I was expecting some nausea and tiredness, but I did not expect my whole day to revolve around trying not to feel sick, having no energy, and feeling exhausted by basic things.

And even when some symptoms ease up, the worry can still stick around. Like if you get a random pain or weird feeling, it is so easy to start wondering if it is normal or if something is wrong.

I feel like morning sickness is often talked about like it is annoying but manageable, but for some people it is way more intense than that.

Has anyone taken 400 mg of vitamin B2 daily during pregnancy for migraines? I'm 12 weeks pregnant and I have been taking 400 mg of b2 daily for about a year or so. Today I had a visit at my doctor and she got paranoid when I told her, she was upset that I didn't tell her earlier and told me that it's too late to stop now since baby's organs are now developed anyway. i may just be overthinking but my last period was at the end of may and i am pregnant now. my cycle is super long, around 40 days, but when we went in to the ob yesterday they initially said they think i’m about 8 weeks along. we did an ultrasound, however, and he said based on the ultrasound, it looks like i’m more of 5-6 weeks along and that if i am 8 weeks, then something is wrong. we could barely see anything if he was pressing really hard, mostly we only saw the gestational sac. they took my blood and scheduled another appointment for 4 weeks from now and my tests online say “inconclusive viability”. i just want to know if it’s possible i am 5-6 weeks because of my longer cycles or if something is wrong. they didn’t really tell us one way or another.

This is all so confusing for my , I have a high risk pregnancy which I have to call off a couple times , my workplace recommend me apply for intermittent leave so my job can be protected , does this affect my maternity leave ? I know in California you get 6 weeks off for vagina birth and 8 weeks c section and also PFL for baby bonding after as well, will those be reduced and I will have to go back to work earlier then those weeks ?

So I will be 32 next month. I always said that I never wanted to have children, and I never have.. but lately I have been thinking that maybe I might want one.

I hooked up with a woman about a month ago. Last week she contacted me to say she’s pregnant. Both a doctor’s visit and a home test have confirmed it, and she says I’m the only person she’s been with, so the baby is mine.

She’s single, already has three children, and lives a couple of hours away from me. She doesn’t believe in abortion and plans to carry the pregnancy to term.

She’s expressed that she’s scared about going through the pregnancy. I’ve reassured her that I’m not going to disappear and that I’m here for her.

As a woman, what would you expect from the father in this situation? We only hung out for a couple of hours and had sex once, so this feels pretty overwhelming and surreal — though part of me also sees it as almost “God’s will.”

I’m trying to figure out my pregnancy timeline because my periods are irregular. I had unprotected sex on June 13 while I believe I was ovulating. I got clearly positive home pregnancy tests on July 6, which was about 3 weeks later. From what I understand, by the time a pregnancy test is positive, implantation has already happened and hCG has had time to build up, meaning I would have already been pregnant before I even took the test. Does that timeline make sense? Would that put me around 7 weeks pregnant by medical dating, even though the baby would only have been developing for about 5 weeks since conception? Has anyone had a similar experience with irregular cycles?
