Why in the heck is this my choice for Best of Show? A junky old Ford station wagon? It's what you don't see that makes it special. The hint is in the dash picture. Guy Walston lifted the body off the old chasis and put it on a 1987 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor chasis. Along with the chasis came all the modern conveniences like ABS braking, air conditioning, power steering and brakes.

I've seen this car a couple times this summer parked up in front of the apartment across from mine and have yet to catch the owner to ask him what the make and model of this beautiful thing is! Never seen anything like it. Any guesses?

My 64 Rambler classic. Windshield leaked and it was full of water and growing grass/moss/mildew when I pulled it out of a side yard last December. Been sorting out the issues as I drive her.

My father-in-law passed away last April. He loved working on classic cars and he did the type of work where he pretty much pieced together whatever he thought might look nice. His passing was very sudden, and has been really hard on our family. We decided to continue the work on a few of the car, so out of this... I'm picking up a new hobby that I never thought I'd fall in to.

Here's his 35 Chevy as we took it to our first car show. I got teased by a few of the guys for not backing it in to the spot lol.

So i did a thing this past weekend. I always loved the look of supremes but when i saw these ridler 652's I just kept thinking how good they would look on my 65 Rivi. Love the look, especially the rear rims. 20x10 rear, 18x8 in front.

It's my last night in Maui and I spotted this delivery truck. I jumped out to take a picture and saw a man walking back from the beach and asked if I could take a picture. This turned out to be a big highlight of my trip. He showed me the interior, inflated the bags, showed me a lifted '89 Suburban (not pictured), the two trucks in the garage and then a quick tour of his barber shop. I asked permission to post all of these. Honestly, this guy was so nice and is living the dream.
