Does anyone think this perk is good? Sometimes I pick it because extra aura range is also kinda mid, but 15% attack speed isn’t gonna help much besides maybe break a Sigma shield faster.

It’s better when you pick the Beat minor perk, but so is the extra range.

I mean i used to play with jump on release on (ps4) then i moved to pc ow and foundout people actually recommend playing without it, so i tried. I can pretty well jump with a space, but with a scrollwheel sometimes it just jumps ones (maybe im scrolling too fast sometimes, but still im trying) im just falling off and losing speed but with a jump on release on its perfect. Is it really worth it playing without it?

I want to work on diving enemies but I don’t really want to throw in real games (yet) so I was wondering if there was a code for something like that. By ‘dives’ I mean jumping at someone and trying to pick them off but maybe I’m using the term incorrectly.

I tried competitive for the first time after years of only playing casually, and while playing, one of my friends told me to switch because Lucio isn't effective on offense. I'm sure my performance was pretty good, and it got me thinking about whether it's better to know how to play several characters or if I should stick to Lucio (who I really enjoy using).

Try to go on offense? You die. Try to support your team? They stagnate at best. Waththedriv red team.

A quick question I've been wanting to ask, because im actually really curious about why people decided to play or stick with him. I think Lucio has so many posible reasons and wanted to know which one was for everyone (well not everyone but you get me).

I can begin (If anyone is interested XD), I actually started playing him when getting back to overwatch and decided he'd be a fun hero to learn and a friend told me he was fun so why not? (Probably not the best decision for a gold player who's previously in overwatch 1 was a HARDSTUCK bronze mercy OTP). But I think there's a BIG reason why I never stopped maining him since then its how versatile he is and how many playstyles he can have. Like each game has it's own thing and you can never get bored. One game you are playing a more safe poke gamestyle and the next you are on a Rein brawl speeding in a chaotic way, or maybe you are on a dive and just messing with everyone and killing their backlines all the time. And now I also realized how FUN is to get value of off him! Like yeah kiriko or ana just heal and whatever but with LUCIO?? Oh boy it's FUN. In one second you are Flanking with your dps and the next you are flying through the battle field and peeling for your ana and then you amp in with you tank and then push highground and contest like who else can do that??? I find him so cool in lore aswell, like he reminds me of Ekko in so many aspects of his lore its crazyyyyy.

Well that was my reason. I just want to see others people reason to why he's your main. It can be a wall of text or just a simple sentence, I'm just curious about what people find the most fun or interesting of him :D

Team was blaming the healing output when we had a tank run it down the whole game. It was an 8 minute quick play match on Runasapi and we ended up winning regardless, but I was just kinda shocked that I was getting blamed when I feel like there is such a larger and more obvious problem.

I posted this in the normal Overwatch sub and was not getting nearly the reaction I thought I would, so now I’m posting it here wondering if other lucio players would be more likeminded to myself.

Heavy metal would be cool, a Facemelter Lucio skin would be cool.

Currently masters 4 in 6v6 after ranking up today. I have around ~160 hours on lucio. Never been coached or asked for feedback before. I've gone from hard stuck plat in past seasons to pushing past diamond so I feel like I'm improving.

Because his healing is weak and speed boost his useless in bronze and sliver. In bronze-gold he's a dps I was told. Please tell me these people were wrong? Lol

I feel safer to just pick a team mate to watch over, boost accordingly and help them with what they decide to do, a minority of people here did recommend this and claim "most people aren't Frogger" so dpsing Lucio is a big mistake according to this view. Idk though.

Am I moving too fast? Should I slow down my approach a bit? I always see Lucio players moving nonstop so I've been following their example.

Is it ever an ok idea to be on the ground?

All right so over the last few weeks I have been pulling my hair out, I keep whiffing on boops that I know for a fact should have connected. I keep my latency counter on and I can tell when I'm on an East Coast us versus West Coast US server. Even on my preferred coast with latency at 30, I feel like at some point the the distance that soundwave travels was quietly reduced. I've been maining Lucio for the last 8 years, the ability has changed a lot in that time. But what really seems to confirm my suspicion is Lucioball.

Lucioball has always had problems with hit registry. Once I'm above a latency of about 50, I'll watch the ball sail directly through my shot into the goal. It's maddening, but it's always been like that. This year I swear to fucking Christ I have to be like 3 ft away from the ball to get the goddamn thing to move properly. Lucioball is my favorite seasonal game so I have played probably thousands of matches. Something is different this year. Part of it definitely seems to be the typical hit registry issues, but those usually only apply when the ball is moving. Lately I will run up to a ball that has just spawned and no one has even touched, toss a sound wave from about 5 ft away with no effect. I get a little closer. More like 3 or 4 ft, it seems to work.

So question: am I going crazy or has anyone else felt like soundwave just does not connect from as far away anymore? I recently put together a montage, including some clips from about a year ago, and even just some of the clips in my last post I don't think would have connected today.
