Building A Real-Time Cricket Multiplayer Mobile Game - Looking For A 3D Modeler & Animator To Join A Small Team

Hey all! Founder & CEO of AstraForge Interactive, a new game company based in Delhi, India. 10 years in the gaming industry, spanning AAA production, mobile development and game content analytics - Ubisoft India, Zensar, Gameopedia.

We're building a real-time 5v5 cricket multiplayer mobile game - first of its kind, as far as we know. Design doc and 12-week roadmap are done, Unity dev is covered - just need a 3D modeler and animator to help build the vertical slice: low-poly pitch/outfield, player and bat models, bowling/batting animations.

Real Talk On Pay: Pre-funding, so this is deferred comp/equity through a formal contribution agreement, not a salary - same deal for me too. Totally get if that's not something you can take on right now.

Looking for solid low-poly and basic rigging/animation fundamentals - you don't need a big VFX background. Matters more that you're reliable, communicate well and care about the game turning out good. Beginners and hobbyists welcome.

~14-18 hrs/week, aiming for a playable slice in ~12 weeks. Remote, open to anyone - some IST overlap helps but isn't required.

Happy to walk through the pitch and relevant design doc sections once we start talking - full docs once you're actually on board.

Interested? Drop a comment or DM with a bit about yourself, your experience and any low-poly/character samples or portfolio you've got.

Cheers!

Game based on Bhangarh, Two indie developers, Two years of work, now looking for honest feedback

Post image
26 Upvotes

It’s been almost two years since we first started working on this project, and we’ve finally reached a point where we can let others experience it. The demo for our horror game, Bhangarh: The Untold Story, is now available on Steam.

Over the past few months, the game has also been featured by outlets like IGN, which has been a huge milestone for our small team. Now we'd love to hear what actual players think.

Steam Link

If you enjoy horror games, we’d really appreciate it if you could give the demo a try and let us know what you think.

Since this is a demo, your feedback is incredibly valuable to us. If you encounter:

  • Bugs or glitches
  • Performance issues
  • Gameplay problems
  • Anything that feels off

Please report it through the "Report Bug" section so we can fix it before the full release.

We’d also love to hear your thoughts in a bit more detail if possible:

  • Audio: We’ve put a lot of effort into building a dynamic audio system where sound changes based on the environment (reverb, echo, spatial effects, etc.). Did it feel immersive? Did it react naturally to different spaces, or did anything feel off?
  • Environment: Did the atmosphere and setting feel believable and engaging?
  • Jumpscares: Were they effective, predictable, or too frequent?
  • Mechanics: How did the gameplay feel overall? Was movement, interaction, or pacing smooth?
  • Overall experience: What stood out to you the most, and what didn’t work?

If you enjoy the demo, leaving a Steam review would also help us a lot as a small indie team.

Rigonix Third Person Controller

Stop wrestling with spaghetti code. Rigonix is a modular, scalable, and production-ready Third Person Character Controller designed for Unity developers who demand quality and flexibility. Whether you are building an Action-Adventure, an RPG, or a Survival game, Rigonix provides the rock-solid foundation you need.

Key Features

Advanced Locomotion Engine

A physics-based movement system that feels responsive and grounded.

  • Dynamic Stance System: Seamlessly transition between Standing, Crouching, and Prone. The Collider automatically resizes and repositions itself, allowing the player to physically fit under obstacles in real-time.
  • Adaptive Movement: Smooth acceleration, deceleration, and slope handling prevents the "floating" feel common in cheaper assets.
  • Comes With WalkingRunning And Sprinting Locomotion States
  • Dodge System: Integrated evasive maneuvers including RollingSliding (under obstacles).
  • All Kind Of Input System: Supports Both Legacy And New Input System. Comes with mobile controls and gamepad controls.

Hybrid Ragdoll Physics

Forget buying separate ragdoll assets. Rigonix includes a complete physics solution built-in.

  • Ragdoll Builder: A custom Editor Window that automatically generates bone colliders and joints for any Humanoid model in one click.
  • Active Fall System: Characters automatically transition to ragdoll physics when falling from dangerous heights.
  • Smart Get-Up: The system detects whether the character is facing up or down and triggers the correct recovery animation smoothly.

Immersive Footstep System

Bring your world to life with a polymorphic surface detection system.

  • Tri-Mode Detection: Detects surfaces via Terrain TexturesMesh Materials, or Object Tags.
  • Profile-Based Workflow: Create "Surface Profiles" (e.g., Grass, Wood, Concrete) and assign unique sounds and VFX particles for Walk, Run, Jump, and Land actions.
  • Performance: Uses audio pooling to ensure zero garbage collection during gameplay.

Robust Camera System

A production-ready Third Person Camera solution.

  • Smart Collision: Uses SphereCast technology to prevent the camera from clipping through walls or corners.
  • Smooth Damp: Cinematic follow logic that eliminates jitter.
  • Input Handling: Built-in support for mouse and gamepad sensitivity.

Unified Interaction System

A clean interface for interacting with the world.

  • Universal Interactable: Create doors, levers, buttons, or loot chests in seconds.
  • Auto-Navigation: The character automatically moves to the correct position and rotation before performing an interaction animation.
  • Versatile Inputs: Supports "Press", "Hold", and "Tap" interaction types.

The Rigonix Workflow

We value your time. The framework is designed for speed.

  • Character Creator Wizard: Setup a completely new character model (FBX/Prefab) with physics, camera, and inputs in under 5 seconds.
  • Rigonix Universal Editor: A beautiful, custom-coded Inspector that organizes modules into Tabs and Cards, hiding complexity until you need it.
  • Mobile Ready: Includes a complete touch-control UI (Virtual Joystick, Touchpad, Buttons) that works out of the box.

Modules Included

  • Locomotion Module: Walk, Run, Sprint, Jump. Supports both strafe and free movement type.
  • Health & Stamina: Stats manager with fall damage and regen logic.
  • Dodge Module: Roll, Slide logic.

Released my first game on Steam! Last Bullet!

Hey everyone! I am a solo developer based in Bengaluru, and today I am finally releasing my very first full game. To say I am filled with a mix of excitement and anxiety right now would be a massive understatement.

I have been working on Last Bullet for almost a year. It is a turn-based roguelike where you face down hordes of enemies by building the ultimate gun. You get to mix and match different bullets in your cylinder, discover crazy powers, and stack deep synergies to create the perfect gun combo.

If you enjoy tactical roguelikes and experimenting with builds, I would be absolutely thrilled if you checked it out!

Hi everyone, I'm posting another update of the game I'm building in my free time, please feel free to give feedbacks. This game is heavily inspired by Urban Region / Sifu / Mad max. I also added a climbing system and my current area of focus is Enemy AI and i think I'm close lol, Since i have limited time to invest do you think i should implement something like Blaze AI ? is it good ? Would love to know your opinion. Thanks.

P.s. ignore frame drop it's because of screen recording. It's consistent 60 fps easily for mid-range phones. More content is coming soon and the game is available for Pre-registration on Play store and called Machine Survivors: Roguelike

Anyone here studied at or worked with graduates from Rubika Supinfogame?

I'm researching Game Design education in India and wanted to get opinions from people already working in the industry.

Rubika Supinfogame has a strong reputation internationally, but most of its partner programs are quite expensive. Recently, I found a government university in India collaborating with Rubika Supinfogame, which made me curious about how much value the curriculum actually provides.

For developers who have worked with graduates from Rubika Supinfogame (or similar game design programs):

  • How do they compare with self-taught developers?
  • Does the curriculum genuinely help with design thinking, production pipelines, teamwork, and portfolio quality?
  • When hiring juniors, does the institution carry any weight, or is the portfolio almost everything?
  • If you had to choose today, would you recommend a structured Game Design program or learning independently while building a strong portfolio?

I’m working on a body-swapping mechanic for my game. ( Yes, you can even become a cat...)

One of the core mechanics in The Infected Soul is body swapping.

Different bodies unlock different ways to explore, solve puzzles, and survive.

Yes... you can even become a cat. 🐈

This is an early prototype, so we'd love to hear your thoughts. What kind of bodies or abilities would you like to see?

A map created with the new procedural generation system of my game, along with some new filters.

I've been working on adding procedural map generation to my game, and it's finally starting to come together.

Maps are now built from a seeded plan that stitches together different cave sections into a single expedition. Each section can have its own biome, terrain generation, materials, and overall structure, so every run feels a little different while remaining deterministic.

This video also showcases some of the new filters I've been experimenting with. There's still plenty to improve, but I'm really happy with the direction it's heading.

It's not the final game trailer, just something I made to celebrate the achievement of getting this far. Hope you like it we will keep polishing it!
