My grandfather passed a bunch of Morgan Dollars down to me, I was wondering if anyone could help me verify if this is a legit 1893 Morgan Dollar S. I tried a magnet on it aswell as the “sound test” and it checked out. I know nothing about these I just hate to fork out money for a grading company to authenticate it if it’s a fake, research I found is they’re heavily counterfeited.

Rojo86 legit?

just started buying Morgan silver dollars on EBAY from rojo 86 and they all are marked BU UNC and look brand spanking new. No they aren’t graded / seller says he leaves it to the buyer to make their own assessment. Does anyone have any experience with this seller?

PCGS Scam

Made the mistake of sending many coins to PCGS, all slabbed by other grading companies. First one they sent back overnight, not graded, and told me "standard" was considered Fedex overnight standard. Fedex charged me $108 to get the same coin I sent back. Out of all the crossovers I sent them, they DNC'ed everyone of them, except one that I indicated I would accept a lower grade. To them, crossing over something in the same grade is like admitting someone else knows how to grade coins, and they're not going to do that. After all, they still get the same money rather they put your coin in a slab or not. You pay to send them, you pay to get them "looked at", and you pay to get your coins back months later.

Total ripoff scam company. Selling all my PCGS coins and bills, and will never send them anything else.
