As title says. I've played for quite some time now but with huge breaks in between. Thats why when I come back and try to clear my inventory i often delete some items that I think are not needed for anything or i simply dont remember (I know). As I get more into the game it turns out that they were not so useless after all.

I probably got started collections for Ad Infinitum, Eikasia or maybe even some other legendaries, but Im worried that I deleted some items that was required. I know that if it is unlocked in the achivement tab then its ok to delete but what if that specific item has to be combined or used with other objects in the game? Can I loot it again? Like for example Gigantic Ice Elemental Core needed for legendary back that I have to bring back to the fractal.

How do I know i screw up and how to recover it?

Hi! So little back story: I started playing GW2 in November. Played around with a bunch of different classes. Played good bit of WvW/PvP and have been having a blast! Recently I started and fell I. Love with p/p deadeye (pistols go brrrr) well with the current wizard vault thingy I decided to start working on the legendary pistol “Quip” it looks super cool and I love the little step animation it has.

As for my question : once I obtain Quip can I wardrobe change my other pistol to match or do I have to craft another one. I hate having mismatched weapons if they are of the same weapon type.

I moved over from WoW and I know for the longest you couldn’t transmog legendaries so I wasn’t sure if it was similar in GW2

So Ive been cleaning up my inventory, is it okay to destroy/ sell skins (it ask me to reconfirm by typing so I got scared to destroy it. it was the radiant vambrace from the achievement milestone) and as for achievement items is it okay to sell them? (like the one on ad infinitum achievement items) I also have books which I dont know what to do, like Zinn's Study Guide, Divine Biomes, The Warclaw. etc.

I got the new multi-record GW2 vinyl today. I noticed Zojja's golem's name (track 11) is a bit off in the song titles.

I just did chalice of tears cause Im working on aurora and the return to achievements.

I hate JPS so after more than an hour , I was so happy when I finally got to that chest .

I almost started to cry fr when I click on the chest and it doesn't let me open it because it says I didn't touch all checkpoints.

I did it with a video and made sure to check the progress of the checkpoints every time on the buff bar.

So, I got a bug or does the daily reset in the middle of it has something to do with the painfull problem I encountered?

started this quest a long time ago, and I'm finally deciding to do it. Been doing fractals for months and beat swampland dozens of times. I beat it again yesterday, but there is no moss in my inventory. I checked GW2efficiency for "clump" "moss" and "swamp" and nothing is popping up. Any ideas? (also I know the highlighted item is not for the clump, I just wanted to show that swampland has been completed)

Looking at Snowcrows as a reference do I really need Soto expansion to run this build? Im just not understanding why its saying soto expansion is required

I'm curious how the GW2 community defines different types of players.

At what point would you consider someone a beginner, an average player, or a hardcore player?

What do you base it on?

• Mastery Points?
• Achievement Points?
• Completion of difficult achievements?

I'm interested to hear what criteria you personally use.

Lately I've pivoted more into PvP after getting a bit tired of grinding open world and raids/fractals. I always loved the role of supports in any MMORPG game and especially here in Gw2.

Any new players reading this post please note that any and all classes / specs are valuable and can be played multiple ways, there are just some of the ones I personally enjoy the most playing with in 5v5 PvP.

Huge shout out to skilled players plating these specs, you really make my Mirage shine by providing safety. No particular order: Scrapper, Paragon, Firebrand, Luminary, Specter, Scourge and Druid.

I am not saying these are meta picks or that every player playing these specializations is good, but I feel a lot more confident seeing them on the same side during fights.

All that being said, dear Deadeye, Daredevil's and Galeshot's, know that I will always be teleporting away from your drama :D

Been a looong time I have been farming rifts in VoE for token to that Restless Captain. No drops not a chance… already been farming them for 2 weeks. My question is; do Rifts in Shipwreck Strand reward Gloves Token or am I just doing something stupid? Help needed since there are no info I could find. Appreciate it ✌🏻

I've been watching Pile of Recycled Siege Equipment prices as I save up for my second Strife Unending. Imagine my surprise when I see the price is down almost 10 gold and I happen to have one on a character and it wasn't from opening a box.

Did they add them back to the loot table for taking things or is this possibly from the rush event currency?

I was standing in Lions Arch about to start crafting when I received a random group invite and message from a fellow Ranger/Soulbeast, "follow me to charm pets."

He had me at pets.

I jumped into his giant turtle mount thing and next thing I know we are bouncing around different zones as he shows me areas around Tyria to charm animals.

I even got to ride in his cool boat!

The GW2 community is unmatched. I only started playing a few weeks ago, and I'm hooked on the game but it's the friendliness of the community that really blows my mind. Love to see it.

I love the thief playstle of Shadow stepping in and doging, the shadow stepping out, jumping over my enemies and just basically be an evasive little shit that deals lots of damage.

Since barely any content creators do anything with thief, I have to come up with a build myself or get intos from other sources. For example Reddit

Edit: I found a build I quite enjoy. My Fantasy of the evasive little shit works really well with it. I don't quite remember the exactly trait names but the specializations I'm using are Acrobatics, Trickery and Daredevil. The engine is basically, dodging gives me lots of might paired with relic of the Daredevil and once I land with my Dodge I deal an average of 3-4k damage. Full Berserker's equipment and Daredevil staff.

It's really fun, cause I'm quite literally an evasive little shit that deals too much damage XD

Have seen some comments and observed that certain expansion zones have more players than others. For example, it's always easy to find players doing various things around SOTO, the piñata in Path of Fire, or the big meta event in HoT. But some expansions, ex EoD, are much more sparsely populated.

Would the game benefit from having expansion rush events where content from that expansion has bonus rewards for a week? That would get players back into those less populated zones periodically.

just salvaged 1200 tokens worth of rare helms from the dungeon guy that sells the armour and got no ecto just silk scrap, is this normal?

Hi everyone, I'm looking for help finding a decent build for my setup.

Forgive me Im new and this game can be kind of overwhelming with all the builds and different rotations I'm seeing.

Im looking for a decent fractal dagger/warhorn build where I can play support healer but also do decent dps while nobody is getting hurt.

As I hit tier 2 fractals Im noticing the need for damage is greater and I want to be able to do more while still using my harriers/healing runes build as It's taken me a long time to get the 4 ascended pieces.

I can’t believe I didn’t try this game sooner. I recently started playing GW2 not because of the GW3 announcement, but because I’d started dreading logging into WoW TBC to raid. It was my first real attempt at TBC content, actually raiding and doing something meaningful, and I just hit a wall with it. Someone suggested GW2 since it’s F2P, so I gave it a shot.
I’m currently level 54 and completely hooked. The exploration, the build systems, the story quests, the adventure guide, crafting I love all of it, just experiencing something new. The other night I was just out mining, still getting the hang of crafting, when a world event popped up out of nowhere. There were 50+ players all fighting through it together, then another event or boss spawned right after, and it turned into this fun, insane chaotic fight.
I haven’t been this excited about a video game in a long time.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ hopefully it stays till and through 80.

With non-WvW people basically get 2 free GoB's with the WvW rush event, it would be awesome to somehow get an equivalent gift of exploration event for non-open world players! I have too many unmade leg starter kits because I'll never be able to finish map completion again

I know the time equivalency isn't the exact same, so would this look like to you and how would you make it 'fair'?
