How do you guys steer rentals? Smooth as silk or more aggressive and on the reactive side of things?

Racing Kart Question I am having trouble with my MCP brakes
I recently purchased a go kart not sure what brand or what it’s called. Came with MCP brakes with the lines all cut, not sure how to get it back together? Do I just put new hose and bleed it and hope there’s no trash in there ? How should I go with this

Rental Karting Question What should I prioritize as a beginner
Ive been driving rental karts a bit and I plan on driving more often.
My goal is to race my own kart in a year or something.
So I’m wondering what I should prioritize; getting clean laps and trying to improve lap time as much as possible. Or try to go to rental karting when there are as many people as possible on the track to improve my race craft?

Racing Kart Question How do you all track your lap time progress? (built a free thing for it, want honest feedback)
Genuinely curious how people here track their improvement — notebook, spreadsheet, memory? 😅
I got so obsessed with beating my times that I ended up building a free tool for it called DriverIntel — you log your laps and it shows your best/average, a progress graph per track, and gives you AI coaching on where you're losing time. 2,700+ tracks in there, totally free.
I'm solo and still early, so I really want honest feedback from actual karters: is something like this useful, or do you prefer doing it your own way? What's missing?
