Some American Bullseye guns, like .38 special 1911s and the SW Model 52-1, for example, are chambered in .38 special, but can only fit wadcutter ammo with the projectile flush with the brass. I was wondering if it would be possible with the new ammo logic system to limit a gun to only use a specific type of ammo, or whether something like that would just have to be able to take any type of .38 special for it to function in the games logic.

The white misshapen looking cores aren't like any of the cores dropped by sosigs. I looked at every steak guide and reddit thread I could find and nothing tells me how to unlock it.

Obviously fluid dynamics and everything would be massive complicated, so I was wondering if instead a simpler system that kinda fudges the physics would work? For example, have a chance system where say every inch of penetration has a chance of curving/veering off its straight path calculated based on bullet speed and weight, and every say half inch a velocity check is calculated based off of a loss of velocity the further something penetrated, again based on weight and speed. For wound channels, have a line follow the trajectory of the bullet, and for certain type of ammo move the main cavity closer or further away from
the entry point. The main cavity could be a pre-modeled thing that changes in size and position accordingly. This way, there are still real physics based interactions, but its not a constant heavy fluid dynamics computation that would cook older machines. Any thoughts?

As in, Titanfall or Halo or Helldivers guns. Because I’m currently clearing them all out from my modlist and it feels like burying my son

"What if a vietnam rifle met the iraqi war and then met 2026?"
yeah idk, i just thought that since its got the front triangular sight gas block and the sopmod and 20 rd mags itd be some alternate early 2000s/ vietnam rifle, but I honestly dig it, idk if anyone else does, but yeah, even the 1911, I wanted to make it so that its loosely based off Vietnam or the Iraq war rifles but a heck more modernised.
I added the holosun laser module and that gigantic zenit flashlight cos nothing screams pre to early 2000s like humungous accessories.
but yeah, the ModulAR mod is sick.
lemme know what you guys think, its my first ever time taking a pic like this, I dont know how it turned out honestly lol, just pointed the camera and took pics.

Hey I've been playing this game for like 3 years and have over 1000 hours been running into a major issue the whole time.
Is there a particular reason the iron sights for the C93 are ranged for 420 meters
This is borderline unplayable and I will be refunding.
Ps much love Anton can't wait for h3vr2

this is the antons hand, a 1 of 1 custom made assault rifle built for pulverizing any sosigs standing in your way
external 3d sight to help you aim in perilous situations and a couple real backups in case any of them are shot out - also features built in night vision goggles as seen at the top of the 3rd story rail and a handy grenade launcher (suppressor is also included for stealth purposes, but im not sure how far that will get you with this gun)

Hello, someone could assist me?
After the 1.0 update i couldn't add custom TnH characters mods. Other mods realeted to TnH still work, like: custom music, sounds, weapons, maps etc.
Anyone has an idea?

Why sosigs instead of bodies this question has been bugging me for 3 years I understand that it might be too realistic but I think gaming is out of that sensitive phase someone asked Anton and he said No never or maybe it's hard to make bodies look realistic and u get a uncanny valley effect or it looks cheap asking for a friend

I've been playing this game for a while now on and off.
let me start off by saying that I don't live in a country that generally has firearms, and right off the bat I can say without a doubt that this game's guns feel incredible.
I get that it's mainly a gun simulator - so from there on out most of my criticisms are probably not worth considering because for 20 bucks you can't really complain with something that achieves this much in terms of gunplay. I used to be big on Arma 3 for reference so I've always liked sim stuff.
My problem is - well, it really feels like H3 is literally just the guns. Everything surrounding the game besides this is absolutely borderline mediocre. For one, I get that people online like the sausage guys but I hate them. Ruins most of the game-modes and takes me out of it for almost every encounter. I'd think there would be at least a mod or to to change them out but I haven't had any luck with that. It would be significantly cooler to shoot something that at-least resembles a person in terms of geometry - but well the community for this game seems to think otherwise.
Second, most of the physics outside of the guns feels clunky. Throwing stuff, grabbing stuff - and the likes. I've tweaked the controls to no end and it never stops feeling clunky. Not to mention the amount of times I've had stuff straight up fall through the ground - especially in rotweiners. If you drop something in this game, in the majority of situations you just cannot pick it back up. There's no fall damage. The movement feels robotic the majority of the time.
The maps look childish and un-interesting. It's all rough geometry and too large and big for anything remotely fun to happen in them. You just walk for 80% of the time and then you spend the rest of the time hiding behind big squares or big poorly textured walls.
The majority of the game is just shooting ranges. I mean, I don't really have a problem with those, they're fine. But what's the point of having like 10 of them and no actual maps?
Take and hold is the closest thing to an actual game here and you, as I said prior - spend most of it just walking around. The institute is the nicest map but it is way too big! I want smaller, closer quaters, fun encounters. Genuinely every other game-mode I've tried has disappointed me. It feels ultra barebones - like a tech demo.
I've tried some of the mods for the game but the mod scene is a total mess of mods that are either too old to work, not on the same source (they moved from wherever to thunderstore? so I don't even know where to download the mods I want most of the time. I really don't like overwolf either or the thunderstore mod manager whatever that crap is called. I don't want other software running to get mods in my game). though I did get a bunch of them to try to fix my complaints. Even with smaller TnH maps though, I just couldn't have the experiences I wanted to have because the physics genuinely feels so clunky and bad outside of the guns.
I feel like I'm missing something here perhaps because I've never been to an in-real life gun-range so the activity this game tries to replicate is entirely lost on me in the first place. I'm not trying to knock on people who seem to get a lot out of it. I feel like I should be one of those people but I just don't get it. This whole experience really just feels like incredible guns, and everything else outside of it is frustrating, poorly thought through or outright bad.
