A shark was seen near a popular South Shore surf break Monday afternoon. The Honolulu Ocean Safety Department has confirmed that an aggressive eight-foot tiger shark was seen around Flies surf zone, in the waters off the Kakaako Waterfront area.

An alleged thief stole from a Kakaako cafe and warehouse Friday afternoon, and it was caught on surveillance cameras. The footage comes from Cafe Vintage on Waimanu Street and shows the alleged person in the back area of their cafe, where newly arrived items are stored, at around 5:45 p.m.
