Fix My Print First time printing petg

I’m printing on an Ender 3 Pro with quite a few mods. In the photo, PETG is on the left and PLA is on the right. I opened the PETG today and started printing with it immediately, but it has some strange surface artifacts, as shown in the picture. I’ve never had any issues printing PLA, only PETG so far. I’m guessing I probably just need to get a filament dryer lol.

Fix My Print Underextruding and consistently printing in the wrong place

Post image

Using the longer lk5 printer. The bottom will print fine and then the circle in the middle will mess up, the infill will fail 100% of the time, and every layer is a little bit off making the whole print a spaghetti mess. Feel like we’ve tried everything. Tried cooling or heating hot end, printing at 25mm/s, tried different slicer settings. Often underextruding by a lot, not sure how to fix it. I am a beginner, please be nice

The latest print failed w 215 c hot end, 60 c bed

May i know why the filament is going where the green arrow is pointed? This happened with other prints as well of similar patterns. I can't get rid of them.

Using creality cr 10 se. Settings in the pics.

Filament is PLA matte light blue elegoo.

Please let me know if you need more details to help.

Fix My Print What’s the possible cause for this?

Printed a very thin funnel (only one wall), the result you can see on the picture. Also the seams aren’t good as well, on some layers there are tiny gaps.

My setup:

CoLiDo M2020 printer
Cura slicer
Sunlu PLA Matte Black
Bed temperature - 75 (first layers), then 65
Nozzle temperature- 220 (first layers), then 205

Troubleshooting Ender 3 v2 neo software issue

I’ve tried several different firmware versions to attempt to fix it but every time I try to print or level it doesn’t know where it’s at and it grinds the motors. The motherboard is GD and version 4.2.2. Also I double checked that the wires are plugged in to their respective axis. All of the systems/filament/speed/other settings used is stock.

Fix My Print PCTG-H2C top surface hell

Post image

Fiberlogy PCTG, dried

H2C

Bambu studio

Flow calibrated

K calibrated

There are known bugs with the H2 series printers and pressure advance/some other unidentified issue and I may just have to accept good isn't possible, but maybe you guys can help :)

The paths are hyper extending over the wall. Slicer preview is fine.

I THINK - having ruled out practically everything else - that the physical tilt to sit on the wall also causes a visual dark border around the top surface. You will probably jump to flow/k but it isn't, pretty sure. In an attempt to eliminate both the extended lines and border I have tried:

Infil wall overlap

Monotonic line plus zero line extend

Different solid infil patterns

0,1,2, and 10- layer thick single wall.

Normal (3) walls

Different temperatures

Different fans

Different accelerations and speeds

Different top surface flow ratios

Different object flow ratios

About to try infil first but even if that works presumably I'll get a wonky wall sitting on top.

Losing it :(

Corners look overextruded to me but surfaces underextruded. Suspect its pressure advance but prusa slicer doesn’t really allow to easily modify PA. Guess ill take this as the sign to switch to orca unless its something else?

Have had this issue the last couple things I’ve printed. Bambulabs P1S, Bambu PLA. Seems to be random as I printed 2 at the same time and the zits are different on both models. Z seam is set to aligned.

Fix My Print Anycubic Kobra 3 Max - Random Layer Warping & Shift on PLA High Speed - HELP!

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

Printer: Anycubic Kobra 3 Max

Filament: Anycubic PLA High Speed 1.75mm (stored in AMS with temperature control)

Settings (consistent across all prints):

Nozzle Temp: 205°C

Bed Temp: 65°C

Speed: Standard (100%)

I'm experiencing random warping and waviness on the sides of my prints combined with layer shift.

The issue is inconsistent - it happens sporadically, not on every print, which makes it really difficult to diagnose. I can see horizontal waves along the print walls and diagonal shift lines visible inside the prints. It appears to happen randomly during the printing process.

What I've already tried: Bed leveling before every single print, belt maintenance and tension checks on both X/Y belts, nozzle cleaning and nozzle changing, and my filament is stored in the AMS with temperature control so that shouldn't be an issue.

At this point I'm not sure what else could be causing this. Has anyone else experienced similar issues on a Kobra 3 Max? Any suggestions on what to check next would be really appreciated

Troubleshooting I have no words

Hi thanks for reading. I've had an issue with my printing and I've no idea what has gone wrong. Had the printer 4 weeks and it's been working great up until now.

I had a problem immediately before this with what I thought was some under extrusion or bed adhesion, but I calibrated the flow rate, unloaded and reloaded the PLA, changed the plate and it seemed fine.

I set the job to run overnight, but I did check it about 30 mins in and it was happily printing the first tree support layers. 7 h later I have come down to this: The initial supports it laid down have gone, massive clump on the nozzle, and it looks like it's been trying to clean the tool head repeatedly and chucking off lots of bits into my basket.

I have no idea what has caused this. I ran the printer yesterday with 0.4mm nozzle and got a great print. The problem seems to have started when I swapped nozzle and PLA but I switch between these all the time and it's never been a problem. Any ideas on a fix?

I auto bed levelled, auto calibrated flow dynamics. 0.2mm nozzle. 0.2 initial layer height with 0.06mm layers on textured PEI plate. Although first mishap was on a cool plate.

Printer: Bambulab A1 Mini

Material: Creality Hyper PLA

Temp: 190-220

Speed: Slow

Slicer: BambuStudio

Update: It does indeed appear to be a bed adhesion issue primarily. Used glue and rafts and it appears to be printing properly now.

Troubleshooting Anycubic mega X extrusion troubles

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I'm at my wits end here, honestly. Got myself a second hand anycubic mega x and it's been such a drag. I've checked that the bowden tube is flush with the heatbreak, everything is screwed together tight, filament is dry. After changing out the extruder I swapped the stepper motor contacts to reverse it (The issue was present in the stock configuration also) and flashed the knutwurst. And yet it still skips steps, grinds the filament, whatever.

Fix My Print Day 2, What can I do to fix my print.

Thumbnail

Recently purchased an Ender 3 v2 and calibrated the z axis after I did that my first ever print came out weird looking (see my older post) my second print came out like this. Any thoughts on what I should do next?

Filament used is PLA
Printed this at 205 Celsius for the nozzle and 65 for the bed. Z tilt is -2.95
Sprite extruder kit

I have also levelled my bed by watching a tutorial and everything is now decent.

How do I now fix the weird web looking stuff and get some of the grain out?
