GTA V should i let my 13 year old play gta or rdr2? he has been begging me for his birthday, as all his friends have played it and they say it is "peak childhood"

his birthday is on the 24th of july, he is turning 13, he is emotionally mature, and not a soft heart, i don't know if he can handle it though, he has watched many violent movies such as Scarface, and has played other games such as Ghost of Tsushima, which he says the story is incredible

GTA VI Just like how the 3D Universe's characters crossover-ed with each other in the PS2 games and how GTA IV characters made appearances in GTA V, which GTA V or IV characters do you except to see in IV?

GTA VI every platform's actual status right now, since people keep asking

was putting this together today so figured I'd share the current state

PS5 Nov 19, 2026. confirmed
Xbox Series X|S Nov 19, 2026. confirmed
PC no date. no announcement. nothing
Switch 2 no date. no announcement. nothing

my guess is PC comes 1-2 years later like GTA 5 did.
but the switch 2 one is what I keep thinking about.
the switch 2 is cute and all but can it actually run this game??
feels like we'd need a switch 3 for that honestly

what do you guys think, PC in 2027 or 2028? and is a switch version even realistic

Note that my placement of GTA Online is based on its current state and not what it once used to be.

GTA IV I just played GTA 4 for the first time after beating GTA 5 and RDR2. Here are my thoughts:

The positives:

• I love the characters and main story in GTA 4. Niko isn't a protagonist I'd usually like, but I empathized with his feelings and struggles as an immigrant, and it isn't a perspective that's seen often in video games. Some of the side characters were hilarious. I laughed my ass off when Brucie banged his head into a wall.

•The graphics obviously are dated, but for the "gritty" story and setting it's in, the dark and smudgy graphics mostly work alright. I played this game on Xbox Series X, though I can't imagine playing this game on a original PS3 and an old TV.

Neutral:

•The gunplay is ALRIGHT for a 2008 game. I didn't love it or hate it. But I liked the ragdoll physics where characters would stumble when they got shot.

The Bad:

The driving. I know some people like it because they think it's more realistic, but I can't remember driving a car in real life that handles like cars in GTA 4. MAYBE a car manufactured before 1980 would handle that way.

Thankfully it's super easy to lose the cops in this game, otherwise I probably couldn't stand it. It's also a plus that there a lot of cabs. I mostly fast travel with cabs because of the "boat" driving physics, and the fact that I just don't think it's fun.

RATINGS:

Story and Characters: 10/10

Gameplay: 5-6/10

Overall rating:
7.5 out of 10. Pretty good game

GTA IV People be complaining about gta prices when you clearly know that nba, fifa, COD games drop every year and shamelessly priced above 80$ and almost 170$ for the best editions.

Also recently Ive been interested in playing wwe and looked at the prices the monday night edition was 200$

So i think it is fair for gta to price it accordingly and even cheaper than the USD in some regions, the ultimate edition seems fair locking stuff behind the paywall, because why can’t rockstar do it if other studios do the same thing.

Another unpopular opinion though is that who tf even buys discs anymore- i mean even if you buy discs you have to download the updates and other necessary content before you can even play the game. Only one thing is fair that there is the ownership issue that i am very against- a purchase should consider as ownership not rental and if this keeps going on i am not scared to turn into MONKEY D.LUFFY

GTA: Vice City Grand Theft Auto set in 1970s Vice City

I’d set my own Grand Theft Auto game in 1977 Vice City and my protagonist’s name would be Tim Walker.

GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition The Definitive Trilogy

Is it worth buying on PS5 now? It's down to £18 in the summer sale.

I remember seeing they launched in an absolute state but I also saw they were fixed - have they been fixed enough or no?

GTA III Idk why I am pushing myself to beat GTA III Definitive Edition, any advices?

So I've been a returning fan of the GTA franchise (despite the love-and-hate relationship with GTA games) and I have one major obstacle that's been bothering me: GTA III. I wanted to understand the lore of the franchise, and while every GTA game has its own lore and story, I thought I could return as a fan by attempting to beat GTA III Definitive Edition. At first, it wasn't bad: It was fun, the early missions are fun to do, the progression isn't that bad. But when I got the mid-game content things got even worse: The missions are exhausting to beat, the gangs are always shooting me from a mile away, the traffic are so annoying that I get anxiety trying to get through the traffic, the cops are so ridiculous, and most of the weapons won't even allow you to move while aiming which leaves me with no other option but to use the Uzi the whole freaking time as my main weapon! And it makes the other weapons for defensive gunplay rather than offensive which is what most missions are for. I know this GTA game is experimental, and it definitely raised the 3D era of GTA, but it feels so exhausting and it ruins my mood, especially right now in July where it's so hot and I don't have enough patience to get on the edge by a widely hated GTA like GTA III. And I don't think I am ready to beat Vice City if it's similar to GTA III.
