Twice I used his keepsake on my first region in order to fish for the legendary, but both times I never saw him after that initial time. Just bad RNG or is he considered different?

Edit: Does the game have a "main god" that is decided no matter what godboon you had? For example: I went through the surface, got H, then when in the city I was met with 3 Poseidons, 1 Aphro, 1 Apollo and 1 Haphaestus. Then I kept seeing Poseidon after that.

Almost finished Hades 2 (going for 100%) and I'm in love with the character designs. Has Supergiant games released an artbook or a video detailing why characters look how they do?

Being so hades the game coded, I kind of forgot how they are depicted in a pretty goofy and funny way in the games that makes them fit the world.

Seeing how horrifying characters like Polyphemus and Circe were depicted in this movie was so interesting when I kept relating them to how the chars were depicted in the game.

But damn that scream and that scene and everything was so captivating.

Hi everyone, working towards my first 50 fear surface clear and running into way more issues with the Vow of Time than I did with the UW. In particular I’m barely making it out of Ephyra/Poly and then often spend 2+ min on Eris/Prom which leads to me dying to those fights from time. Are those reasonable times for those fights? Do I need to clear regular rooms faster or speed up the bosses? Any tips on efficiency would be appreciated!

I have played hades 1 all the way through the second objective about 3 times, but on ps5 and switch, so when the game went in sale on steam (you can get hades 1 and 2 for like 30 usd through July 27 btw). I figured I’d try out modding it since I’ve been getting into that more with other games, and I gotta say… IT’S SO PEAK!! I’m gonna note some real good QOL/combat mods that I think any experienced player will enjoy, along with links to the nexus mods page (Note that all mods require the Mod Importer and the Mod Utility in order to function, This Video is an in depth guide to install and make mods function)

1. OlympusExtra: this mod adds Hestia, Apollo, Hera, and Hephaestus to the game (not the hades 2 counterparts, this mod came out before hades 2.) each god has unique voice acting, boons, status effects, unique attacks, prophecies, duo boons, and keepsakes. So far Hephaestus has been my favorite, giving you shields, and recovery methods much like hades 2, and his keepsake forces the next room to have a hammer which can be rerolled if you have any. I cannot recommend this mod enough it is a MUST HAVE for returning players or hell mode enjoyers (note that certain skills from these new olympians will make boons from base game olympians get grayed out if they interfere with each other)
2. Mirror Of Night Extended: This mod revamps the mirror of night to be MUCH more powerful, giving you more levels for every single skill, including Death Defiances and dashing and everything. Costs are also altered so its not a slog at first, but later values can get crazy high, this is a MUST have for hell mode cuz it encourages you to think about strategic posistioning even more, when your back attacks are dealing +200% damage.
3. LootChoiceExtender: Does what it says, makes almost every loot box (boons, Daedelus hammer, and chaos curses) give you extra options, default value is a minimum of 1 extra or a max of 2extra but that can be configured (very nice when you want more options in a given run)
4. MorePomOptions: same as above but for poms specifically, cuz number 3 didnt do that for some reason
5. Hammer Buff: Is pretty simple, alters hammer boons to make the more lackluster skills more viable
6. ResourcesScaleWithHeat: This mod makes it so for each heat you add, the more resources you recieve (for every 1 heat you add, increases darkness and gems by 5%, so 5 heat is a 25% boost, for every 8 heat increases keys and nectar by 1, so 16 heat gives a total of 3 keys, and for every 16 heat, increases boss rewards by 1, so 16 heat gives a total of 2 diamonds, blood, or ambrosia) again, crazy good with hell mode, and is super nice in conjunction with the mirror mod, since that one needs a lot more darkness to max out.
7. RoomSecretIndicator: Drops large text near the bottom of the screen after a fight that tells you any secrets in the room, such as a fishing point, pool of purging, or charon shop, so you dont miss or forget in the moment
8. DD Aspects (Requires Aspect Extender to function): Adds 1 brand new aspect to each of the infernal arms, I wont list them all, but they are really cool (do not recieve unique hammer upgrades)
9. AutomaticPerfectCatch: Title, automatically gets the perfect catch every time you fish, for the people who have a hard time with the timing or just want that perfect every time
10. ShinyPots: Gives all golden pots a visible aura, making them impossible to miss
11. HealOnKill: Recovers 1% of your max hp for every enemy you kill (must be at 100 max hp to receive a benefit) this can be increased in the config
12. NewBroker: Makes the broker more efficient, with multiplier buttons to make purchases easier, as well as a reverse trading mode (for example if you need keys you can activate reverse trading mode and sell 1 nectar for 5 keys). this also works on limited time offers in the shop, letting you reverse trade those as well
13. MinotaurLover: Sounds weird I know but all it does is makes the asterius fight more likely when selecting a miniboss, so you have to deal with the butterfly ball less often because fuck the butterfly ball

These are all the mods I use, and I really think they massively improve the game, and honestly I dont think I can play the base game, even after only 3 hrs of play. The only downside to all of these is that (at least in my opinion) the game can get a little easy when you havent reached the really high heat, since you can get 3 death defiances very quickly. however when testing on higher heat I had a great time, the battles still felt stressful without feeling impossible.

I couldn't get into another game or anime for a bit. Dave the Diver dlc and new kaisen with slayer movie on the way finally perked me back up. Switch 2 yet to impress other than $1.99 pikuniku and tanks. Pokopia not for me. Hopefully dk picks up soon.

Anyone experience this before? I'm playing on the built on keyboard of my Macbook Air M2. Sometimes it will lag, other times the game will think I'm pressing a directional key when I'm not. Other times all inputs go dead. Is this a known problem?

The red aiming circle appears before the omega attack is charged. This a bit confusing at least for KBM player like me — my timing is off because I release the omega just a bit too early.

Supergiant please make the red aiming circle charge up same pace as omega attack is charged.

i'm night's champion. all relationships maxed out. every prophecy fulfilled, but i haven't gotten the new prophecy that i've read unlocks after a 24-heat dream dive clear...

one more prophecy to fulfill i believe. is there anything i'm missing to get this one to populate?

so in the plot, getting Gigaos was important for the story because you need to use a weapon Zag also had acces too… but couldn’t you just borrow nemesis’ sword, steal the rail after beating eris, or just use the random weapons in zags room? Why did it have to be Gigaros, like the hardest to be for Mel to get?
