Finally deciding to ditch combustion for health reasons and want to move to a dry herb vaporizer. Just to clear it up first: I don't want to go the DynaVap route. I really don't want to deal with torches or induction heaters—I just want a proper, battery-powered electronic device that I can turn on and sip.
With all the strict customs/PECA stuff, I’m pretty paranoid about how to actually get a good device safely.
Couple of quick questions for the veterans here:
Where do you guys buy your electronic vapes from? International shipping is obviously a trap. Are domestic sites like Giggle Grass legit and safe to order from? Any other trusted local plugs or sites that actually carry stock inside India?
What's the absolute best electronic device to get? I keep reading about the Storz & Bickel Venty, Mighty+, and Arizer Solo 3. Are these ultra-premium electronic vapes worth the risk/price here? What's your daily driver if you want clean flavor and heavy clouds?
What about maintenance gear? For battery vapes, are the daily essentials easily available in India? I mean stuff like extra screens, O-rings, replacement mouthpieces, and 99% ISO alcohol for cleaning out the chamber. Can you just find this stuff on Amazon India or local shops?

The final policy is released. Let me break it down.

You need 100cr investment, 3 acre continuous land, few more lakhs in fees and permits and renewals.

You cannot sell flowers but use it to make medicines (which has to be approved by AYUSH and CDSCO respectively). Perhaps Charas and Ganja are excluded from selling it directly.

License duration 1 year, 2nd renewal 2cr rs and it is subjective.

If you somehow manage to fulfill all the above and start growing. Good luck with getting approval of medicines from CDSCO and AYUSH (5 years plus), sorry forgot to mention it is also a capital and technical intensive process.

I’ve been completely out of the scene for the last 4 years — wasn’t using anything, so I had no idea what’s been happening in the market. Recently though, my Instagram has been flooded with ads for THC gummies, THC oils, capsules, and all kinds of similar products. In just the last 3–4 days I’ve seen 15–20 different new brands popping up, all selling these products.

What’s surprising is how openly they’re advertising and how many new companies have suddenly appeared. Most of them seem to be asking for a prescription or consultation on their websites. A lot of these brands also appear to be based out of Jabalpur or Madhya Pradesh.

I’m genuinely confused about what changed. Has there been some update in the law recently? Or have these companies found some kind of loophole that allows them to sell THC products now? I remember things being much stricter earlier, so this sudden surge feels very abrupt.

Would really appreciate if someone who’s been following the scene or knows about the legal side can explain what’s actually happening. Are these products operating in a gray area? Is there something specific about Madhya Pradesh’s policies that’s enabling this? Or is this just aggressive marketing of hemp-derived/low-THC stuff?
