I want to add a Hawk to my collection but I don't like most figures, but this seems good

I've realised that in modern stories post Venditti we haven't gotten to see Carter and Shayera use any of their past life knowledge in anything. The last time we got to see Carter do that was in the 2002 one notably the vampire oneshot

I wanna hear some hot takes from us actual fans who have read the character. Mine is; I don't think the Hawkworld designs for the Wingmen are good. The uniform, helmet, and weapons looks good, but the wings looking like wings on a plane don't look good.

I've read the Geoff Johns run, and in there Hawkman was rough and angry a lot, but Carter was more mellowed out. And in the Venditti run he is basically all mellowed out as Hawkman, can still beat the snot out of anything, but he is less angry all the time. I've also noticed that he really likes to praise and talk about Shayera. But how would you sum up his personality?

I remember seeing a video on YouTube of the many great quotes of Hawkman and the person who made it just used his adaptation quotes, nothing from the comics. So maybe we should do that, a thing where people can comment their favorite quotes.

I have both TPBs of Savage Hawkman from new 52. I liked them. The beginning was weird but it got good by the end. I mean real good. But I hear it gets a bad rap. May grab rebirth run but also want to know where he is at now. I grabbed the JSA run after absolute power but he seemed like a bit of a side character at best

Hawkman commission from Stephen Sadowski (2017)

This was my first commission I asked for after starting Hawkworld.org back in 2016. Stephen told me it was Hawkman yelling out a battle cry, but I can't help seeing Hawkman flying in great joy, free in the sky with his hawk friends. I love this piece.
