$600 worth of falconry books right here. A lot of them were expensive ($30-60 apiece) so I refuse to mark them up with how I want to take notes on them. Plus some are full color with glossy pages, so I couldn't even if I wanted to.

And before anyone says anything, I did check to see if these were available anywhere else. Falconry is a niche topic and a lot of these wouldn't be available elsewhere, even through libraries. Plus I had very specific topics I wanted covered (imprinting and its behavioral issues, species-specific rearing/training/behavior, etc), so trying to find the more in-depth information I would want online was just no go.
