Should I buy it ?

Connected my laptop to charger,then the charging light glows. screen lid (panel ) was already opened but laptop was shutdown, then I press the power button of the laptop, but laptop didn't start, and light keeps on glowing even when charger is removed, now laptop is not booting no matter what I do , (with/ with out charger, pressing the power button and opening the lid etc) the light keeps on glowing but laptop wont start. I have faced this problem many times , fixed it by disconnecting and connecting the battery, so why its keep happening and how to fix it ?

I currently have an old Acer Aspire 3 (A315-51) with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM, a 1 TB HDD, and an Intel Core i5-7200U (7th gen), which has been lying around for a while since I bought a newer gaming laptop. was cross-shopping this against a zenbook and honestly a macbook pro 14 before landing here mostly for price. battery is legitimately good for light work, browser tabs and docs gets me most of a workday without hunting for an outlet. fan does kick in under any real load though, not silent by any means. build feels more solid than i expected for the price point, no flex in the keyboard deck. still testing thermals under sustained load, will update

İ dont know what should i say. i took it to the two computer technician first says charging socket should be replaced second technician says "there is no problem in your laptop and you adapter is cheap " I don't which technician is saying true . The adapter tip gets terribly hot when ı use but I didn't care because I was playing games so I thought it was normal until saw melted case ( never happened like this until 5 days ago ) and there is brown mark on tip , idk should i keep continue to use because I'm drawing something with graphic tablet this is my only laptop I have
