Patched a big section by the bend near Grenac, 10 feet away there is still a giant divot. The patches are also far from level or even, might as well have left it alone

We’re planning on moving back to Fairbanks once my husband is done with the army and are looking at some home options. One of the ones I’m curious about is the Modulars but i don’t wanna give my info out to a bunch of companies just yet. So, I’m curious if anyone here has any first hand experience with the process and if it is worth it. For reference we are wanting to buy land and put a double on it using the Va loan. I want to purchase a reindeer skin with the goal of being able to sleep on the snow without waking up wondering if my toes are going to fall off. I have a r8 sleeping pad that's overhyped and not really trust worthy for winter adventures. I've slept in true -15 degree weather on a giant foam pad but am looking for something I can sleep at above 0 temps without second guessing weather ill have all my limbs in the morning. My goal is to be able to put my sleeping bag on the snow whenever wherever and go to sleep.
