No blunt weapon to speak of, and trying to run past these ultra fast skellies is comical.....and they're way too fast to cast multiple Soul Arrows.

Everywhere you look it says to get this weapon early but how the hell is a lvl 15 Royal supposed to do this? Can't even find a vid of anyone doing this.

Basically Elden Ring was my first fromsoftware game. So, I understand that demon's souls differ in that there isnt a checkpoint round every corner, but I'm wondering how that works in terms of leveling. So I beat the firsf boss, and I've been making my way through the next part. I made it across the bridge with the dragons, and this enemy at the end of the bridge just came at me and basically killed me straight away. Normally in elden ring, I'd think "okay, maybe I just need to level up a bit more first," but this seems somewhat impractical here. Obviously I'd have to find my way back there without dying, reclaim my souls, but then what? I feel like the same guy would kill me straight away as soon as I get there again. Since there aren't any real checkpoints, there's nowhere I can spend my souls unless I run all the way back to the beginning of the level again. Am I supposed to do that? Or do you have to just work with what you've got until you beat the next boss? Just seems really tedious to have to run all the way back to the beginning of the level again just to level up.

I didn’t know atmosphere could carry this hard. I’ve beaten DS1-3, Bloodborne and Elden Ring and thought okay fine, ill play the remake. This game is the tits. I don’t mind the controls and combat being not super in depth bc the atmosphere is just SO good. Wish I had played this sooner!

Anyone know how to fix this?

I messed up and died in body form in the shadowmen archstone now I can't grab that katana and get to the NPC due to tendancy, does anyone need help on a boss so I can raise my tendency?

Hey Folks, so i have been playing Demon Souls on the PS5 in the past 2 days. Just for some quick history on myself, Ive been playing Elden Ring for past 3 years (or whenever it was released) and while I am not one of those great players but I do feel im at least in the good range. I should hope so, with 3500 hours played in Elden Ring. Not bragging, just stating I am not a complete noob with Souls games. Being over 60 years of age maybe its a reflex issue but i honestly dont think so.

Anyway, Demon Souls on the PS5 has been really kicking me arse. I have not looked up guides or really anything about the game but from what ive played recently, I fricken love it. Have a few questions.

Is there a way to summon other players for help like in Elden Ring? Have not been able to so far. I did manage to kill the monster with a bunch of shields but got steamrolled by the next boss after that.

I am playing as a Knight, is that a good starting class I just assumed it is. This is going to be my next all in game for the next long while so am looking for any tips, suggestions or strategies.

Hello fellow slayers, I'm new to demon's souls being the last remaining souls to complete. I'm currently in boletaria before phalanx (from what I understood this stage is 1-1) and I got attacked by a woman out of nowhere. A npc that kept shouting about me betraying the king? Is it normal or did I mess up something? ( Idk if it influenced something but you should know that when skipping dialogues with the monumental the first time you talk to him( cause I already played the boletaria part but didn't explore the area where the npc attacked me) I pressed no as an answer.

Been getting into demon souls lately and was hoping to play some co- op with others to beat some bosses. Is anyone interested?

I also don't understand the summon signs mechanism, like if I leave my sign in front of a boss gate and leave the area, it disappears. So do I need to just stand there forever hoping someone summons me?

Playing on PS3 (for now) I was thinking of doing Rapier buffs, then I remembered this game has some Katanas, which I never use. For the souls games I usually go strength, but for DS I wanted to be different... and do what everyone else does.

Current build is Royal with 10 str and 14 dex, but it's still very early.

I beat the remake and got all the trophies. Anything I should know before starting the OG?
