Published Scenarios Running First Delta Green Campaign

Upvotes

Hi all! I'm going to be running God's Teeth for my regular group. We just finished a "mess around" Rogue Trader campaign, so they have a decent handle of how d100 systems work.

Is there anything special I need to know? I've run a Delta Green oneshot before. Any advice would be helpful!

Published Scenarios Shotgun/Short Scenario on the subway

I read some time ago a very short scenario involving very strange things happening if you got on the New York subway, but I can't remember where. Anyone know what I'm talking about and can point me in the right direction?

Published Scenarios Running my first game tomorrow- FULMINATE in 4 hours?

A few of my D&D players can’t make our regular session, so I’m looking for a scenario to introduce a couple of players to Delta Green. Ideally the entire scenario is completed within 4 hours and doesn’t spill over into a second session.

I’m leaning away from Last Things Last as it feels too short. We’ve already done character creation & explained the rules.

Is Operation FULMINATE do-able in 4 hours with two agents? Any other suggestions for a good one-shot intro?

Published Scenarios Scenario: Trans-Atlantic Pattern Recognition Epidemic

Hello all! For half a year I wrote a 4500-word DG scenario about CIA, espionage, and a mystery CD full of Unnatural. It is my first original written scenario, and I had many friends helping to develop it into a coherent story. I hope you find it interesting. 😁 It can be found from the DG Scenarios Database. Let me know your thoughts! 🤓

Items of Mutual Interest Jack Frost - Dissection, GM review and advice

While the summer is still blazing hot, the RPG Reanimators are trying to cool things down by dissecting the Delta Green scenario Jack Frost! ⛄

Holly ran this scenario multiple times for us (which will soon be coming out as APs on our YouTube channel) on our Discord server, so we're able to approach our experiences and recommendations both from a player and GM side of the table.

You can listen to the episode on your preferred podcasting platform here: https://pnc.st/s/rpg-reanimators/a164fa64/jack-frost-dissection

Published Scenarios "X-Files" types scenario?

There is a ton of scenario for Delta Green, which is an extremely good thing.

But which one would you consider are the most "X-Files" coded?

Basically scenarios that don't go too far on the eldritch/elder gods aspect, but more on local, strange and supernatural issues, with some potential conspiracy in the background?

Items of Mutual Interest Impossible Landscapes Esquie Novel Recommendations.

Hello! I'm currently a player in a Impossible Landscapes campaign and having an unbelievably good time. My problem is that I genuinely can't get enough of this type of horror and I obviously can't read the module (yet) to explore it more so I was wondering if anyone here has any novels/audiobooks that might scratch the same itch as Impossible Landscapes/Yellow King.

Campaigning More action for my table

I just bought the books in portuguese, and I'd like to start a game with my group, but they want more action than a tradicional Call of Cthulhu campaing provides.

How can I add that extra touch to the system? How to make the campaing a little more action without becoming a gonzo Pulp Cthulhu or a Arkham Horror campaing?

Published Scenarios Impossible landscapes handouts?

I recently ordered a copy of impossible landscapes from Amazon after seeing that it was sold out on arc dreams website. Do I need to email someone at Arc Dream to get the handouts or do you need to buy it from arc dream directly to get the handout?

Campaigning Running In Person

Hi all,

I'm an experienced virtual GM and have run several scenarios via Foundry. I'll be running Viscid in person for a group of 5 in August.

I was hoping to get some ideas or advice on some cool things to add to an in person game.

I had the idea to hand out manila folders labelled "TOP SECRET", with a printed out version of the briefing.

Are there any other cool additions, handouts, or other things you can do in person that you normally couldn't/wouldn't have as much of an effect virtually?

Thanks in advance!

Published Scenarios Adventures that begin with recruitment

I'm interested in starting a Delta Green campaign and think my players would enjoy playing through the inciting incident that leads to their recruitment into Delta Green.

I know PX Poker Night ends in recruitment, though a party of all airmen feels a bit off.

What other adventures are out there that include recruitment?

Campaigning Looking for Players to Play the Convergence Scenario!

Click. Click. Click. The TV’s dials turn. It’s been a long day. You recline in your motel chair. It’s stiff. The cushioning is bad. It’s not home. But after a day like this, you just don’t care. Popcorn in your lap. Chips from the vending machine. The second cup of a Reese's 2-pack. You gave the first to the pregnant girl who, in your care, found her first moments of comfort in a weeks-long nightmare.

The channels buzz in and out. You give the TV a good whack. It’s the last of your strength. Your head is killing you. You reach for the bottle of aspirin. You struggle with the cap. You swallow dry. Your wrists ache. And then they sear.

An image. Some static. Sound.

Fanfare and applause arise uproariously—the band starts playing big band. Instruments shine in the harsh studio light.

A lanky man with slicked-back hair walks on stage and gives pistol fingers.

He’s gyrating, somersaults, this man’s tailor is a genius. He’s kissing. Throats are sucking his tongue. He’s shoving the microphone down his throat. Karate chop! He’s already sweating. He’s throwing his sweat everywhere! The ladies love it. The men hate that their ladies love it! Grumpy! Grumpy! Sour! Jealous! Into the crowd. Hands grab! Shoulders! Thighs! Crotch! He’s drowning!

And from the audience he reemerges.

He sits down behind his stage desk.

He smiles a full, satisfied smile. His teeth are polished with God’s shoeshine.

His tongue starts wagging. "You know what they say? Those wackos in Groversville? They say: I wanna believe. Well you know what? I wanna believe they’re crazy. And you know what else?"

Howdy everyone! I'm looking to run the Convergence scenario for Delta Green. I'm pretty new to the system, but I've fallen in love with it. The above blurb is a introduction I wrote for the scenario!

A little about me: I've been gming on and off for about 4 years, but I usually run PF2e, and I'm looking to try out Delta Green. I've ran the system only once so far, but I'm largely familiar with the rules. I'd love to find a group that's willing to fully engage with the system, as its both seems to be a challenge to play, and a challenge to run, yet seemingly, extraordinarily gratifying.

Convergence isn't a particularly long scenario, so if things go well, I'm definitely open to running more stuff I've picked up. The scenario should last about 3 sessions of four hours, but the length can vary depending on what happens during the session.

I currently in the EST timezone and I plan on running games during the evening. I'm free on days other than Saturday and Friday.

If this game sounds up your alley feel to reach out directly on discord @ pillmuncher, and we can talk about the game!

Fiction Seeking advice on the one-shot I'm writing

Hey Handlers! I'm looking for some advice. I'm really excited to run this one-shot I'm planning that takes place near my old hometown in the maritimes (Canada), and I'm pretty stoked to involve underwater aspects, but I fear I'm setting up a scenario that my agents won't really be able to engage with in a fun way.

Long story short, I've set up a set of disappearances and clues that will lead them to a secret Mi-go laboratory on the ocean floor off the coast of Nova Scotia. I think it's a fun concept that since the Mi-go don't really need to breathe or worry about atmospheric pressure, they'd see the ocean floor as a suitable base of operations that isn't likely to be stumbled upon by humans.

Here's my problem: I don't really know how the agents could reasonably get there. My best plan is they'd use diving equipment and get dropped off by boat, but... then what? They couldn't exactly bring firearms with them to the bottom of the sea, so they'd be going in defenseless. As a Call of Cthulhu keeper, I'm not too worried about that. But as a Handler, I dunno, I feel like I'm setting them up to be in a no-win scenario. They can't exactly run away if they destroy the lab, it'll take minutes for them to get back into diving gear and if they keep the gear on they'll be totally useless in any combat scenario.

Is this salvageable? I love the set-piece of an underwater lab, but maybe I need to let it go in favour of a scenario the agents can more reasonably engage with. What do you think?

Media Snow Dice Side Quests - Last Dance Last

So last month I had 3 out of 5 of the core Snow Dice team available for an Impossible Landscapes session 0 & character creation. Since we had a couple spare hours I ran a version of Last Things Last, but altered to bridge between the 1950's set Map Made of STATIC and 1990's set Night Floors.

The new characters are civilian bonded couriers working for an accounting firm and this assignment is what gets them tied into 'The Conspiracy'.

Ep one at the apartment is fairly standard though Ep two at the cabin deviates a lot from the source text soooooo YMMV.

Enjoy!

Episode 2: The Queen of Lasts

Published Scenarios The New Age "For the World" Spoiler

Hey everybody. I am currently running The New Age scenario. There's a bit of spoilers here, so if you're a player, you might not want to read this.

There is a part in the scenario where the players find a tape labeled "For the World". In it, is a recorded manifesto. In the scenario, Handlers are given a sort of summary of what is on the manifesto. I was wondering if anybody had written up a full script or anything like that. Also any other Handler tools or tips for this scenario? Thanks for any help!

From Wikipedia: In 1987, detectives Georgia Cooke and Michael Thorne are called to investigate the bizarre and brutal killings of four scientists at the remote Parrish Research Station. They uncover a complex case involving mania, ritual, and the occult, and Georgia's obsessive truth-seeking spirals, threatening her family, career, and sanity. Thirty seven years later, a chilling new spree of murders pull Georgia back into this nightmare as she confronts the possibility that the horrors at Parrish Station were never fully buried.

Items of Mutual Interest What exactly is Delta Green meant to be?

I've played Call of Cthulhu for awhile now, and I just recently heard about Delta Green, which I think uses practically the same engine as Call of Cthulhu. From what I know, it's kind of like Men in Black and X-Files but scary, but correct if I'm wrong. All I've heard is that like Call of Cthulhu with the main genre being Cosmic Horror, Delta Green is more focused on Aliens being much more horrifying, like making the Doctor Who aliens a heck more scary then their meant to be, and conspiracy theories. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Campaigning Any Tips/Advice for running Damnatio Memoriae

I'm prepping to run Damnatio Memoriae and wanted to see if any Handlers have advice or tips for it, or if any players have feedback about what they liked the most?

I'm listening to the Dead Letter Bureau playthrough currently.

Year of the Goat is a collection of 12 scenarios, all connected to Shub-Niggurath in one of her many guises.
While written for Call of Cthulhu, 7 of them are Modern scenarios, and several of them are quite suitable for a Delta Green conversion.

At this moment, we are 5 sales away from Elektrum Best Seller, which will make it eligible for Print on Demand. Will your support be the one that puts it over this threshold?
