Hi,
I just bought the AsRock B580 and I just want to know if you have some tips for everyday use like settings or overclocking.

Hello, I currently have an Intel arc a750 8gb gpu, is it worth Upgrading to a B570 or B580? Or should I just save up a little more money and go for something else that would give me a bigger performance boost? I still play in 1080p.

Version : 1.7.10
Forge Version : v7.10.99.99
Specs :
Intel Arc B580
R9 5950x
Samsung 980 PRO
GIGABYTE B550M DS3H AC
32GB 3000 mt/s RAM
Decided to try and make a small lucky block modpack to play with my friends and naturally used curseforge + forge to make the modpack, boot it up, and it starts at 110 fps for around a second or two, then it just gradually degrades over 20-30 seconds and keeps going down until it gets less than 2 fps, at which point the game is beyond unplayable, I've gone through so many diagnostics it's hard to count, tried so many fixes to no avail. It's so strange because a fresh vanilla install works completely fine running 200+ fps but as soon as forge touches it its like everything just implodes.

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to determine whether this issue is specific to my system or affects other Intel Battlemage users running Linux.
I'm not looking for technical support at this point. I'm mainly trying to find out whether anyone else can reproduce the same issue.
My system:
• GPU: Intel Arc B570 (Battlemage)
• Distribution: CachyOS
• Desktop: KDE Plasma 6 (Wayland)
• Mesa: 26.1.4 / 26.1.5
• Kernel: 7.1.3-2-cachyos
• Proton tested:
- Proton 10.0-4
- GE-Proton 11-4
The game consistently freezes while navigating equipment-related menus, especially while:
• Forging equipment
• Comparing armor
• Changing equipment sets
Immediately after the freeze, Wine reports that the application is not responding, followed a few seconds later by an "Unhandled exception" dialog.
At exactly the same time, the kernel reports:
```text
xe 0000:05:00.0: [drm] Tile0: GT0: Engine reset: engine_class=rcs
xe 0000:05:00.0: [drm] Tile0: GT0: Timedout job ... in MonsterHunterWi
xe 0000:05:00.0: [drm] Xe device coredump has been created
```
The issue is reproducible with both Mesa 26.1.4 and Mesa 26.1.5.
I have already opened reports for both Intel xe and Proton so developers can track the issue:
**Intel xe:**
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/xe/kernel/-/issues/8641
**Proton:**
https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/8206
If anyone with an Intel Battlemage GPU can reproduce this issue, I'd really appreciate knowing:
• Your GPU model (B570, B580, etc.)
• Distribution
• Mesa version
• Kernel version
• Proton version
• Whether the game freezes in the same equipment menus
Even if your system doesn't crash, I'd also appreciate knowing whether you're able to use these menus normally. That information is just as valuable for comparison.
Thanks in advance!

Might this still be a consideration if this is running on Linux and all the LLM processing is handled by the B70?
Bottleneck would be a PCIe 3.0 slot

Hello. I've been using an Intel Arc A750 LE GPU for the past month and since then, I have observed some weird behavior. For starters, my browser (Zen, Firefox-based) sometimes loses rendering for a few second and I can only see the browser window background instead of the tab content. Also, some games are hard crashing the system. For example, if I play Anno 1800, at some point the screen might just go black and the PC restarts.
After restarts, I tried to dig through the Windows logs and it has reported multiple GPU watchdog failures, including LiveKernelEvent 141 (GPU engine timeout) and 0x116 VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE blue screens.
Did I just get a faulty unit or has anyone experienced similar symptoms and has a fix? Any input is appreciated.
