Im looking for a fantasy story that goes like this. Mc mother is a well known adventurer or whatever. But it came at the cost of abandoning her child(mc) at a young age. Leading to mc disliking his mother. Mother eventually return and wants to build a relationship with mc, but he hates her

I've always assumed that the people from Isekai anime are "Europeans" because most fantasy worlds in anime tend to be inspired by medieval Europe. But then I realized that they speak Japanese and noone acts surprised when the Japanese MC is summoned into their world. I think if they were "Europeans" they would act surprised upon seeing a Japanese man for the first time.

I'm not referring to a particular anime, but to the isekai genre in general. I didn't consider it before, but it seems people living in fantasy anime could be either "White" or "Asian".

Does anyone remember this show?

Hero Summoning is a common trope, which is an example where Hero Slavery is well represented.

Do you have any opinions based on the showing of Slavery, when the slave is specifically the hero?

The Isekai itself was super generic , I might remember some details wrong as I don't even remember it's name. The guy is isekaied, maybe reborn, not sure , he gains a princess a waifu another waifus tries to kill him, but he is op and forgives her , so she becomes howls waifu too.

It has some generic arcs,.probably has slavery, because there comes what I remember , he somehow saves a beats girl and she is surprised a human saved her , when he asks she says because racism.then he finally notices that most slaves ( he was fine with slavery) are actually beast people. Then he confronts his waifus about what they think about beast people and they say " yeah fuck them, inferior race" and he seems to be just a bit dissapointed.

I want to see if the translation continued, or at least read it from the start to see if it had more clues to the racism.

Here you go ! I don't get the trope most of the time because it kind of feels forced so I was glad this meme did a pretty good satire on the whole debacle

I only really saw it from a reddit comment years ago, I didn't dare check it. According to that comment. It was a mc who was isekaid, become a chef. And there's this girl character who is a descendent of some ancient previous isekai hero.

Now here's the thing. For some reason the royalty there developed a culture and tradition for the royalty to eat the hero's descendents (Idk if they give powers or something). The hero descendent thinks its her purpose. The mc relented and cooked her for the royalty instead of breaking the likely manipulated evil tradition.

That's all the information I recall from a reddit comment talking about it years ago. it's been on my mind for years.

The MC i believe reincarnated in a world where the gender roles are reversed. The women are stronger and treat men as inferior/slaves.

The mc had a power, the reincarnation god gave him, that makes women "feel good" when he touches them

I kinda dropped it when a maid brought him to a rich spoiled princess, and he refused to lick her shoes. The maid had to bail him out.

a guys gets isekai'd into another world with his family (step-mom and step-sisters) and he manipulates a queen using his late night bed session skills ( which was taught by his father and there is something about him hating his father because he uses late night bed sessions skills ( had to type this way bcs of mod ) to leech money off of rich milfs or something like that i forgot the details) and he has a pretty strong magical abilities too.

Been writing a draft of a Isekai story for awhile now and was wondering where is a good place to post it once I've proofread​​​​ and adjusted it.

For anyone curious, the title is Forever In Another World.

the story is about a man who lived in a fantasy​​​ isekai ​for over 1000 years and he is dealing with the deepest depression of his life struggling to exist, then the plot is people slowly​​ attempt to pull him out of his depression and remind him that life is worth living. ​

Think about it. Under Takao Abo's direction, Season 1 gave us some of the most emotionally devastating moments in modern isekai — Naofumi's betrayal, the raw rage of the Cursed Shield, the haunting atmosphere of pure despair mixed with fragile hope. Abo understood the assignment: a dark, psychological character drama wrapped in fantasy armor.

Now imagine that same visionary staying at the helm for Season 2 and beyond.

· Would the Spirit Turtle arc finally get the love it deserves from anime-only fans?
· Would the Rage Shield in Season 2 feel even more terrifying and emotionally charged than Season 1's version?
· Would the new world and Kizuna's crew actually feel intriguing and alive instead of rushed and forgettable?
· Could Season 2 have been superior to Season 1 in terms of depth, tone, and emotional impact — maybe even darker?

And here's the big one: would The Rising of the Shield Hero have stayed at the top of the isekai throne, rivaling Mushoku Tensei and Re:Zero in popularity and respect, instead of fading after the Season 2 disappointment?

Personally, I believe Abo's vision, combined with real production time and a committed team, could have turned this series into an all-time dark fantasy classic. But I want to hear YOUR take.

So the fact that they both appear in the manga for Reprise of the spear hero proves that it's Canon to The light novels for Rising Of The Shield Hero And not the web novels

This is a very early pre-Alpha trailer of the game Dreamion and only has the basic gameplay with most of the systems, Fighting, jobs, adventurers guild, dungeon. This is not self-promotion, but a request for Feedback.

I value every feedback greatly (honest and constructive) on the world and the 2.5d graphics.
The fighting style is more like Skyrim, currently has no dodge or shielding, only swing attacks and archery and mage spells.

The main questions are:
1.) Is this graphical style good enough if the gameplay is fun and the Isekai like Dungeon exploring (like in Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None | Dan Machi | Reincarnated as a Slime) is fun?*
2.) "Gothic"(the RPG game by Piranha Bytes) like societal based guilds and communities and dialogs form a big part of the atmosphere in Dreamion. Is it useless to continue that route and putting a lot of effort into it, if the graphics are not real 3d?

My fear is to over-commit on the game as it is and not find an audience at all in the end due to the graphic style of 2.5d NPCs and monsters.
