I used images of the helmet when making it so i could have a good grasp on it

I see some mods restore it possibly, but they come with too much other alterations. I just want red med kits and my game buggy the way it’s supposed to be with unobtainables.

These guys just chickening out with their sick looking armour. It would be awesome if they threw some of these guys into the fight and we battle alongside them. and if they die at least they die with honour lol.

Kinda desperate about my issues in Doom TDA:

GPU : Gefore 5070Ti

I get ~60fps on average down to 40-50 in heavy fights. There is no hard cap of course, it is able to go up to 70 in small spaces.

My GPU is being very lazy in DOOM TDA where it somehow works at 100% load, but doesn't even heat (stays at 40°C) and uses low amounts of power.

There is no performance difference between High or Low preset. I also tested pretty much every setting and nothing changes.

I have tried many things, among them are :

• Rolled back drivers since a recent update seemed to kill performance - nothing

• Used DLSS Swapper / profile inspector to tweak stuff Rebar & change DLSS versions.

• Ran GPU stress tests to check if my GPU was the culprit, it is able to use all of its power. Also other games don't have this performance issue.

• Power Management Mode in NVCP set to "Prefer Maximum Performance"

• Ruled out PSU issues — clocks and voltage stay stable under load, no throttling signature

I last played the game last year when it was on Game Pass on my Gefore 3070 and had better performance than that.

Anyone else with these issues?

i was stuck on 2 other encounters in the dlc aswell, but managed to bite through in under 30 minutes each... but THIS one? where this summoning dude gets introduced ? over 30 attempts and barely reaching the third wave, where a second one of them spawns.. jesus christ.

That caco demon spamming suspiciously many purple shields and the turbo aggro lizard with a revenant tailing him were the bane of my existence...

Proving Grounds, despite in theme resembling the Hell levels of the base campaign, felt so different.

The cutscene of the Slayer clutching his wound that Ahzrak left proving that he’s still vulnerable, the music sounding way more somber rather than jumping straight to heavy metal attacking, and the dread of knowing that the Slayer is going to get his ass kicked really made me feel a way I’ve never really felt in a Modern Doom Game.

The Hell Priest/Belias/Henchman really added to it once we actually got inside the Council’s grounds. The way he seemed to not be wary of the Slayer at all while were used to every villain pissing their pants at the sight of him. His eerie laughing and not taking the Slayer’s plans of killing the High Council seriously really set him up as an intimidating antagonist.

This is only added when the High Council start triggering the Slayer’s memories and they start going on about how he wasted his life and how the Henchman just tries to guide him like he isn’t a threat was insane to see. And then the proceeding battle where we get whooped with no hope to win was also insane.

I just think this level is pretty underrated.

Im currently on my PS5 collectors version disc of the dark ages, the game is fully up to date but going to the revelations option in the menu just displays an advertisement for it with no option to play or download. The dlc is available for me to purchase full price under the games add ons on playstation, how do i redeem it free of cost like it should be with the collectors edition?

Hi, I just completed the main path, killed Marok, killed the Henchman, transported back to purgatory, got the Master Key. I can’t seem to transport back to the other areas. I haven’t heard of anyone else having this issue. I feel like I’m overlooking a key step. When I go o the Hollow Shrines I can fast travel to the other ones in Purgatory, but that’s it. I really want to play the end game content! Can anyone help me? Thanks!

Are there any mods for Doom 2016 PC that allow me to play MP with bots locally instead of having the bots' AI be remotely processed on Id Software's cloud infrastructure?

I've recently played "The Ultimate Doom 2", which is a wad that remakes all of the levels from Doom 2's campaign

And since then I've wanted to try that but with Doom 1, any recommendations?

So, in the first mission, Novak is talking about how they will send the Slayer to help humanity, at least I'm 90% certain thats supposed to be King Novak speaking. But then, a few missions later, King Novak's ghost is basically telling the Slayer to stop and that he has to let the Mayker do her thing because of their laws. So, my question is, whos side is Novak on? At first he claims to want to help humanity by sending the Slayer, but then later is discouraging him from completing his task. I havent been able to play the dlc for Dark Ages yet, plan to get it next week after getting paid and playing them all in chronological order, starting with 1, so please no spoilers, if the answer is in the dlc just say its in it and I'll enjoy finding out when I play it. Im gonna give the dark ages another chance since the last time I played it the giant opened maps really put me off because in a doom game I only want to kill, I really hated the exploring part

Question for the gamers and DOOM fans here.
If you had the chance to train under the Doom Slayer himself for 3 to 5 months, would you do it?

The training would be brutal. Strict rules, harsh conditions, constant injuries, and fighting your way through his battle arenas with the help of VEGA giving you small instructions against the demons of Hell to push yourself beyond your limits.

By the end, you'd be far stronger than when you started and would have grown tremendously both physically and mentally.

Would you take that opportunity, or would you pass?

Just so darned used to the shield controls. I keep reverting back to them despite constantly reminding myself that the spear has its own controls. The shield's mechanics are just so ingrained at this point. The spear is honestly really cool and I love what it adds and how it reworks parrying. But after playing for several hours, I'm still constantly using it incorrectly, as I'm really struggling to reprogram my brain to incorporate the spear's moveset.

I just find it strange that, despite being put next to the combat shotgun in the weapon wheel, scrolling or using number keys puts the Super Shotgun on the 6th slot. Is there a way to change the position of weapons on the scroll wheel, because i just find this super annoying, I move between weapons with the scroll wheel and always get mixed up on where i am because of the super shotgun

I just got off work and all I wanted to do was fire up Ripatorium 3.0 for some quick, mindless fun. No story, no DLC, just jump in and start ripping. But damn, it's a pain.

I went through the big megathread and every other search on here and I can't find any codes that actually work after the 3.0 update.

It's ridiculous that you have to tab out and scroll on your phone just to play a damn arcade mode. ID Software really dropped the ball on this one. This mode has so much potential, imagine if they just added an in-game browser where we could scroll through and download player-made maps/codes directly. It would be perfect.

Anyone got fresh Ripatorium 3.0 codes they're willing to share? Drop them below if you have any that are still working. Would be much appreciated.

Is it any wonder that he is who he is?

I was just browsing through the mods on the Doom I + II library and came across some kind of interesting ones, like parallel Doomensions, Vanilla Doom 4 so I was wondering if someone else plays with mods on the base game or which other ones would you recommend?

I’ve been an impaler user since the game launched and it’s really helped me in my UN runs. With the DLC, I feel it’s still strong but it’s harder to proc the empowered shot with the spear rather than the shield.

Anyone got any tips on using this better with the spear to keep activating the empowered shot?

Right now I feel it falls slightly behind some other stuff.

I plan to make a feedback submission to Bethesda about this. My suggestion is to have Tormentor either give you empowerment charges throughout, or increase the rate of fire (or both)
