Using fusion as a rendering platform for my project
I made this project in onshape but used fusion 360 for rendering.

Getting fed up with the updates that mess everything that I have already done up. The most recent update 2704.1.36 has taken everything that I entered years ago and taken away the description and part # in the edit part properties. I entered them several times to find out that they didn't take. I have had several issues with the last few updates. So I am now looking for a new program to use at work. Any suggestions are appreciated! Thx

Hello! I am trying to create a Gerber file for a conductive ink 3d printer. My plan is to take my design in fusion, export as a gerber file, then upload it to KiCAD to make the Gerber PCB file.
The main problem I am running into is that I can not figure out how to download the design (pictured) as a "colored in" or filled DXF, as opposed to just an outline. Does anyone have any advice here?

I'm creating an object that will contain fully enclosed pockets for magnets. I'm going to 3D print it and pause midway through the print in order to insert glue and a magnet in each pocket.
So on one face I created a sketch and then did a cut extrusion with offset. You can see it on the left of the image.
I then used a circular pattern to replicate the cut extrusion feature 4 times (original + 3) around an vertical axis. But as you can see from the image, the replications ended up as bodies within the body. And in fact, you can see Body18, Body19, and Body20 in the Bodies hierarchy, which are the 3 replications.
What have I done wrong?

Im building this model of a shed, I started my assembly by just pulling components in one by one, I never built sub assembly's until I did the framed wall. Is there a was I can squeeze all these components into sub assembly's now that they are part of this model? I'm looking to make the 2x6 floor framing its own, then the legs there own and the sheeting its own. Just not sure how to go about that. Thanks for any help

how would you do this gradual depth change along the surface of a mask?

I have the overall contour of the mask already done and I am wondering if 3D sketching and then using this as a loft guide rail would be doable. Please share your techniques or guides for this kind of mesh modeling. I have watched learn everything about design in youtube however i got stuck in this part.

Hey guys! I'm a mechanical design engineer at a research center in France, and I've been doing CAD for quite a long time now — I just love designing all kinds of parts.
This year I decided to start sharing some of the knowledge I've picked up over the years with fellow CAD lovers. Here's my first tutorial: modeling a custom keycap in Fusion 360, If you're a beginner or intermediate user, give it a try!
I'd love to hear your feedback once you've gone through it 🤙

I am trying to model a small speaker box, and play around with tuned ports. The length of the port is very specific. For example current calculation requires a box volume of 9.5L and a round port of 47mm X 573mm. The first two parts are easy enough for me to draw. But when it comes to marking 573mm along a path I have to manually work out which segment falls within my target, then create a line of 73mm and cut off the tail. OR I can sweep a know length. Work out my target expressed as a % and sweep that length. both ways are annoying. Is there a better method?
NOTE: picture below is for reference, I know the total length is not 573mm.

Adding alignment nubs for this handle to a bowl
I'm printing the handle separately so I don't need to worry about the over hangs, I'll print them on their side
I'm struggling to do the alignment nubs for when I super glue the handles back on because its a curved surface

I don't care about these projects anymore I want them gone. It's annoying me. Its taking up half of my editable documents. Please help.

I am new to Fusion and am making a high quality model of scorponok from the 2007 transformers movie. I found a low poly model online to use as a base but I don't know what tools to use or what to search for online to find the info I need. What would be the best way to tackle this curved "kneepad" part?

I have been having some problems with Fusion recently. It all started when I had to install a new SSD since my computer was getting slow.
After the SSD update, I donwloaded Fusion and logged in. I opened a couple files I had been working on, until I got one that wouldnt open. I got an error saying it couldnt be downloaded. So I closed Fusion, opened it again, and that file worked just fine.
A couple days later I got the same error on another file, one that I really needed. So after closing and opening Fusion several times to no avail, I decided to remove the program and install again. I had some problems installing it, until I was finally able to do it. And this time the file opened fine, but the program was really slow, it was consuming my entire memory. So I exported as stp the parts I needed, and finished the drawings.
But while doing so, I noticed something weird. When I make a sketch on a surface, it wont recognize the features that are already on the surface. So I can not make concentric circle on one that was previously done. Or offset the perimeter. Basically its a new sketch even though it was done on a surface.
What could it be?

I tried to ask this in google and AI and I just couldn't get the wording right to find the answer(s) I am looking for. Just getting into 3d printing and looking into diving into fusion360 over using blender but I have a question. I have some very basic blender experience and I have used it for the last couple weeks to modify free stl files I have found online. Curious if Fusion360 has a simple way to do what I am looking at here. I am getting comfy with what I know to think I could really start working on designing things that would be used in my life. My only gripe with blender is, measuring and setting up connections between objects. From my experience in blender. Yes when you first create a cylinder, or a bevel, or loop cut. Whatever. You can adjust the sizing of everything involved right then and there. But if I want to go back and adjust the sizing of a hole between 2 objects that will be used for nuts/bolts to connect pieces. Going back and adjusting them all seems to be very tedious. Does Fusion360 have a easier/quicker/more intuitive way at creating/applying what would be those holes/recesses for screws/bolts/nuts would be. And if after I have gone through and made the entire thing and want to adjust every single screw hole that was supposed to fit this specific 3mx4 bolt to another size or type, how difficult could that be? Would I have to go and change every thing individually? Thank you.
