I mean she doesn't know Lee backstory or what she went through exactly. Plus the fact that it looks like Ran has feeling for Leez from the way he is worried about her when she sacrificed a lot to be with him.

Fanfest 2026 - Voting!

Post image
40 Upvotes

Don't wait for tarakafication, vote for what YOU want to make for fanfest week! Pick 7 prompts in the voting survey before July 17, 11:59 PM PST.

Please only vote for prompts that you would to create for and only vote once!

If you don't see your prompt in the survey it could be because:

  1. It is overly specific to a single character
  2. It is overly specific to one type of fanwork (ie it would only work as art or writing)
  3. It is too similar to another prompt and has been merged together
  4. It's not possible for people who aren't comfortable with making NSFW pieces to contribute to the prompt
  5. I made a mistake (please send a message on the tumblr)

Maruna is such a time bomb(Funny)

I just realized that since Older Maruna read all the records that "Time Leez" gave him of basically everyone and both Marunas sort of share that info, it would be the funniest thing if Younger Maruna just started spreading/outing Gods and Nastikas private histories to each other.

I mean, if the universe wasn't going to end soon, just imagine all the Gods and Nastikas stuck in 1 room and Younger Maruna just saying shit; I feel like it would make as the funniest scene in Kubera history. And the great thing is that Younger Maruna literally wouldn't care.

It'd be like a co-worker that's going to quit just outing everybody's private messages at the end-of-year party, like it would just be soo funny.

Question Good translations?

I've been reading for a couple days now and am at chapter 68 with the Webtoon translation. It hasn't been terrible I don't think but I've read that there are apparently better ones. Could someone please give a link if that's the case. Thank you bye.

Edit: I've tried looking for some myself but a bunch of the sites have missing chapters and what not.

Season 2 episode 20 and 23: Claude's cards

Continuing on the rereading theories and questions !

In season 2 episode 20, we see Claude suspicious cards reading.

I'm sure there are many theories on the meaning of the cards but a quick search through the subreddit did not show any, so let's see what we can understand. If you find a post on this I would be interested !

WARNING: this post will contain massive spoilers for late season 3, proceed with caution.

The first set of cards show the immortal, Ananta, and the Sword of Return.
Considering what we know near the end of S3 I think the three are about a single person, and that person is Leez. She has the name of an immortal astika (Kubera), the soul of Ananta, and the sword of Return. Quite litteral, in hindsight. It's also masterful foreshadowing. Currygom you did it again, you magnificent bastard. In addition, Claude say it shows Asha's "losing cards".

Starting from there, I'm making the hypothesis that all sets of cards show a single person.

For the second set of cards I think it's a bit more complicated. The first card is the knight, the second is the victim, and we don't have a text for the third but since it shows a bloodstain it's probably death/disaster (Claude is also explicit about it, saying they will all die). This could refer to Teo, who is a fighter (knight), is sacrificed for the suras to access the city (victim and death). But I don't find this explanation very satisfying. Any ideas ?

The next set is shown in episode 23: the madman, nastika, and immortal. With informations from late S3 I think this is about God Kubera / Manasvin: the nastika part being Manasvin, the immortal the astika Kubera, and the madman could be a reference to the multiple GKs around giving an appearance of multiple personalities.

Anyway please share your theories ! I feel this part has always been rather mysterious and I'd love to hear what others think.

Season 2 episode 13: was Asha unable to talk ?

Hello ! I've been rereading to enjoy the finale in the best conditions and some small things are bothering me. Here's hoping for some theories or things I missed. I'll try to split questions into different posts. Starting with one I really can't figure out: season 2 episode 13, the introduction to silent magic. After showing she is very skilled at sky silent magic and can redirect lightning even in the chaos field around Kalibloom, Asha stays silent when asked by Ran why she did not use this ability to avoid electrocuting his allies on their way to Kalibloom. Then she says she made a mistake because of how long it has been since she used sky silent magic. Now I'm assuming it is not an hesitation because of Asha's absurd thinking speed. I'm also assuming her explanation is false because she's so precise. So either she did it on purpose and it's intended as a joke for the readers, or she was prevented from talking by a god. The joke explanation feels too easy and I can't figure out why she wouldn't have been able to use silent magic. Is she trying to preserve what's left of her humanity ? But then why not just say that ? And why use it anyway later ? Would love to hear your theories !

Webtoon One of the greatest series ive ever read

Post image
80 Upvotes

I always used to see kubera on manhwa websites and thought it was slop even when i was told it was an amazing series i just couldn’t bring myself to read it because the art in s1 and a majority of s2 was terrible.

I started kubera around 2 weeks ago? I don’t really remember tbh ive read so much manhwa in the last 3 years so i was kinda limited on new series to try so i picked up kubera.

Im so glad i did. ngl s1 was kind of a snoozefest and so did s2 but when it picked up my god it got good s3 is genuinely the greatest stretch of manhwa chapters ive ever read the story comes together so perfectly characters are written amazingly theres so much to praise about the story the last time a manhwa ever pulled at my heart strings was forever ago and kubera did that multiple times in s3.

Anyways, im glad i picked up the webtoon when i did i caught up to s3 so ill probably wait for s3 to finish before restarting it.

I cant wait to see how the story plays out.

Webtoon what do u guys think are the coolest aspects/concepts in kubera? will contain spoilers Spoiler

Please list as many as u can think of. Kubera has so much in-depth lore that’s flawed by me constantly forgetting bits of info since there’s actually too much.
Below is mostly a giant yap of what I like

Things I really like are like how

gods were originally humans

losers of the previous universe are gods

humans were originally rlly op but they were too kind and forgiving that the Creator had to purge them because they were an embarrassment of her ego

so humans genuinely got the hotfix patch that nerfed them to the ground

like ancient humans when they first died to suras they advanced EXTEEMELY fast and quickly had high level sura killers and they had op technology

and the fact that it shows us their beginning, middle, and end

and the energy, the mana in the verse, was revealed to BE the deceased ancient humans race

it’s not like average mana in manhwa where magicians can magically generate

yea its not TOO super in depth in how its actually generated but nonetheless a concept that most series don’t do. And they don’t have to do it. But Kubera decides to make it more interesting

AND on top of that, they’re relevant because BRILITH was one of the AHR reincarnated, so it doesn’t feel like AHR is bloated information because it’s actually important for her lore

The Top and The Bottom(total annihilation?)- I do lowkey think it’s a lil complicated but I like how consistent the rules of it is.

Maruna meeting the AHRS: was another rlly cool interaction and deeper lore of the verse

the whole concept of ananta and how he led a web of events intertwine and happen and how he highly connects to the main MC

what other concepts do yall think are cool? Leave them down please I definitely remember them but I can’t think of them on the top of my head
