It’s fine if you don’t buy these, all I ask is that you please keep an open mind and keep things respectful in the comments. I just wanted to get it out there that Tanjiro does have arguments that can match or even surpass Ruby’s and that this MU is a lot closer than people might think. But again, I won’t blame anyone for doubting these feats. If, at the very least, my calcs and the logic behind them make sense to you even if you don’t agree with the scaling, that’s honestly enough of a victory for me

Why Conquest VS All Might? Idk I saw this matchup on the feed months ago and thought it was intriguing. Trust me I know there's 0 to no connections but the potential dynamic sold me on it. Plus they sorta got similar builds Imao. Wanting to do something kinda random, plus celebrate the latest issue of Battle Beast #11 featuring Conquest, plus recently getting back into My Hero Academia, PLUS heavy inspiration from tsetsebumba on instagram, all culminated in this random ahh peice. Why I want it to be Alastor vs Dr Facillier:

I want Hazbin Hotel to get on the show. Simple as, and this I'd my favourite for Alastor, the fight dynamic could be interesting with them using their freaky powers against each other and potentially a deal being struck, heck the death could be interesting. And, if it happens, it means Caine won't be fighting Alastor when he comes on.

Why I think it's Sailor Moon vs Madoka:

It's one of the big anime fights they have yet to do. I'm sad as a Moon vs Seiya stan, but it is what it is.

The title is referencing the vocal track version of MegaMan Zero’s “Departure” track that talks about Zero’s struggles and past. “Full Moon Full Night” is the theme of Persona 3 reload

Anyways, as you can probably tell this is using X Dive scaling and forms to make the fight closer which I think is the best way to do it

This fight probably has the best connections I’ve ever seen and it’s honestly the best matchup for both of them purely from a thematic point (especially when comparing X and the P3 protag). Honestly Zero vs Aigis could probably easily be the most emotional death battle of all time. Zero’s analysis especially going I to who Dr. Wily was, the X games and ending with the Zero games especially has the potential to honestly surpass the Shigiraki analysis in how emotionally it’s framed. (Even with X dive being covered, it wouldn’t take away from it one bit).

So yeah this matchup is fucking awesome and actually close. Might do sprite art of it.
