I have this rash for the past few days. At first, it was light and faint (see first pic) and disappeared under the glass.

It has developed into what looks like a bruise and now doesn’t disappear under the glass (see second and third picture). I have been experiencing bouts of dizziness and nauseousness as well (not actually been sick).

My temp seems fine.

Almost 10 years ago, I got a mole removed from my scalp. It was painful, they scraped it off and felt like they were at it for 5 minutes.

Ever since then, I have gotten sharp dull pain that lasts 5 seconds in that area then the pain goes away. I have brought this up to probably 10 different doctors and dermatologists and they have no answers.

The pain lasts five seconds then goes away. How concerned should I be that it is something serious like a brain aneurysm?

28 year old male, 6 foot, 165 pounds. drink few nights a week and don’t smoke. very active, workout everyday.

I have had 2 repeadily reactive 4th gen test from the same doctor office, they were taken 3 months apart. I had another 4th gen test inbetween these two a month after the first one taken from a different office that came back negative but all labs came from quest. Confirmation tests were negative as well as pcr rna and hiv 1 dna qualitative negative. I know its rare extremely rare but I believe I contracted this 10 years ago from someone who I found out is confirmed Hiv positive. Whom I was with for over 2 years. I believe I am an elite controller and since I waited so long to test my antibody response has been unable to be detected. My question is if I am in this situation what options do i have to get a proper diagnosis? My symptoms are i have lost over 40 pounds, swollen lymph nodes, reoccurring infections; extreme joint pain in legs that never gets better.

36m heavy drinker, 15-30 drinks a week last 7 months almost every day drinking. I have upper right quadrant abdominal pain the last few days and worried im developing jaundice. Blood work last week showed normal liver enzymes and bilirubin but I drank 3 days in a row after and have been feeling the abdominal pain along with mild nausea and lack of appetite for 3 daya

I’ve been having this rash the keeps appearing on different parts of my body with no obvious cause/ explanation and I’m seriously at a loss right now. For the past year, every so often I’ll develop a patch of bumpy itchy skin that’ll itch intensely for a couple days to a couple weeks before dissipating. They don’t normally spread but sometimes they do. I’ve had times where every patch clears up and I’m free for a few weeks, but right now I have these patches on the most places at once. First photo is my upper thigh, second is my other side hip, third is my shin right below the knee. I also have a patch on my back and another on the other leg. I don’t believe they’re pus filled. I’ve been using butavate cream and it works slightly but doesn’t clear up the rash, only temporarily (and VERY temporarily) relieves the itching. I’m going to try an antibacterial body wash next and look into getting a full panel allergy test and seeing an allergist if it’s anything related to that. Please any leads or suggestions I would really really appreciate I’m so tired of living like this 😭😭😭

Hi, I have a hard white lump in my Ear Canal which recently appeared. I noticed I had lower hearing in the ear and it feels full.

I have a long history of ear issues (life long) due to Eustachian Tube Dysfunction. Last August 2025 I had a myringoplasty using a synthetic graft (not skin) to repair an eardrum perforation. The surgery appeared to be a success and then in October 2025 the eardrum re-perforated. For the past while I had noticed my hearing seems to have gotten worse in the ear and the ear feels like it is full. When I had a look using my ear camera I could see a white lump which has never been there before, and when checking back on old images it wasn’t there, it seems to have started growing since February/March time this year. I am currently waiting for the repeat surgery for the myringoplasty but I am wondering if the white lump is a concern I need to raise.

I have a few self inflicted burns. First relapse after two years. I already reached out for help with my mental health. I never had an infected burn. I've been keeping a bandaid on for the first few days, the bandaid turned yellowish brown and started to smell bad. Cleaned the wound but the smell remains. Should I be concerned?

I'm a teenager and 3 years ago I got punched in the jaw. It was on the left side of my jaw and the punch landed a bit on my lips and chin. My teeth went through a bit of my bottom lip but not fully, and they did hurt a lot after being punched.

The days following, my jaw starting hurting like absolute hell. I could barely open it without there being an incredibly tense pain in my jaw. After maybe one or two months the pain simmered.I still had very limited movement in my jaw though, it felt locked. When I tried to open my jaw it would always drift a bit to the left aswell. This lasted not too long, maybe 2 months.

Eventually that sort of went away but nearly eachtime I would open my jaw it would lock a bit and make a pop sound and then I could move it fully. Sometimes it wouldn't immediately pop though and I would have to sort of crack my jaw to the right to make it pop and be able to move my jaw fully. When trying to pop my jaw, sometimes there would be a very intense burning pain too.

Life sort of went on and for periods my jaw would be pretty fine and then there would be periods where my jaw would be in intense pain and I can barely open my mouth.

Now today, my jaw has been bothering me a bit. I was trying to eat and I opened my jaw but I did it with too much force and it did pop but when it popped it hurt like absolute hell. My jaw felt like it was on fire and it just hurt a shit ton. I've accidentally done this before but it has never hurt this badly. My range of motion seems to be a lot better now though, I can open my jaw up much more than I could before popping it. I can't pop it anymore with my hand, which I usually can. It feels like the tension that I always usaully there is not gone.

I'm worried I pulled something that shouldn't be pulled or actually messed up my jaw a lot. What does this sound like? Does this sound like something that will go away on it's own or should I get medical help for this?

Unfortunately, I have been dealing with a painful throat and now my ear on the left side. Seems to have been getting worse over the last week or so. Took a photo and it visibly looks very similar to what I experienced around this time last year which lasted a few weeks before the pain subsiding. Haven't found much online that matches photos of what I'm seeing in my own mouth.

The pain isn't constant, can hurt a bit when I swallow. But somewhat frequently I experience a sharp pain in both the back left of my throat and my left ear. Weird!

Any ideas to what this could be would be great

18F Ive been struggling with talking ever since I turned 12.

Its hard for me to remember words when talking with someone, everything is easier while texting.
Its very frustrating not being able to explain yourself to others, I wish there was a way of communicating that didnt need words.

I notice that I am slow with responses, I always think about the whole phrase before saying it, and also takes me some time to process what the other person is saying.

This has created a lot of problems with my social life through my whole life, I struggle making friends irl, I always rely on online spaces, I avoid situations where i have to speak and I think this has caused me being mentally unwell, I dont know what specifically, I have never been to a psychologist and would never want to if it meant I have to speak.
I spend a lot of time alone not talking to anyone because of how frustrating communication is for me.

What is wrong with me? What should I do about this

I’ve been getting these red spot just above my collarbone. It comes and goes, it aches and it is itchy. I’m assuming maybe it’s skin irritation? I’ve never experienced this before. I don’t have skin allergies either.

i’m officially stage, I’ve spent the last few weeks having some off and on constipation and diarrhea, but mostly diarrhea that burns, and is brown for the most part with yellow mucus, I’ve had acid reflux real bad to the point to where our regurgitate food, even minutes after eating, and my throat is a little hoarse at times. And I have this burning sensation in my stomach, and feel like something is in the back of my throat like mucus, I’ve tried to stay calm. I have an endoscopy and a colonoscopy next Monday and as each day passes, I’m terrified that the results are gonna mean something really bad!!!

I got so bad to the point where the other day I went to the ER because of my stomach pain and they did a CT scan of my abdomen and didn’t find no abnormalities, suspicious masses, or anything explaining my stomach stuff, I was really hoping I would figure out something there, I’m just really freaking out at this moment in time

I am a white female 25 living in United States I’m 5’4 110 pounds. Does this look like basal cell carcinoma? It’s a little red spot on my hairline on the left hand side of my face right on my temple.

My partner (27M) has been dealing with these rashes all over his body. They pop up sporadically, and don’t seem to follow a “pattern” of where or when they are going to appear.
We have tried process of elimination with foods and other possible allergy inducing factors.
These rashes are hot, red and itchy.
9 times out of 10, intense swelling of the area(s) accompanies the rash.
The swelling can get so bad sometimes - (his feet for example) that he can hardly walk.
He feels generally unwell within himself.
Slight temp (37.5°)
Had bloods done by the drs and everything came back perfect.
Almost EVERY part of his body has been affected at some point from his throat to his genitals.
The rash and swelling lasts around 24 - 48 hours.
Unsure where to turn next, thanks in advance.

Been having these weird symptoms for nearly a week. I’ve always had a good appetite since being on antipsychotics. However these are my current symptoms:
- bloating up to the ribs I look pregnant
- hard to walk due to bloating
- pain after eating
- full even though I’ve had 500 calories today

I’m not even eating gas causing or greasy food. Today I’ve had 2 marshmallow bars and reduced fat cheese pasta with veg

I have a firm midline that cones slightly as I suck my stomach in. Not massively painful(if at all) but slightly uncomfortable when pressed. Doctors not concerned, abdominal ultrasound only found a mildly fatty liver. All bloods normal, still able to eat normally and exercise

• Stomach discomfort for several years, but nothing really serious. This is why I started investigating.

My weight is stable (slightly increasing), and I have a healthy diet with adequate calorie intake.

I'm mainly trying to understand the possible cause of the anemia, since iron deficiency, vitamin B12 deficiency, and obvious thyroid disorders don't seem to explain it.

My questions

1. What would be your differential diagnosis based on these results?

2. Which investigations would you order next?

   (Reticulocyte count, transferrin saturation, CRP, copper, ceruloplasmin, peripheral blood smear, etc.)

I'm not looking for a diagnosis, only to better understand what should be investigated next before my next medical appointment.
