I’m developing TerraBend, a macOS app for turning elevation data into 3D terrain maps.

It lets you combine DEM data with satellite imagery, adjust projection, camera angle, lighting, materials, and horizon bending, then export the result in resolutions up to 8K.

This is an early render of the Baku region.
I’d love to hear your feedback on the visual style and the app itself.

If the title is confusing, India has 17.8% of the world population. The area I have coloured in on the map is 17.8% of the earth’s landmass. This is a very interesting way to view the enormity of India’s population!

On the top left there are the actual names.

There are some cities whose name's origin is debated so I chose the most widely accepted theory in those cases.

Climate negative refers to the removal of greenhouse gases like CO2, from the atmosphere through deliberate human activities.

It can be debatable if Sakhalin is truly cliamte negative or not.
