I’ve had GeForce NOW for quite a while, but I mostly used it on a monitor and honestly didn’t play that often.

Since getting my LG OLED B5 120 Hz TV, everything has changed. I now play Assassin’s Creed Black Flag through my ROG Ally in 4K with max settings, sitting comfortably and using a controller.

The experience feels completely different. The image quality is incredible, the game runs smoothly, and playing from the couch on an OLED makes it feel much more immersive and enjoyable.

I’m genuinely excited about gaming again. At this point, I don’t really see the need to buy an expensive gaming PC or console, because GeForce NOW offers amazing quality for such a low price.

I’m curious how other GeForce NOW users feel about this. Has cloud gaming also changed the way you play, especially after switching to a good TV or OLED? Do you still see a reason to buy a powerful PC or console, or are there still some limitations that make local hardware worth it for you?

Until about 12 hours ago, I could download and play with mods normally. However, now mods won't download no matter which game I open. Is this a GeForce NOW error?

Just goes to show asking devs/publishers does work sometimes :)

I've lost an hour trying to fix this on my own to no avail, help would be very appreciated:

Opened Warhammer II as usual through geforce now.
Game loads and boots up. Somewhat slower than usual though.
Game launcher opens after steam. Went to the mods section.
Mods start downloading then suddenly stops half a second later. Mods don't download at all.

Solutions I've tried:
Quickly close and re-open game launcher.
Changed download location on steam.
Restarted game, and restarted geforce now.

Been messing around with it. I want cinematic at 120fps so this is my scam lol. Stream is locked to 60 adaptive on cinematic. My screen is 144hz. In game set to 60fps and Vsync enabled. I enable LS plus my tweaked setting with LS and boom, steady 120fps. This really works lol. I honestly don’t feel any added latency. I toggle it off, game is back to 60fps. Toggle back on, boom…120 fake frames lol. But honestly, it makes a difference and the 120 that I’m generating works smoothly.

I can assure this worked back then but now if i launch gmod on my laptop, phone or tv it wouldnt download majority of addons, by majority i mean that some do get downloaded.

Been trying for like last hour to play DayZ on community server with mods from workshop, but when i try to download them by clicking "setup dlcs and mods and join" launcher waits for mods to download and nothing happens, same thing on steam in "manage downloads" nothing queued.

I already tried to start new session

I already tried to unsubscribe from all mods and subscribe to them again

Any idea's what's up?

Can I play AC 1 in gfn with gamepad?? I don't have mouse & keyboard. I once purchased the game on steam but the game pad didn't worked (my gamepad has xbox mode which helped in ezio trilogy) I'm a huge AC addict but never played this one . (Gamepad Ant e sports gp320)

Note: as a casual gamer who doesnt grind ranked modes but still plays pvp games.

I fiddled around with the "performance" sub for geforce now for about a few months and while it was cool for single player games, for competitive games it never felt good or looked good. But I decided to ranomly try out ultimate and oh my god it's about as close to a 1:1 you can get. I'm going to use CoD as an example since it's a twitchy, fast paced arcade shooter that requires low latency but I also tried some MMOs. (Also cod games are notorious for being like 200 gigs EACH so I think I might be a full-time GeForce user).

I have black ops 7 installed on my pc and decided to geforce now for mw3 (2023) and on balanced settings I feel no latency and the graphics are perfectly fine. There's practically no difference in feel or I'm just not genetically gifted or anywhere near skilled enough to tell the difference. I also switched off wifi and went with a high quality ethernet cable. I don't think 1gb of internet is required at all but thats what I had and location wise I live somewhat near one of the data centers. Not sure if its still worth going with "competitive" settings at this point in case anyone wants to drop their 2 cents.

I feel like the performance version kind of puts people off to the technology as a whole since really isn't the limit of what it can do. I desperately regret getting one year of performance instead of ultimate lmao Im guessing there's no way i can upgrade at this point, so I'm just using another account while taking an L on the performance tier account.

Customer support has a lot to be desired, I've been talking to numerous AI bots and they all send the same generic responses . I purchased my 12 month premium at a discount when the sale was going on. Was using the service for a few weeks without any issues and then a couple days ago I was switched to the Free membership. Nvidia claims I was issued a refund.. The billing history on my GeForce Now account doesn't state it and neither does the statement for the credit card I used to pay for it.. There wasn’t an update to the game since I last played and it went offline here BUT they did just finally add anti cheat to sand so maybe that’s what’s causing issues?

Can anyone recommend a laptop under 500 that will run GeForce good enough and last at least a year )) i mostly want to play cs so I dont want to spend too much on a laptop and i am mostly away from home so a laptop is better than a pc right now. Ty

I'm putting together my GeForce NOW Ultimate setup and wanted to check if there's anything I'm overlooking.

My setup:

250 Mbps fiber Ethernet connection

Ethernet cable directly from the router to my laptop

Laptop with HDMI 2.0 output

Samsung Tizen TV with HDMI 2.1

Laptop connected to the TV using an HDMI 2.1 cable

TV connected to a surround sound system

EvoFox One S V2 controller connected to the laptop using its 2.4 GHz USB dongle (XInput mode)

Playing Steam games through GeForce NOW Ultimate

My main concerns are:

1. Will surround sound work correctly with this setup (Laptop → HDMI → Samsung TV → Surround sound system), or is there anything I need to configure?

2. Will my EvoFox One S V2 work properly with GeForce NOW when connected to the laptop using its 2.4 GHz USB dongle in XInput mode?

3. Is there anything in this setup that could increase latency or reduce image or audio quality?

4. If you were building this setup yourself, is there anything you would change or improve?

I'm also attaching the controller's instruction manual in case it helps confirm the controller compatibility.

I've already tried both forms of authentication and even did a "restore access"

Nothing seems to be working.

EDIT: I'm locked out, just tried my other account and it went right in. I messed up putting the wrong code several times (I have a bunch on google authenticator) so hopefully its just a timeout before Ican get it again.

I got the BSP D11 but I can't figure out how to set it up for Forza 6 Horizon; the A button does nothing, the B button mutes and unmutes.

Previously I mentioned that Season 16 (Washington) and Season 18 (Chiapas) could not be accessed even though I own the DLC and have played both maps in the native system.

Now, since the last 18 hours, I've been experiencing code: OxC27A0005. I am aware that this signifies server maintenance, but I doubt server maintenance takes this long.

I've also checked the GeForce server status and the game is not mentioned there and India server is not under maintenance as well.

So I want to know how to fix this. So far I've:

- Resynced.

- Tested it through all servers.

- Tested network (all good).

- Tried running it through GeForce in browser.

- Tested if it works through Xbox in my native system *Not GeForce Now*. It works.

I have not tested the game through another GeForce now account yet.

Wanna buy a steam key for the game but I only found keys for the standard edition and GeForce now says definitive edition would it work?

Surely visitors to a community-run subreddit can understand that tools and services discussed here don't come with any sort of guarantee.

I feel that either the rule is wrong, or the subreddit description needs to be changed.

I would love to be able to have CS2 mods on persistent storage to reduce boot up times. Is that possible now, or still not ready yet? I did some searching but all threads were from before mods were supported for CS2 on GFN.
