Hello. I am hoping that someone can help me find the media from a while ago when my cat was Pet of the Week on Channel 11. It was during the week of August 13-17, 2007 in the state of Texas. The city should be Houston or nearby Houston. She has passed away from cancer, and so it would mean the world to me if someone were to find the media on what she was doing on TV. I have a picture of her as my Reddit profile photo and cover photo, and her name that she came with was Littlefoot because she was a Munchkin cat. Thank you all for your help!

When I was in 3rd Grade, there was a whole couple weeks where we did a unit on water: Aquatic Life, why water is important, that sort of thing.

On one of those weeks, my teacher showed my class a water conservation tape from the late 80s called Waterhog.

The video has a guy in a pig costume and his dorky looking friends spending the entire day wasting water. Meanwhile, some kid is fishing at a lake that is also that universe's only water supply.

The more water that Waterhog and his friends waste, the lower the lake becomes and then when his friends do need the water for an emergency, it's too late. The water supply is gone, the lake has dried up, and Waterhog has to come to grips with having to drink and bathe in his own pee and his dorky friends become chopped up and processed into Soylent Green so their neighborhood can eat and because they were responsible for consuming the entire town's water supply.

Lol I'm just messing with y'all. None of that happens. xD Real talk though, after the lake dries up completely, the kid looks at the camera and says "Don't be a waterhog."

I bring this all up because I have been trying to find that video in its entirety. The only clue I have is another old Subreddit about the tape. Otherwise, it seems to be lost media!

Internet Archive doesn't have it, DailyMotion doesn't have it (not that it matters since I don't use that website with how obnoxious they are about ads interrupting their videos every 5 minutes), not even Everything is Terrible or The Found Footage Festival People seem to have it (and they show a lot of oddball VHS Crap).

I just hope out there is someone with a copy of the tape and that one day they get it uploaded to YouTube for everyone to bask in the video's glorious stupidity I just described. I would hope some grade school or even a public library might have that tape, but considering technology advancing, those kinds of places keeping any of their old VHS Tapes is likely shooting for the moon at this point.

St. Wenceslaus is a film made around 1929–1930 and was the most expensive film ever produced in Czechoslovakia at the time. I've been trying to find a way to watch it, but I can't find it anywhere. What's especially confusing is that many other films directed by Jan S. Kolár are readily available, yet his biggest budget film is nowhere to be seen. Why is St. Wenceslaus so difficult to find, and is there any chance it will become available to watch in the future?

There is clips of this film in the website Ceskatelevize shown for the News, I think this would be a good start to the lead, as far as I am aware, there is two versions of this film:

1. The Original 1930 one (possibly digitalized???)
2. The 2010 restoration effort, which isn't available due to copyright, which as far as I searched can't be bought anywhere.

What is also weird is that this film was big enough to earn a Czech, Portuguese and English Wikipedia page, yet it isn't accessible.

So, I was moving some dvds around to make space for other things on a shelf, and found a dvd for a movie called Stand Off. My grandmother (who owned the movie previously) told me it was a film that a family member had acted in. It was from 2005, from a studio called NB films and was ~17 minutes long. The box also said it was by someone called Justin Morris, who had no imdb page. After a couple of searches of various keywords, I found nothing on this specific studio, or this movie, or Justin Morris. There was a defunct link on the box as well, which did have an internet archive link. (https://web.archive.org/web/20040507050242/http://nbfilms.com/) There are no places to watch films on the website, but you could have watched one of their trailers on the website when it was active and there is a large gallery that mostly doesn't work anymore. If you can find anything I missed or have info on the studio, please let me know.

not much is really known about this film other then that it was supposed to be the first Turkish animated film until MGM threw the original film away while trying to give the film technicolor and currently only these still frames survived to this day.

It's Tadhana, a 1978 animation and the first ever from the Philippines. Some of the experts in here have probably been aware of it for years.

I originally found a Reddit post with a comment about a video they were looking for and eventually found. The video they linked is by now deleted. Copywrite stricken by a company called "PAL Planning Co., Ltd" (originally in kanji but I translated it)

Someone also shared a link to a Japanese video sharing site with the same video but it was copywrite claimed by the same people.

I learned that the clip was from a show called "Honto ni Atta! Noroi no Video" and became interested in finding any kind of clip from it. I know the show was originally aired on TV and the older CDs/VHS are out if print but I figured if people were at one point sharing clips from it then it was archived somewhere right?

As per the dozen or so reviews on the attached page (Thanhauser website, for this lost film), this seems to have been a fairly ambitious movie in the Reincarnated-Lovers melodrama format of that decade.

It’s worth perusing and mourning — AND searching for, if it can possibly be found!!

I’m including a few of those reviews here, for a sense of what contemporary audiences/critics made of it:

ARTICLE, The Moving Picture World, January 27, 1917:

"Valkyrien, the celebrated Danish beauty, stars in the forthcoming Pathé Gold Rooster Play, The Image Maker.

This picture has a very unusual plot, as it deals with pre-existence and tells of a love that lasts through the centuries. Valkyrien in it plays two parts -- the one that of a beautiful Egyptian girl of low degree who wins the love of a great noble, and, secondly, the incarnation of the girl in modern life in America.

Such a story furnishes many opportunities for striking at contrast. Valkyrien's charming personality never appeared to better advantage than in this picture.

The atmosphere of ancient Egypt in the first part of the picture is true to history and furnishes a great contrast to the modern life which is well presented in the latter half. The picture was produced by Thanhouser."

REVIEW by Edward Weitzel, The Moving Picture World, January 27, 1917:

"There is more than ordinary ingenuity displayed by Emmett Mixx, the author of The Image Maker, in weaving the two periods together which are used in the five-reel Gold Rooster Play, in which Valkyrien is the central figure.

The story is one of reincarnation; a prince of the House of Pharaoh and a lowly slave, who were lovers in the distant past, are reunited in the prosaic present, at the side of the tomb in which the Prince of Tsa was buried.

The picture follows the usual photoplay construction, alternating the two periods of time at brief intervals.

This is deftly done, however, and the incidents are numerous and of a gratifying variety. Such a theme demands all the liberty granted to every well regulated romance, and the broad sweeps of color supplied by the followers of the ruler of the Nile and the Arabs of today, in the ancient and modern Egyptian scenes, are in keeping with the character of the story.

The locations have been selected with care: New York, Florida, Cairo, and the sands of Egypt are all made the scenes of the action, and the director has maintained an excellent quality of illusion.

Valkyrien, in The Image Maker, does the best acting of her moving picture career, and is ably supported by Harris Gordon, Arthur Hauer [sic; should be Bauer], Inda Balmer [sic;should be Palmer], and Morgan Jones."

“This story is a mixture of Egyptian scenes, suggesting the story of The Image Maker of Thebes contrasted against a modern situation, with two modern lovers presented as the reincarnation of the Egyptian lovers.

The modern sweetheart was a sculptress and a film star, the lover being the son of wealthy parents idling in Florida. The love-at-first-sight effects which manifested themselves between these two were tied up to the Egyptian romance by having the same characters appear in the Egyptian episodes.

"The action throughout was melodrama, which, while it may prove fairly interesting, will never be considered convincing or gripping.

Most of the time it was just plain movie stuff, and the introduction of a film company making scenes added to the theatre atmosphere which pervaded the entire offering. A number of large exterior sets were built for this production, and they looked very good at a distance.

Unfortunately, the director moved too close to them very frequently, with the result that what was supposed to be portion of the old tombs of Egypt loomed up very plainly as painted canvas and compo board.

In the supporting cast were Inda Palmer, Arthur Bauer and Morgan Jones.

"The Box Office Angle: This thing is different enough that a great many of your patrons may consider it good for that reason, even though it is never anything more than interesting when considered as drama.

If Valkyrien has any box office value in your section, you may be able to do a little business with this, but I wouldn't boost the production too strong except as an interesting study in reincarnation.

I would devote most all of my advertising to questions such as these:

There was this scary story which has now been lost. It’s about a guy who falls in love with a girl and spends a ridiculous amount of money on a wedding ring. At the end he finds out she’s a monster or something like that. She says at the end, “Kiss me beneath the milky twilight” in a very dark tone. I'm trying to compile a list of lost nun films in an effort to better understand the history of Nunsploitation films, the movies that may have inspired it in the dawn of cinema, and what films were made but lost due to censorship or other reasons.

Here's what I have so far:

The White Sister (1915) starring Viola Allen. It was based on a 1905 novel so we know what it was about. It was remade in 1922 and 1933. To me, this is the first known film that would fit the minimal criteria for a Nunsploitation film. In this case, a nun who must choose between her vows and her heart.

The Convent Gate (1913) We have a few stills from this and a brief synopsis, but it's not clear if it laid any groundwork for what would become Nunsploitation films or if it was at all influential.

[EDIT] The Legend of Provence (1913) "A foundling is raised in a convent and becomes a nun there, until she falls in love with a wounded soldier under her care. When she leaves the convent, a statue of the Virgin Mary comes to life and assumes the girl’s appearance to carry on her work." Again we have a few stills, but the film is largely thought to be lost [/EDIT]

Not a lost film, but Haxan (1922) is the film everyone points to as the first Nunsploitation film and it definitely influenced the genre. Elements from Haxan can be seen in Ken Russell's The Devils. Were there others like it?

La Monaca di Monza (1947) starring Barbara Bouchet. Again, we still have stills and posters. It was adapted from a novel and based on a real historic event. It was remade five or six times and the film is considered a staple of the Nunsploitation genre. That said, I have never seen the 1947 version in any form. I suspect it may be lost.

I also suspect there may have been a silent-era version of this story, but that's just speculation. I've never seen any evidence that a Nun of Monza film was made before the 1947 one.

Not Just Another Woman (1974) A widely advertised and theatrically distributed film from the Golden Age of porn, it was never released on home video and is thought to be lost. The film is about a swinger couple. The husband falls in lust with his wife's sister who is a nun and can't stop fantasizing about her.

Tickle My Funny Bone (2006) This film was made but shot down by India's Central Board of Film Censorship after people protested from just seeing the poster. It was never publicly distributed.

I know there are a few more that have slipped my mind. Any others that you know of?

Not much is know from this silent movie ,however it is inspired by Jhon's Milton' 1667 peom "Paradise Lost" furthermore the Friedrich Gottlieb Klopstock's 1748 "Messiad", and the film is divided in four part.Beside that, only a few images still exist as well has the plot that his divide in four episode.The reason of the feature being lost still unkown at this day.
