Just got back from an AMAZING convention and had to reorganize my shelves to fit some of my new items. I’m constantly moving around my collection, but I think I’m finally happy with how it looks (for now! 😂) I’m truly so happy how much this collection has grown since I started collecting a few years ago. It truly brings me so much joy. 🩷

Finding Thank You For Taking Care of Our Boy Banri and Let Me See The Real You, Senpai! (and also Windbreaker vol14) at a local bookstore today was insane 🙏🙏 I’m so excited to read both series in English!!

Also, seems like I might have to buy some risers for my bookshelf soon, huh 🤔

I just recently started getting into manga. Growing up I’d grab SJ to read Yu-Gi-Oh! and never really read anything else. Got a spark to get into it after reading a graphic novel and really enjoying it. I’ve started Maison, Blue Giant and Smoking Behind the Supermarket. The rest all came today.

I cant wait to see how all 12 of these beautiful books will look like on the shelf 🥰

My local shop finally received their order from the distributor that carries One Peace Books. Since I had volume 1 of the light novel, I now have a copy of all the light novel and manga volumes released here in the U.S. - barring any exclusive covers, though I don't think there have been any for this series.

Edit: Volumes 1-10 are the manga and the thicker volumes at the top of the stack, 1-5, are the light novels.

I’ve been experimenting with my bookshelf setup over the past year to maximise space and make everything look a bit more filled-in.

- Umineko is one of my favourites but displaying it is a challenge. It's a space-hog with some of the ugliest spines in my opinion. I tried the face-out display method to show more of those gorgeous covers and save extra shelf space. I think it looks much better and I got to free-up an entire cubby for my regular novels. I also had to grab some clear bookends for additional support as the heavier volumes will cause the covers to curl over time.

- Culled a few old artbooks to make room for new ones. Big thank you to those on this sub who alerted me to the availability of the Berserk and new Houseki no Kuni artbooks.

- Definitely not the best financial decision, but I added more figures for greater visual interest. I feel like I have space for one more, perhaps a Shinji to pair with Asuka.

- I filled up my grid panel with convention merch. ​Fun fact, but I won the framed print sitting on top of my shelf from a Land of the Lustrous-themed trivia contest back in my uni days. It’s Ventricosus signed by the English VA.

Been wanting that D. Gray Man Illustrations for years. Coming dangerously close to finishing 3 of these series now, so bought miscellaneous new ones (they were cheap)

Grab these they looked interesting enough and it is something a bit new that you don’t really see on people shelves well I haven’t seen them on any shelves yet
I also have three different manga series that I’ll be getting in the next month that I haven’t seen on any shelves at all which I’ve noticed is a problem because a lot of the time you see the same things over and over and then the odd time you see something that switches it up a bit $26-27 Canadian for both in total online( book one is 60% off

I also have this hidden gem. Pandora Hearts is so under rated.

Hello everyone. I found a manga that appears to have an autograph from the creator/author, but I’m not sure if it is genuine or just a regular signature. I have some pictures and would appreciate any help identifying it.

From what I researched, I believe the title is The Gathering – The Purifying Fire (燃え尽きぬ炎), but I’m not completely sure. My copy is missing the dust jacket/back cover.

I would like to know if anyone can identify the author, confirm whether the autograph looks authentic, and if it could increase the value of the manga. If anyone knows more information about this manga, the author, or the signature, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can someone explain sizes? These are images of two comics. One is English and the other is Japanese. Are all/most Japanese comics about the same size? Are the bigger than English print? Does Japan use different size paper than other countries?
