Panigale 899 low rpm issue

Post image

Hi guys, just bought a 2014 Panigale 899.

Alls good with the bike except for an issue with the throttle at 3-4k rpm where it feels like its very jerky and the power feels like its cut or itll suddenly give me too much.

Anyone had any similar issue to it and what would be a remedy?

Picture attached if anyones curious

Problem with Ducati 848

Between 5/6K the bike starts stuttering like it is running on 1 cylinder or misfiring. Things that I have checked or replaced since I have the problem
TPS sensor
Reservoir breathing tubes
Sparks brand new
Coils 1 of them is brand new
Desmo is checked and the belt and pulleys are replaced
Brand new chain and teeth
The exhaust valve motor is removed and replaced with healtech eliminator
And a brand new voltage regulator
Per the guy that I am working on it with the only logical thing left to check is the ECU if by any chance it is damaged. Please advise if you had experience with that issue.
The engine is only on 14000km / 8699 miles

Question about Clutch

Hello people, newer rider here.

I bought a used Monster 696 about 1 1/2 months ago with 34000km on it and been riding with it now around 1500km so far.

Love the bike and have a lot of fun.

Only one thing concerns me a little bit. The clutch felt harder to shift at the beginning. I could not even get it into neutral if I didnt roll it a bit.

But now it feels somehow smoother and easier to shift and I can also shift into neutral rather easy (not as easy as a Kawa for Sure) while standing still.

Now I am starting to be a little concerned if I fucked the clutch somehow and maybe at some point it could give out?

Something I could check if the clutch is alright? Maybe do an oil change or something to make sure?

I just really dont want to destroy that bike because of carelessness.

I’m looking for some help on this one, anyone experience this code before, how did you resolve the issue? Anything to try before replace a specific part? I have reset the code several times and it keeps popping back up

TIA

2025 Panigale V4 power issues, brand new

2025 Panigale V4 owner here β€” bike has felt down on power since I got it, and I'm trying to figure out if this is normal or an actual issue.

Symptoms:

- Feels flat/weak from idle up through roughly 9k RPM

- Comes alive and feels strong from ~9k RPM up to redline

- Torque % readout on the dash ramps up gradually rather than snapping to 100%, even with everything set to Full power and DTC/DWC/EBC off

- Very hard to wheelie even in Full power mode with electronics off β€” takes a lot of effort compared to what I see online

- I run a BT Moto tune, confirmed flashed, and the behavior is identical to stock

- A friend with the same bike, completely stock, no tune, no service done yet, has the exact same symptoms

- I did my own first service (no dealer visit, no ECU reflash from a dealer)

- Haven't cleared the first service light yet, it's still on

- No warning lights on the dash otherwise

I know the Desmosedici Stradale is a peaky engine that makes its numbers up top, but this feels like more than just engine character β€” it feels like something is capping low-to-mid RPM power specifically.

Has anyone else run into this? Specifically:

- Is this just how these bikes feel stock/low-RPM, and I'm comparing wrong (I also have a 2026 RSV4 which pulls way harder down low)?

- Does the torque % ramp mean something's actively limiting power, or is that normal ride-by-wire smoothing?

- Does the uncleared service light do anything at all, or is that a red herring?

- Could this be a fault code that isn't triggering a dash warning (pending code, not stored)?

- Anyone had luck finding an actual cause via dyno or diagnostic scan?

Planning to get it on a diagnostic tool and dyno to get real numbers instead of just going by feel β€” but wanted to see if this is a known thing before I do.

I have never seen the v2 out in the wild. I haven't seen any videos that weren't press bike reviews. Has anyone bought one? Did they even sell one?

Streetfighter V4 maintenance

So I have a 2023 SFSP2 with about 5k miles. Dry clutch starts slipping. Since i am due for my annual service, i take it to my dealer.

He calls me to say the maintenance is complete but oh by the clutch is slipping. You need a clutch plate kit, clutch springs and bolts, new pressure plate and new basket. Approx $2500.

I don’t think its an overly difficult DIY but i wanted to know if i really need Clutch Holding Tool or not. Trying to source everything at once.

Thanks also if there are any gotchas please share. πŸ™ thx

Turn signal replacement troubleshooting.

Hello, I am swapping out my incandescent turn signals for LEDs. As a test, I hooked the rear right LED signal without a resistors and it seemed to work fine (although a little fast). I disconnected and then hooked up the left signal to the same wire to test that one but it didn't work. I switched back to the first LED and that no longer works. I switched back to the original incandescent and that doesn't work. The fuses look okay and the license plate light works. Any help would be appreciated.

Can somebody talk me out of the Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono Nera

Tbh I don't even know why I want this bike.

I have an A2 license for the next 10 months after that I'm gonna get the A licence and then I could unlock the machine.

Ducati is running some deals here. 1500€ off or for accessories etc etc etc, 2,99 finance rate.

I have a honda cb500 pc32 that makes 58 hp (legally 33) as my daily. And I bought a Suzuki GSXR-750 K2 for 3100€ and the dealer is giving me 3300€ for that (for a trade-in).

It seems to be a Hella fun bike and I'm definitely gonna test ride it (and the Stark Varg SM)

2015 Streetfighter 848 with 3500 miles. Will be sending it out for timing belt change. When i rode it around the block few times the engine heat went pretty high. Almost to the top. Does these usually run hot? Im thinking maybe a coolant flush might help since coolant is 10 years old.

Have a low mileage 996bi that im looking to freshen up a bit before I try and put on the market. Needs timing belts and apparently the clutch slave is leaking because the reservoir is empty. Plan on doing oil change and fuel filter and figure throw a set of plugs in it while I'm in there. Been looking around trying to decide what parts I should get. Is ducati oem or exact fit belts still the goto and how do yall feel about the oberon slave or a better alternative for the same or less money? Seen people mention GothamCycles any good or alternative source?
