. I don’t find the concept of ghosts and spirits spooky at all knowing that she is now a part of that realm. It brings me joy to imagine that she kinda just hangs around and is invested in what I’ve been up to ever since she died. I do think she guides me. Is it plausible to believe that she’s always watching and cheering me on? Is she impressed by the person I have become? I live to make her proud and the thought of having her as my audience makes me happy!

Okay so I am working on refining any medium skills (specifically clairvoyance and clairaudience, which I've experienced a lot of my life), but I can only ever get images or words when I am about to fall asleep or in a very deep meditation and I have my eyes closed. Is there any way that I could potentially practice or train myself to get and recognize spiritual information in less meditative states and be able to use my intuition in more sudden real-life situations? i had a paid reading with someone tonight that was wrong about alot of things and making broad generalizations. she asked if my granny was a church goer-yes and asked if someone feared snakes and i just chalked it up to the fact i had a pet snake after she passed. She tried 3x to guess her death first was dementia, then did she fall, then she asked if it was neurological disorder. I said no do you want me to tell you and she said yes. I said it was the big C and then she pivoted to well does someone in your family have a neurological disorder and i said no and it stayed silent so i said i mean i get headaches and neck pain and have had it for months and months and she said oh so it’s you!!! Then in the next sentence said she wanted to warn someone in my family may have a stroke and then said “ not saying it’s you”. That was the ending to our conversation how strange to end on that. She also thought my daughter was a boy and never gave any dates other than October which was the month she died but never days, names, locations or any memories we had. She just basically tried to see who she was as a person. Now i’m stuck on did she really have a premonition that someone will have a stroke or make it up? Please help

I have had readings with the same medium for about 6 years now, and they have been incredibly helpful and accurate throughout some challenging times.

Right now, my husband and I are both dealing with our own separate challenges with work and other life stuff … and there are certainly challenges in our marriage as well. I have a lot of big decisions to make right now, and I thought meeting with the medium might help a little as I try find the right answers.

The last 2 times I’ve met with this medium, the spirits and guides who have come through just seem to focus on my husband and what he has going on in his life. He is going through quite a bit (as am I). And of course I have concerns over what my husband is going through, but the challenges I’m personally facing were barely brought forth or discussed.

I have always let her guide the conversation and validate we go along… and the conversations just keep going back to my husband and what he needs to succeed. Is it possible that this medium is connected to spirits who are more focused my husband? Is it possible that another medium might pick up on messages that are more for me?

Suppose spirits exist that have existed for a long time and watched and thus know intrinsic facts about the person who departed. And when you connect with them it is not the person but a spirit who pretends they are the person, maybe even take the shape of them.

Is there any way to verify that?

The Baby Pigeon

The night before my father passed in 2005, I still had no idea that he was nearing the end. I only knew that he was hospitalized. That evening, a woman I was seeing in Sierra Madre called me from her kitchen, sounding startled. “There’s a baby pigeon in here in the kitchen,” she said.

I did not understand at first.

“In your kitchen?”

“Yes. It’s just standing there. It came in somehow. I’ve never seen anything like this.”

I paused.

A pigeon?

Inside the house?

That had never happened before — not once in the more than ten years she had lived there.

She described it as small, almost too young to fly well, wandering slowly through the kitchen as if it had been sent there. We talked about how strange it was, and eventually she managed to coax it back outside.

It was not until later, after I received the call that my father had passed, that the connection struck me.

When my father was a boy, he raised homing pigeons. He trained them, fed them, nurtured them, and taught them to fly from the coop and return. They were a source of pride, comfort, and calm in his youth — a kind of quiet mastery in what had often been a difficult world.

So the image of a single baby pigeon walking calmly into a kitchen the night before his death did not feel random to me.

It felt precise.

It felt personal.

It felt like a gentle knock from the other side. I’m leaving soon, but I’m still close.

Has anyone had anything like this? My mom and I are really close and both share the same intuition and psychic abilities. We get premonitions in dreams before something happens.

We slept next to each other last night and had the exact same dream.

My mom forgot most of the details except someone in our family who is abusive was trying to come through our bedroom doorway to hurt or kill her. She thinks she was chased at some point as well but she feels like she’s blocking the rest of the dream out. She can’t remember much else. She thinks she has to hide at some point. Her heart was so high she had to wake up and put her hand on her chest to calm down. It was very vivid and violent. It was definitely someone we know because she could see his face.

My dream was that same person was screaming. I think it was something that the air was too cold. So he started screaming. I think I yelled at some point and told him to stop. But I remember taking my phone out to video record him. Our phones have no storage to video so I remember thinking that in my dream and just hoping it’d work. So I started recording him and I remember seeing him in his room on the video camera and I was trying to find the right angle so I could see. He was putting his sheets and navy comforter on his bed (which he has those) and tucking them into the mattress. I was watching it through my camera. Then he left and went downstairs I guess? I don’t know but next thing we’re all standing in his room. My mom was on the phone with someone or holding it up to her ear and my dad was standing next to me. And then I turn around and saw shoes slowly coming around the corner. No person yet just shoes taking very slow steps. They were big tennis shoes like a darker color. And it was definitely a man because the shoes were massive. I think they had white on the bottom like tennis shoes do. But what was even creepier was there was like a golden light shining on them? I have no idea but it was like in slow motion and I felt scared. Then I saw the person who was yelling at us come around the corner. Then it switched and I saw him in my mom and I’s bedroom doorway and my dad (who is also not nice) was standing right behind him. I was further back watching them but I was trying to record again on my phone as fast as I could. He was screaming at my mom who was in the bedroom. I couldn’t see her but he was looking at her and yelling. I don’t remember hearing her tho I just knew it was her. Then he yelled, “Watch what I’m going to do to you!” Or “Watch what happens!” Or something else about how he’s going to hurt her. Or hit her I don’t know. But he tried to lunge and go in the room but my dad didn’t let him really pass the doorway. He pulled the back of his small skinny brown belt to stop him from going in. I remember my dad yelling then and saying stop! Or break it up! And then the other man was like “You really think pulling my belt is going to stop me, idiot?” Something like that. And when that was going on through my camera lens I could see this golden blurry fuzzy light through the camera it was like it would barely record what was going on. Like you couldn’t really see anything. You could, but it was a bright golden light making it blurry. I’ve never seen that before in a dream. I remember thinking “ugh I didn’t get this on video and we needed that recorded”

We are still feeling very shaken up hours later, and it feels like something is coming. Has anyone had a shared dream with someone you’re close to like this?

I think I am a new medium. I have been working to heal my lifetime of trauma since February and I have noticed some spiritual gifts that come along with it. The other night, I was listening to High by the Lighthouse Family and I felt a natural high. I felt so good and high vibrational. Then I see a post on here for people to test their intuition.

There was a sticky note on top where the poster asked for people to guess what was underneath. I noticed the book underneath said The Realm of Hungry Ghosts. I didn't want any negative energy so I clicked off. I was also listening to Pandora and a car commercial came on. The picture for the commercial was of two cars in like a grand canyon like environment. The woman speaking asked, "Do you believe in ghosts?" Then they go on to talk about the car but the same lady ended in saying something about a haunted house down the street. I was freaked out because the spirits were announcing their presence.

I saw my deceased stepdad twice in my peripheral. He was hunched over at the kitchen sink as he always did in life. He has not moved on I've noticed. He lingers. Lights flicker in the house at times and it happes when we talk about him or write about him. I saw a small dark animal shoot past fast and I felt I was imagining it (I knew deep down I wasn't). I felt tingling feelings around the crown of my head and arm.

I told my sister about this experience. The same night she asked me to grab her something from the kitchen and I bring it to her. Then she said, "I asked for my cookies too!" We had a small spat about it and as I go to get them, she claims she did tell me.

I picked the cookies up off the dining room table while still talking to her from my room. I said, "You didn't ask me for no cookies!" She then said, "Yes I did!" And I said "No you didn't!" We went back and forth twice before I noticed something was off. The voice was gravely and didn't sound like her. It was mocking like. I called out and asked if she said something and she said "No." It was weird!

It was like I had drawn these spirits to me just by feeling good and in high vibrations. Has this happened to anyone else? It was creepy!

I dreamt of Hecate one night but seeing her scared me at first and I ran away (even though after I knew I shouldn't have been scared) I have never seen something like that. She was tall, and just starting at me, but she looked like a shadow, with a long white or grey dress, and dark long hair. I told her I was scared during my meditation the next day and if she can only let me hear or feel her, but I that I wasn't ready to see her. I dreamt and felt her for 3 nights, it was heavy but powerful energy. She kept telling me to step into my power and remember who I am. This next meditation I said I was ok with seeing her again but I asked if she can show herself differently and less intense somehow. I saw Hecate again. This time she came looking differently. instead of looking like a shadow with long hair and a grey/white dress, she looked like a very pretty woman with a robe, and dark hair and fair skin. Regardless I was still taken aback from her presence. It was very powerful and I felt scared at first but I knew I wanted to face and connect with her. I remember it so vividly. She was on the end of my bed. I couldn't have been awake, but I was? I told her to give me a minute to get used to her presence. Eventually I turned to face her. I walked up to her face to face and then I knew I could trust her. The fear was gone. I held her hands, like an agreement that we are officially working together. I think she smiled. From there, it felt like I was pulled into another realm somehow. That's when I completely draw blank and can't remember the details but I do remember she was teaching me things. I knew my subconscious would understand and take it all in.

After that, I recall being back in my room and something fuzzy was surrounding me like an animal. I think it was her ferret. It asked to be pet, and he just laid on my lap while I talked to others in the room. It felt like my ancestors. I don't remember who though I just remember feeling safe. I also remember Hacate saying that she was the one suggesting Aphrodite as well because I should learn from her too.

This has only just happened, and I honestly don't know how to feel about it.

I've always felt sensitive to paranormal or otherworldly things, but I don't think I've fully developed that sense to the point where I can control or understand what I'm seeing, feeling, or hearing. I feel like there's a subconscious block that I'm not ready to remove yet. Even so, I still experience things from time to time.

What I've just experienced is something I can't explain, and I'm wondering if anyone else has had something similar happen or might know what it could be.

It's about 2:00 a.m., and I'm sitting on my bed watching TV. Out of the corner of my right eye, I noticed something move before disappearing over the edge of my bedside table. I only became aware of it because it moved. The strange part was that it felt as though it had been watching me for a long time before that. The absence of its presence felt incredibly loud, it's difficult to describe, but that's the closest way I can explain it.

It was about the size of a cat and appeared completely black, it felt like the absence of light apart from the slightest hint of something lighter on it. I didn't get a proper look because, by the time I turned my head, it had already disappeared.

My first thought was that it was our family cat standing with his front paws on the bedside table, so I immediately checked under the bed, around the room, and everywhere nearby. There was nothing there, and my cat wasn't even inside.

The part that confused me the most was that I also heard it. As it lowered itself—or whatever it was—from the bedside table, I heard a soft thud as it touched the floor. It sounded almost exactly like a cat quietly jumping down from a low ledge.

I do feel a little uneasy now, but I think that's more because the experience was so unfamiliar and because the idea of something seemingly watching me is unsettling. Strangely, though, I don't get a malicious or threatening feeling from whatever it was. If anything, it feels more curious than anything else.

When paranormal things happen I get very dizzy, like vertigo and the spinning has just started to happen. I can also hear a very faint sound coming from the direction of where I saw it but there is nothing there. It sounds like the slight movement of a small creature getting comfortable on blankets.

Has anyone experienced something similar or have any thoughts on what this could have been?

I recently lost my husband, who was the love of my life, and I've been struggling to cope with the overwhelming pain and grief. Lately, I've been thinking about psychic mediums who claim they can communicate with spirits. It made me wonder: what if I could learn to become a psychic medium myself? Part of me feels that if I could somehow connect with my husband again, it might help me survive this loss and find some peace. Hello, this is just a question I suppose, and please correct me if this isnt the correct flair, I didnt see one specifically for questions. I am wondering, if there are some mediums who can get told things without anything, then why do others use machines? The ones that will say like little tidbits of words - why is that? is one more verifiable, or is it just dependant on skill/comfortability? I am just very curious, thank you!

I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask but I’m really scared. A few nights ago this weird thing started happening to me. Basically I woke up at night thinking there was an earthquake cause my bed was vibrating/shaking a lot. I got up and realized the sensation was only on the bed. This happened again a few days ago and today aswell. I tried switching beds yesterday and it happened on my sister’s bed aswell. I also heard this is the sensation people feel when astro projecting. I couldn’t sleep so I came to the kitchen and sit down and after a while I started feeling vibrations again, even when I’m not sleepy. Please is there anything I can do to protect myself? I tried asking my sister to lay with me and she couldn’t feel any vibrations. She thinks I’m going insane :(
