Question ❓ Significant loss of hand control

Hello.

I am quite new to meditation and today embarked on a slightly longer practice. However, after around 20 minutes i noticed my hands had partially closed and I was unable to open them much. I picked up my phone to see if this was normal but it was hard for me to control my fingers enough to even type in my passcode. I ended the meditation there and shortly after I can control my hands and fingers again. I just wanted to check if this is normal. I know that some people experience numbness and tingling but I had not heard about loss of motor control.

Thanks.

Sharing / Insight πŸ’‘ we spend most of our lives trying to control the one thing we can't

think about how much of your day goes into the body. food, gym, sleep, grooming, comfort, how you look. and after all that it still ages, still gets sick, still does what it wants. you can influence it. you can't control it. now think about how many hours you've spent learning how your own thinking actually works.

we'll spend years and a fortune on a car, a house, a body and almost nothing on developing the relationship with the thinking that has to live with all of it.the strange part is that the mind is the one that's actually trainable. thoughts arrive on their own, you don't get a vote in that. but what happens after a thought arrives that part responds to practice. that part can be worked with.

so we've got it backwards. enormous effort on the uncontrollable, almost none on the thing that would change how the whole day feels.where are you with this? has anyone here actually shifted that balance?

Here is the previous post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Meditation/s/z4nkOkcQCC

After people asked me some questions, my own question became clearer to me. My question is:

Is there any medotation that can help prevent burnout or congnitive fatigue or is there any meditation that can help recover from it super fast? I am talking about mental burnout that arises from solving mathematics problems.

Sharing / Insight πŸ’‘ We see with awe the convenience and automation which Artificial Intelligence offers. We do not see that the whole scheme of the Universe is automation. You are at rest once you notice this.

Who is impelling your senses to operate (to see, to listen and so on), impelling movements in your body, impelling you to think? What is the power attracting you to something and distracting you from something?

It is not to find some explanation for the impelling power (I am doing or God is doing is also an explanation)-but to just note the impelling itself. There is no one impelling. There is nothing behind impelling. There is Β only impelling.

Totality is realised.
